The Customer Service was good. Professional and fast.
The rented car, however, was not to the proper standards. Although the car was a brand new car (I was only the second renter), it was improper for the hilly terrain of the South-West Peloponnesus. The engine was the smallest possible for that car, which resulted in not enough power to climb the ups and downs of the roads. I had to switch very often to the first gear to be able to drivie the car uphill at all! This is going to kill the car's engine pretty soon.

I cant believe i had to wait till 07.00 to return my car when the shop was open. I was told i had to pay 36 euros to return the car 20 minutes earlier... unbelieavable...

M. alle ore 9:00 come da prenotazione n° ******* mi sono recato presso l'Europcar di Santorini per il ritiro dell'auto, il commesso al momento della consegna mi dice che l'auto non può consegnarmela perché sono sprovvisto di carta di credito, cerco di spiegargli che al momento della prenotazione non ho avuto nessuna difficoltà e lui infastidito conclude il discorso invitandomi a cercarmi un'altra agenzia; non potevo perdere altro tempo pertanto cerco di fargli capire che non ci sarebbero stati problemi con la carta (già utilizzata altre volte per il noleggio). Convintosi, mi ha detto che ci sarebbe stata una soluzione, pagare un ulteriore deposito di € 290,00 che mi sarebbe stato restituito al termine del noleggio. Perché nella ricevuta non sono presenti le € 33,03 della polizza n. *******/2 per la protezione assicurativa completa che ho pagato al momento della prenotazione? Le € 290,00 quando mi verranno restituite? Attendo Vs riscontro.

The deposit that will be blocked on the credit card will be released by the cardholder's bank, upon notification after the vehicle returns. The estimated time of released is always depends of bank the customer use.

Car fine. Needed credit card but debit accepted eventually deposit also taken no receipt. Trust all is OK. Unexpected late arrival charge made. No instructions for drop off, still unsure what we do today. Greet on arrival was nice.

It was difficult to find the rental desk which actually was in the car rental parking and also difficult to reach the parking as it was far from the airport. We had to call the main company and wait til we get some instructions and luckily they sent us a shuttle to drive us to the parking place. Everything was fine with the check in. Very pleasant boy and helpful. What actually we didn't like is the extra insurance service, it could be more flexible and not so complicated. It should be provided by the car company and not 3rd parties. In general the car was new and we really enjoyed the ride around the island.
5 minutes before handing over the car, I arrived at a gas station next to your company's premises where I instructed the gas station attendant to fill the car with gas. In total, the car's tank was filled with 8,970 liters and then when I started the car's engine I found that the gas gauge did not show full. I thought it was a problem with the indicator and, with the receipt, I went to the company's facilities, which was 200 meters away. There the employee thought that I didn't fill with gas the car, while I showed him the receipt and of course, it was self-evident from the kilometers I traveled and the liters I filled the tank with (168 km). The employee insisted that I did not fill the car with gas and then I insisted that we have to go to the gas station where I filled the car with gas so that he could ask the gas station employee himself that I had instructed him to fill the car, which he did. The employee of your company got into the car and we went to another gas station against my will and he asked the employee who knew, to put gas in the car. As soon as he started putting in gas, the cannula automatically stopped because the car was full of gas and the pump read 0.5 liters!
In general, this tactic of your company is unacceptable.
When we pick up the car where it is delivered to us "full" we should also go to the next gas station and if the car takes gas we should return and insult the employees of your company, as your employee insulted myself, because they gave us "full" gas while this is not the case.
The staff at the pick up location were awesome! Very friendly, they picked us up on time and helped us with our bags. They were grest!

Only drawback is that comm with the office must be via phone call, no voip option.
