Hinge came in round hard cardboard tube. Taped on both ends VERY good. Hinge is unpainted and oily to the feel. (GOOD). I can clean it and spray black paint. Or maybe just leave it. Not sure yet. No holes so I will drill my own where needed.
Seems VERY strong, this is not a cheap flimsy hinge you might think! Very heavy duty.

When we received our Conventional Ramp Door Spring for 8' Wide Enclosed Trailer - Dual Spring - 150-lb Capacity, we opened the box and the right pulley had a piece broken off the edge. It seems some safety foam of some kind should have been used, as a short drop onto a hard surface or banging the edge of the box on a hard wall must have caused the damage, snapping off a piece of the cast aluminum. When asking for a replacement part, I provided a picture of the broken piece. That was earlier today; if I don't here back on an ETA for our need part, I will revisit the review process and leave more up-to-date remarks.
