Purchased the Tekonsha trailer wiring harness for the 23 Mazda cx30. It was a fairly easy install other than the main power wire from the battery to the harness. The car didn't provide an easy way to run the wire but it got done never the less. I went with the Tekonsha unit over the Curt due to the poor reviews for the Curt. I have had trouble with the Curt power unit in the past and while Curt always made it right I didn't want the hassle of doing it all over again. Both units are made in Mexico. The Tekonsha is a little higher cost, but the overall reviews are much better than the Curt.
We bought this for our son's automobile for Christmas. Was very easy to order and received faster than expected.
Delivery was quick for a replacement part I needed because Amazon lost a spring bar and their customer service was inadequate and had me wait until a few weeks so they get correct tracking info before I could get another curt ******* sent to me so I didn't have time to waste waiting. So I ordered the replacement part myself and it arrived promptly
I have shopped etrailer over the years when I needed something they have. Their videos are awesome on installation and they most often have competitive pricing and often, cheaper than others. Truly a great company to deal with.
It took me a few days of searching etrailers website to figure out which jack i needed. I took several measurements off my old jack trying to figure out the proper jack to purchase. It would be nice if etrailer could include ALL measurements on ALL jacks in their description.
The ability to search for camping equipment based on make and model is so helpful. I was on Google for about an hour looking before trying websites. I regret that so much. Once in Etrailer with the make and model search bar front and center, I looked for what I needed and checked out in less that 10 minutes. Later on, there was an issue with my address. The etrailer team followed up with me quickly and got that resolved in a flash.
