I decided to try this stuff for just the shipping price which cost more than what was advertised. Then I find out that your company is trying to bill me for a subscription which I didn't know about. That goodness my banks on to it and stopped the payment. This is getting money by stealth and I think it's appalling and I won't be getting anything else from you
Even though a Google search stated there is no sneaky subscription with this company, its all lies, they send you a tiny trial tub and then a couple weeks later charge your account at $188.84 and don't even send a full size product so you end up paying near $200 for a trial product and won't refund you any money. All they can say on the phone is read the terms and conditions and read the email sent stating the process, which I never recieved
Their customer service is the worst l have dealt with. Dec. 13, I ordered an argan oil 50 mL bundle and they shipped it together with the 14 day trial Argan Infused Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I received the package the 20th of December and phoned in the 28th to check why I was billed twice, 1 for $251.14 and another for $143.08. I was told in a rude manner that the trial product is considered sold since I did not cancel right away. I said I did not even tried nor open the product, and if that is the case I'd rather send it back and ask a refund of my money. I requested a refund and was told NO! The rude lady is saying 14day trial starts when it was shipped. Seriously! And she rudely said You knew exactly what you were doing and will not get a refund. She was really disrespectful. I hope no one else has to experience that kind of disrespect from a company. They have absolutely, no customer service Etiquette.
I am now writing to you for the fourth or fifth time. I thought I had a breakthrough last week when I received an email back from you clearly stating you would get back to me by phone in response to my complete dissatisfaction of your product. I don't want to have to go through everything I said as I'm sure it's on record, and assumed you would be prompt with getting back to me to resolve my dispute as you showed a sincere acknowledgement by way of an apology and an explanation for the tiny amount of product I received in an already very small jar of the idro… cream. I have now reached the point where I am going to try to disgrace this company by way of social media and posts. I believe I have been reasonable and patient in this situation and am so disappointed with the way things have been handled on your behalf. Not only did I cancel all transactions to your business but I also never received the outstanding amount owed for the postage of a product I never ordered or received, which was promised by one of your customer service employees but was also talked into paying for a COMPLETE product which was at very best a third of a jar! As I stated I was happy enough with the Argan oil as it was a full bottle. I am now sounding like a broken record and fed up with you lack of communication an any sort of compassion for my situation. I would gladly appreciate it if someone could get back to me ASAP as this has become farcical as is your company. Money and greed obviously is at the essence of your business. I have already started the ball rolling in regards to disgracing your company and won't stop until you are under. I ordered 2 products. None of them worked. On the top of that worst customer service. And 14-day Trial is just extracting the money from customer for 1 time product. They charge you and terms and conditions are only to confuse customers in words.
My friend got trapped in their scam. Please be aware. She had to pay shipping for each item, and when she saw reactions to her skin and hair, she let the company know. The company made her pay for another shopping cost to return the items; otherwise, they were planning to charge the actual product prices. You can find different brands at a cheaper price from different companies. More importantly, Amazon and other websites have these items for very low prices.
Their customer service is the worst l have dealt with. I ordered a mold and skin tag remover for my husband. The day the package arrived with two other trial creams, l quickly opened the serum bottle and applied to the affected areas on my husband's back. When nothing happened as promised. Later that day, l applied again and so on. Days later, l looked at the bottle and to my surprise, it was a youthful serum for face.
That same day, l noticed US$102.53 deducted from my checking account. I called to ask why and was told l didn't call with the 7 day trial. Nothing happened in 7 days after using a new product. I requested a refund and was told no! You knew exactly what you were doing and will not get a refund.
A few days later, l called again, and spoke with another agent. Again, she was disrespectful and started the same as before.
I hope no one else has to experience that kind of disrespect from a company. They have absolutely, no customer service Etiquette.
You cannot just cancel your subscription. You need to wait for the product to arrive so if you are on vacation when it arrives late, you're screwed! Did NOT receive my product and still had to pay 30$
They offer a free trial and when order is purposefully delivered late you not only receive items you didn't want nor have use for you're charged $139 and locked into a contract. When you attempt to call their provided phone number to cancel you can't get through and the automated system says to "try again" with no different outcome. Emails are unanswered and there's no mechanism on their website to cancel. Argon oil is a great product but I'd advise ordering from elsewhere.

I had an allergic reaction to this product so I contacted Essence of Argon to return it during the 14 day trial period and paying the 12.98 on shipping cost…they said I would have to pay an additional 9.99 for each item I received to get an RMA number for the return and pay for return shipping. BTW the 14 day trial starts the day you place your order, not the day you receive it.

They offer "free" trial sample to be delivered. Hidden in terms and conditions is a clause that says you must contact them to cancel trial within 14 days of order date or you locked into forced deliveries costing hundreds of dollars. Order never arrives in time so they make you responsible to contact them to redo delivery. And the cycle just repeats. At some point you miss the time restriction and automatically get locked in.
I paid for postage for a free trial
They sent me more product and accessed my Visa. I had already emailed and told them before they sent anything NOT to after I checked online about their company
I went on their website and they had a cancellation page, hahahaha, yeah I tried 4 times and it said orders were cancelled, I didn't order anything that I knew of but I still cancelled it, well tried
When I got my Visa account there were charges that I did not recognize, they had similar account names. I contacted Visa and the admitted I was hacked/scammed, they are looking into the situation.
I am NOT saying Essence of Argan company took this money BUT $617 was taken from my Visa and my card was cancelled immediately.
Only then did Essence of Argan contacted me and said they cannot access my Visa account and had cancelled any further orders, I had no orders. It seems if you don't get the free product back to them in 14 days they consider this an ongoing order. I didn't see this and I did go on their cancellation page and cancel 5 times and 3 emails, my fault I guess
This company is a nightmare, stay clear of them at all cost, you can buy 1Lt of Argan oil for around $au120

This is not free and product doesn't work … they are they terrible customer service with no grace … seen more charges on my account … not happy
They only wanted me to pay for the shipping, the never send any confirmation email, it took 17 days before the products arived, the money was taken a few days after that and I was not allowed the proper trial... I'm a beneficiary with a chronic illness, and have no kids or husband or any family for support, and they took more than 300 dollars out of my account a few days before Xmas... I have been trying to get my money back... I never subscribed, yet I am told I was... Still to this day thanks to their greedy actions, I had to go without groceries that Xmas and all the automatic payments of my bills were left up the wall with no payment to give them, as there was hardly any money left in my account after they swiped it all... I am so depressed now
I responded to a free trial offer. What they fail to tell you is that you are automatically enrolled in the subscription program and that if you don't like the product and want to cancel you still need to pay $29 USD for the free trial offer. I have sent back the product without trying it, it could be the best product in the world but I refuse to deal with a company that is so underhanded in how they sell their product. It cost me $20 in shipping to receive and return this! Thank-you for nothing.

Foolishly, I took up the "free" trial offer and my card was charged NZD$149.32 before I even received the product. Also, the smell is very off putting.
If you sign up for a free trial, please make sure you read the fine print (it's really small, and very wordy). It's not a free trial, it's a pay for shipping but if you don't cancel before the trial period (which doesn't allow enough time to ship internationally - my sample product arrived 7 days after they charged me) we will charge you the full price. I know it's my fault for not reading the small print (the customer service lady made that quite clear) but I feel they go out of their way to take your money. They send a full size product - not a sample so it's not cheap either. I managed to block the second charge they were going to do against my card thankfully. I had to cancel my card because I don't trust that they have cancelled my subscription (the one I didn't know I had signed up to). Totally embarrassed that I got scammed - so please be careful out there!
Suffering from rough hands this winter, I decided to get some of this Argan Oil. This product had the best review and not only that, it was the most reasonable by a bunch! After the first treatment, my hands are noticeably softer. I keep it by my reading table so when I finish in the kitchen and come to sit down, it's there to put a bit on my hands. It only takes a pea-sized amount on the back of each hand to do both hands and my once very dry cuticles. I'll never be without this stuff again. I love it!
