Used Escrow.com to purchase a car. Paid extra for the lien holder service. Not worth the time or money to bother using this service as it's easier just to walk into the Lienholder's bank and do business. They did not guarantee or handle the title and the seller had to ship it to me anyway. So I received 0 utility for the fee. After the transcation they refused to assist and I was on my own to deal with the lienholder.
I am new to domain name sales and Mariana was a very helpful, competent and professional person to work with. Her communication was clear, concise and pleasant. She paid close attention to my transaction which was very reassuring. I plan on using escrow.com again.
When I made a deal with a seller to purchase a domain name for a sum that was quite large. I was nervous about the process. I was also nervous of being defrauded. The seller suggested escrow.com, and after some brief research, I agreed. Now having completed the transaction, I'm so happy we elected to use escrow.com. Not only did they protect me (and the seller too, making sure the payment was made and verifying my identity extensively), but they also made sure everything worked out after the sale was made. It was a little difficult providing the codes to escrow as it will be easier if there was another way to provide it over the site rather than through email. I also needed help with the steps in getting the code.

It would be better if we offer more support via phone since we are unable to transfer them directly to the Concierge Team real time. The seller is old fashioned and would prefer to be assisted via phone.

Horrible. Do not send them money before all paperwork is approved! They will change the process and requirements on the go, and ask for another paper, another signature, and nothing of this is in their terms & conditions... and your money is just sitting there...
To all sellers: do not let your customers go through this experience. It will reflect on YOU.
I accidentally checked off assets as received and went one step too far and checked them as accepted. I was suddenly the new owner instead of having 3 days for a due diligence period. I did a quick chat with Escrow.com and Jenn M called me and got it set back one step. Thank you

Everything was set for my car to be picked up on a Sunday, funds wired to escrow.com's bank on Thursday were to arrive on Friday. I checked my bank Friday morning and was surprised to see that my wire was returned by escrow.com's bank. I spent hours on the phone and in chats with escrow.com and no one would take ownership or contact THEIR bank to see why funds were returned. I ended up being charged $65 for the wire and had to delay the truck for pickup by a week. Service was marginal at best. They kept blaming my bank however we proved the wire was sent accurately. I used a competing service and had no issues. Will never use escrow.com again.

Ron took me through the payment process very clearly. I was also asked while on the line to submit my title document which he received when we were talking and he forwarded to the proper folks. He was very courteous, friendly and helpful.
This was my first utilizing Escow.com. Their concierge service was above and beyond what I expected. Their system requires you to give the a lot of very personal information and in the end has many issues.
My Drivers licence has nine numbers but they only accept 8 so it fails verification.
My Passport, likewise has 9 characters and they only accept 8 so once again it fails.
I sent photos (max resolution) of my licence but they rejected it because it needs to be bigger.
I just sold my domain using Concierge. Couldn't have been easier. The toughest part was dealing with Network Solutions to remove the blocks they put a *every* step. But, aside from that, Concierge received the funds, waited the Network Solutions-imposed three day wait and the following day my money was in the bank. Easy.
We had some issues regarding the verifying of our account and the online interface was a bit confusing, but once we called the customer service number, the agent identified the issues and walked us through exactly how to resolve them.

Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot.
