Online chat very helpful

I had already read the information about selling a car that has a lien on it, and the website was clear about how that works. But since I've never done anything like this, I needed to make sure I understood. The person assigned to me for the online chat was patient and thorough, and I am very much reassured now that I understand the process and expectations.

We had a glitch - which I was responsible for because of bank account name. However, Jenny M was amazing at helping to resolve this. She was knowledgable, patient, listened carefully and even calmed me down as she got the issue resolved. I am impressed with the company's service and especially Jenny M. My latest book on customer service reached the WSJ best seller list so Im pretty discerning and I can tell you that Jenny is a champion

I was on the phone to GAB C at customer support and she was the best. She helped me out so much and answered all of my questions promptly. I had a confusing situation that was hard to explain but she took the time to go through every aspect of the problem so she could fix it correctly. I appreciate this customer support and will definitely use Escrow.com again :)

I have been using Escrow.com for nearly 15 years and have been very pleased with their service. I also have to say that when Escrow.com was sold to the new owners about a year ago I would have given them a 1 Star rating. Their service during their transition period as the new owner was problematic to say the least. I have been self-employed almost all my life so I can also understand the problems in transition of a new business or service. Right now I give them 5 Stars as they are hitting on all cylinders. I'm also starting a new website DomainNamesRus.com which will be up and running by mid July -2017. We will have about 2,000 premium domains for sale and Escrow.com will be handling the Escrow on all Sales. You better be glad that Escrow.com is out their as it would worry me greatly if they was not an Escrow.com to go too. Thanks for listening... David Webb

Awesome Service!

This was my first time ever using escrow.com and I am happy that I did. I was hesitant at first but everything went smoothly. Account Manager Mauli Fry was fantastic and quick to respond. Escrow.com kept me informed every step of the way. I could not have asked for better service.

This was my first contact with Escrow support after making 2 online business purchases. The agent, Diana V. was both knowledgeable, friendly, and took effective remedial action on all the issues I had, all of which were based on my lack of full understanding of the process. Everything has turned out perfectly to my complete satisfaction. I would highly recommend Escrow to all who want to explore the online business in a safe and protected environment. To the negative comments some have made, I risked 15K$ U.S. Without Escrow, I don't want to think where the money would have gone.

If you are a European customer make sure that your bank accept USD Swift transfers.

It turned out my European bank did not support this so I had no way to receive the payment from Escrow. I ended up opening another Bank account, which was a lot of trouble.

The Escrow support was amazing through this process though. Shoutout to Jay for his patience with me and this deal :)

Exceeding expectations. The customer service representative helped resolve a status to complete our transaction. Not only did she answer my questions but she followed through with making a call to the buyer, back to myself, and one final call to the buyer. The matter was resolved within an hour.

They received the wired fund but have not updated their system to let the seller know the funds are in escrow. They blame COVID, their accounting department, or give you other excuses all while acknowledging they have received the funds. But without updating their system and letting the seller know they have them, they are delaying the shipping and possibly jeopardizing the transaction. I deal with over 1500 real estate transactions every year, all using escrow companies. I have never dealt with such a poorly run escrow company.

Worth It

If you have ever been in business you know the pain of charge backs and that it can take down your business even if you did everything right. You can have your merchant account ask for reserves, etc. But with Escrow.com they "Keep the honest, honest" Chat reps are really helpful and right there while you are creating the transaction.

I'm selling a domain name for the first time and have had various questions. I phoned for help twice and got excellent help twice. Quick and thorough. In addition, they provide useful updates by email and on their website.

Overall, they are reassuring and inspire confidence. I wish I had more to sell!

Excellent Customer Service

I used Escrow to help with a lease transfer as I was providing an incentive to the transferee. The transferee unfortunately had to cancel on me but Escrow customer support was able to work with me to get a full refund when the transaction fell through. Very helpful and quick support!

Poor Communication to Seller
February 18, 2023

The buyer requested to use escrow.com and coordinated with them for a vehicle sale. The site was slightly confusing on what the seller needed to do. The buyer requested use of their title transfer service which provided the wrong address for mailing. The only address is a San Francisco address which is not a staffed office, but appears to be a empty office in a high rise. This appears to be a foreign controlled company. Any request for communication takes 24-72 hours for a response. In the end the buyer received the vehicle, escrow received the title, and the seller waited well past their stated release of fund hold date. (For transparency, I'm the seller and I have not received funds yet. Hence the review)

Recommendations: Skip their title service. They need to better communicate with users other than email.

Escrow.com attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Avoid this company if you can. They are have an absolutely terrible, robot-like customer service team who just refuse to offer any help or flexibility. I had a problem with my transaction and asked for my funds to be returned (that's the point of escrow right?).

However, they made it really really difficult for me to get my funds due to an issue with the way my bank sent them the money. There was no way I could resolve the problem and they had no interest in showing any flexibility and offered no helpful advice.

Basically, they didn't care whether I got my money back or not. Thankfully the bank was very helpful and came up with a workaround and eventually I did get my funds returned. However, this was no thanks to escrow.com and it was a very stressful process that took over a month.

Guys, never ever use these guys. Never. Their CS team is rude. When you guys contact them, the will tell you that the transaction is in process. It has been more than 20 days, today I contacted them and they said its in process. So if you want to lose money then use their site.

Perfect Experience

We had a complex transaction for an important domain -- we decided to go for the concierge service and could not be happier. Just took the entire guesswork and stress out of the transaction. Loved it and will definitely work with them again.

I had a problem transaction because the funding of the transaction had delays and a driver was scheduled for pickup. I called CS multiple times to clarify things and to get things moving. Terri went above and beyond and helped sort everything out, calling me back promptly with updates. 10/10

I think it's nice, it was a bit fuzzy at the beginning and the notifications sent always tell me I have to do something which isn't the case. The vehicle will arrive in the next two days or by the weekend and I now understand how to update the transaction.

WORST COMPANY EVER

Escrow.com is the worst company I've ever to do business with. Stay away from this company. I've a lot of sales as a result of the incompetence of this useless company. The management does not care about their customers. Feedback means nothing to them. I don't see this company lasting another 10 years before it's disrupted by a company with better service. Some of the customer support reps do their best to help but the management is a mess.

Take for instance, escrow.com does not accept "ACH" transaction but they never informed their customers about it. What normally happens is that they accept the payment and later refund money back to the buyer thereby wasting a lot of day in the process. I will not advise my enemy to do business with this company.

Stay away from this company.
