Equipmentfacts is an American company that gives auctioneers a simple, cost-effective platform for simulcasting live, on-site equipment auctions to an international audience of bidders. Backed by Machinery Trader, TractorHouse, Truck Paper, and other leading marketplaces, the Equipmentfacts online auction solution offers an industry-specific bidding system that reaches customers actively seeking to bid online for new and used heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, trucks, trailers, attachments, and similar assets.
How Equipmentfacts Works
Auction listings appear on the Equipmentfacts.com website with photos, specifications, descriptions, and videos. The searchable, user-friendly site lets potential bidders contact sellers via phone, email, video chat, and popular apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger. Equipmentfacts staff will handle many of the most time-consuming aspects of bidder management on auction day, including uploading the sales day catalog, managing bidder registrations and approvals, submitting online bids to the auctioneer, and answering bidder questions. Bidders anywhere in the world can simply log on and bid directly from their computers.
Your Trusted Equipment Auction Solution
Equipmentfacts is a product of Sandhills Global, a worldwide information processing company headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. Established in 1978, Sandhills is well-known for its online platforms serving the construction, agriculture, commercial trucking, and aviation markets.
The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. Customers also noted issues with communication and billing accuracy, particularly regarding buyer premiums. Overall, while the company demonstrates strengths in customer support and auction execution, addressing these recurring concerns could enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Good no issues. The only issue I had is there was no information about the pickup I went there on Sunday after the auction and traveled 45 minutes and there was nobody there
I would always confirm you're coming to pick-up the item prior to showing-up.
Very impressed with the accuracy and speed of transaction. Amazing how quick "realtime" bidding acts
Thank you for the feedback!
Tried bidding on several items which I was never put in. Said I won an item then was called by the auction company to find out equipment facts said I won and I in fact hadn't. Audio never did work during the whole sale. Poor experience.
Thanks for the feedback, Logan!
You $#*!s shut me down in the middle of bidding on the one thing I wanted in this sale, causing me to miss it. WTF!
There was only one thing I wanted in this sale. I made sure I was signed up signed in registered, I even used the test your bid lot to make sure everything was working. And it worked fine. Then the item I waited all day for came up. I placed 2 or 3 bids with no problem then a message popped up saying bidding disabled. Ind I was unable to bid anymore. As this was happening I received a call from a out of town # that came up on my phone as scam likely. I was scrambling to figure out why my bidding was disabled so I didn't answer it. And moments later the item I wanted was sold. VERY DISAPOINTING!
When I called the number that tried calling me It turned out to be a rep from Equipment facts trying to verify my number after the sale was almost over, and the 1 item I wanted had sold. WTF! You should do all of your verification before you approve people to bid and before the sale. NOT AFTER THE SALE STARTS AND BUYERS ARE ACTIVELY BIDDING. I'm still pissed off that you cost me the one item I wanted. And you cost your consigner money too as I would have bid higher than what the item sold for
YOU NEED TO DO BETTER!
We appreciate the feedback! We do have a reverification process in place because we accept automated registrations which sometimes lead to fake accounts. We are working on solutions to prevent the potential interruption of the bidding process. We appreciate your understanding until the process is updated.
As a beginner for never doing an online auction, I was very confused on whose bed was doing what till I seen that I stroll down farther on my phone and could see the beds. Also, I thought I was top bit when I didn't so I lost some equipment that I thought I bid the highest on and realized I wasn't the one that was accepted on the bid so I'm assuming just because the first time user it was a little confusing for me, but also I could not pick up and pay for the equipment. I purchased that day. I had to wait till the next week during the week and takeoff a day of work to get it, which is very inconvenient for me.
But I realize that is probably the way online auctions work
Thank you for the feedback! Each auction is unique, communicate with the seller see if other options are available.
Live auction with online bidding. Using my iPhone at home, the connection was generally good with online bidding blending well with onsite bidders. Live feed dropped a few times when unimportant items (to me) were being auctioned. Overall very pleased.
Thank you for the feedback!
First time to bid. Everything was easy and Brock was extra helpful. Shipping also easy.
Thanks, that's what we're going for!
My first Auction. Had plenty of help from my contact Zack. I was a little confused on the shipping. I guess a lot of contractors are in line to get you your equipment. Lot of calls but all went well so far. Courtney and Allissa very helpful in the office. Helped me out tremendously. Thanks Don
Thank you, Don!
69 year old farmer looking to purchase tractor for hay rake, the first tractor had been broken at bell housing the 2nd tractor had ice spikes in all 4 tires a broken fender an other issues purchased these tractors the first one was delivered went to pick 2nd one up seen how badly this tractor was misrepresented did not bring tractor home asked for adjustment to be made by seller that's when they said as is, the auctioneer announced tractor is 100% field ready and is in good shape trick pictures with ride and drive this is not the first time someone tried to sell me a pig in a poke. Equipment facts was made aware of this but took my rights to bid away on something that they misrepresented 100%. This might be how you treat senior farmers like me. I took my wife for better or worse but my mother in law did not lie to me I am old enough to know, but equipment facts was rude, and none helpful when I tried to make adjustments. 2 out of 4 of the previous purchases I have made were misrepresented as well they said I should had went and looked the day of the sale.
As a Newbe to this I have to say that it went smooth and all questions were answered professionally.
Glad you had a great experience!
The site kept losing internet access and I was unable to complete some bids. Happened about 4 times. My account was locked by EF during the auction because of "how many times I was bidding" isn't that the idea of an auction?
Terrible, system locked me and half way through. Wasted day
Thank for the feedback! Due to our automated registration process, bidders are approved, then subject to reverification. The reverification is generally done promptly to prevent delayed bidding. On occasion some delays may occur. Looks like your account approved at 2:29 pm was attempted to be reinstated within the hour. The account is active for bidding.
Everything went very smoothly. There were no problems. It was almost like being at the auction without having to fight the crowd.
Glad to hear!
We appreciate the feedback!
