True. They are different when selling and totally different after that. Seems we made an expensive mistake by paying them. Would have been more satisfied paying to a charity. They just dumped the systems in our place and do not reply to their mails. Support is just another way of extracting money. Do not get in their trap.
I would like to thank Epos Now for the very quick delivery.
We'd completed the contract for our pos with another company months in advance of us getting our premises, but on delivery date it didn't show up - we called up and the businesses had gone bankrupt. It put us under a bit of time pressure needing a fully operational EPOS system within a week.
Epos Now helped us out by getting it dispatched the next day, and by getting an engineer onsite the day after to install it and train us!
Thank you so much! It meant everything was in place for our grand opening. Also thank you to Mastercard, because they refunded the money we paid to the first company.
Now been using this company for 2 years and they still have not managed to integrate our Magento system with the Epos Now till. They have outsourced this to 3 different companies during this time, all have been very amateur and have failed! It has cost my company thousands. Absolutely disgusted with the level of service we have received. Over the last 2 years we have gone trough a number of Epos Now staff, as they are constantly leaving. Will be seeking legal advise! If you have got a Magento system KEEP CLEAR of this company! They offer a solution that does not work!

Awful company. Ran completely wrong and have no idea what they're doing. Staff are poorly trained to deal with issues. Staff do not pass information on. Spend hours and hours on the phone trying to solve issues. I could write for hours. Had many hardware & software issues. The system doesn't even work. Wipes existing bills into thin air. Staff have even told me they don't agree with the things they have to do.

The company sells you on a product that fails continually. You call for support and they run you thru the basics which never solves the problem, or you stay on hold for hours, not exaggerating!
They claim to be upgrading soon, but that day never comes.
I started a business in March and still have not resolved any of their issues.
Just pay more for a better company. It will save you time and money in the end.
They market themselves as a cheap system, the system is cheaply made and
The software is full of problems. When you add modules to bring it up to a spec of what other epos companies offer its extremely expensive. Consequently you end up with a rubbish bit of kit for 50% more than you would pay normally.

We was in need of a quick turn around for a new EPOS solution for our shop. We are due to open in 5 days and had been let down by another solutions providers at the last minute.
I wish I would have found EPOS Now from the beginning as the service was brilliant and made the process so easy. The staff are friendly and really push their limits to make sure your needs are met.
Dominique was the lady who I dealt with, she is very knowledgeable, friendly and really pushed to get the solution to us within the time frame. All in all, an extremely pleasant experience.
We went with Epos Now when looking for a new epos system and I'm so glad we did. They are constantly improving their software and developing apps that benefit our business. Huge fan of our staff being able to swipe in/out with cards. Customer service is always great, which is a bonus!

We've been with Epos Now for about two years, whilst the software has always been great the support used to be a bit rocky. We used to spend up to half an hour waiting on hold just to get through to the support team. Over the last year we've noticed it's become increasingly better. This month we've just opened our second location. We knew it should be straightforward because the new system would just automatically link onto our existing back office, but we were blow away because each time I've called the support team to get it setup or have my questions answered I've never been on hold for more than a minute. It's incredible what a huge difference it makes to the experience of being a customer.
Since launching the Epos Now in our Aspire Lounge & Spa at Heathrow T5. It has enabled my team and I to process all of our guests visits including Spa.
The added benefit of having a clocking and out aids in staff hours and pay.
The latest addition will be our stock control, this will be a valuable tool to monitor our opening and closing stock.
I highly recommend Epos Now product to any business who wishes to develop a robust reporting system which is as flexible as you business needs can be.
Impressed with the level of training that was provided at time that suited us. Ability to go over certain aspects if we were not sure or needed to refresh our memories. Our customer services lady made sure that she tried to understand our business in order to offer us advise on how we should display things on the till as we had no experience at all of any EPOS system all very new to us. Also arrange conference call in as initially the 2 of us who were being trained couldnt always be at the same location but we needed to be trained at the same time

Very helpful support team. Helped me with every question and issues that came up thus far. We initially switched to EPOS to help transition out of our old system and it has been a smooth journey so far especially because of the helpful staff. I would expect a POS system to come with bulk import of stock data from excel / csv file as standard, not pay a lot more extra. ******* products adding to the system at about 1 product per 7 minutes = 132 days, 13 hours, 16 minutes! Staff don't seem interested to help much.
Our business, which is an independent retailer, purchased the system after much consideration to improve efficiency and due to Magento webstore software integration we have been waiting over six months. Contact above the Support Team is impossible. Requests to speak to the Customer Service Manager are fruitless. The Support Team are well scripted and at times it can be over 15 minutes on hold before talking to someone. Daily operations are hindered by the tills freezing and messing up sales. Issues with delays in printing and issuing receipts. The scanners can not scan through product packaging. Printing barcodes is time consuming. Applications are available which you would expect to be standard as part of an EPOS system, are extra. Recommendation do not purchase this system.
We are really sorry that you feel that you have not had the service that you require. It sounds like the people you have been speaking to had good intentions but nonetheless were unable to resolve your issue.

I needed to upgrade my epos system and the people who run this site were more than helpful plus their website has to be one of the easiest I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Very clear and precise information about costs etc. Would recommend to anybody who needs an epos system for their businesses.
Had some trouble setting up at the start as was told it would work on a mac but in the end it didn't. But I would recommend this system to everyone. Customer service is second to none! With remote access they can sign onto your till screen/backoffice and sort any problems your having, really takes the stress away from dealing with the technology when you know someone can remote in. Has totally changed my Business! Being able to at a click see daily sales, staff hours, turnover etc... really makes you feel in control of all your in/outgoings. Can't recommend enough!

Honestly one of the worst customer services experiences i've ever had the misfortune of having to endure. Prices are not transparent and the system has limitations making it unsuitable for my needs. They were unable to import my stock data, unable to setup my label printer and took 3 hours to get the system printing receipts.
The sales executive suggested he had indeed missold me the product however I have had to spend many hours of phone calls and emails to be told that I will not receive any refund. Not a trustworthy company - try calling their existing business number - they rarely answer - they will take your money and run.
They look cheap compared to the competitors but look out for the hidden extra charges and could cost your business dearly in down time chasing them and getting irritated but their complete lack of communication.

I've been using an epos for about 7 years, never had any particular problem but it was getting a little bit dated so I started looking for a newer version. I came across Eposnow from my online research. They seemed like the most modern/future-proof option for my budget.
So far I've been really impressed. We had a few hiccups just getting used to it, but it's given us a real boost in productivity because I can update products on my iPad whilst my daughter is still selling in the store.
