My care team member, Casey was very thorough. She answered all of my questions and listened to my concerns very patiently. Next week, I have 4 appointments at MD Anderson, one of which includes a visit with my oncologist. I have many questions for her regarding my diagnosis and treatment after reading about neuroendocrine tumors/cancer. At that time, I will also request my medical records to be sent to Envita.
Inquiry was to gather information about possibility of future treatment. All questions were answered professionally and thoroughly.
The woman delivering information was very kind and informative.
Muy amena la información recibida bastante explícita, y convincente
Some things I knew and some I didn't. So, good job!
Inquiry about treatment was helpful to evaluate an alternate method for cancer. Did not come to program because logistics of living in another state, time away from work and family and cost.
However program sounds very hopeful. Lrb
It sounds like a great program. Extremely expensive especially if you need accommodations for 6 months.
Very thorough and informative. Very caring and empathetic. Makela, was a pleasure to speak with. Ty.
I LOVE that you are rejecting FULL BODY, FULL STRENGTH chemo. We all know in our gut, "THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER WAY. We know it kills ALL cells, not just the cancer. Yet, we blindly trust our doctors, assuming they know best. UGH! Why aren't we holding DRS more accountable? How about insurance saying we will not pay for what is not shown to be at least 60% effective. Since money talks, would that work to shift us all to wiser precision, targeted ENVITA approach? I long for more of your services worldwide, covered by insurance.
Information on call and on web site is way to ambiguous. No clear pricing, except intro office visit. No pricing schedule for individual treatments, no pricing schedule for out-of-clinic procedures. No clear indication of type of lab work, treatments, or procedures that are in-house vs. in other facilities
Non-generic personalized approach to treatment. Inclusion of immunotherapy, alternate methods.
Very timely call back with great customer care followed up by email!
I called and explained my situation and condition and was told you don't treat my condition ocular melanoma which is fine but I also asked about the mestatic portion of. The person said she'd ask your dr's about it and email me their feedback but I never received a response.
The intake nurse was very helpful. She listened my mom's situation throughly and answered my questions.
I just had a phone conversation, but was a very good experience. Very thoughtful and kind and I received all information I needed to relay to my son to make a decision.
It was a pleasure speaking with Missy and she seemed very knowledgeable.
Lindsey was excellent! Not pushy. She listened to our needs. Answered our questions re: procedures, costs, location, having to be there for 4 to 6 WEEKS, etc. She said she'd email us more info, too, including a list of any campgrounds in the area. Paying $20K to $40K is a TON of money for us. But what Envita is doing sounds great!
In my case, this medical center acted in a very strange way. On their website, they state: "we hand-hold our patients from their first call to us". After I filed an inquiry I got an email back within 24 hours explaining me how they work and inviting me to send them my medical file, which I did after a couple of days. So far, so good. But after sending them my medical file, I did not hear anything anymore. So, after one month, I sent them a reminder, asking, if they were not interested in my case, to let me know this, so that I could go further in my search. But even after my reminder, no response at all.
I find this way of treating a patient looking for help, very strange and dissapointing andI think this way of acting does not correspond with what they are pretending on their website.
The information provided during the phone call to me was quite satisfactory.
Both people I talk to were extremely nice and informative, but the cost was just too prohibitive for me especially in addition to the fact that I would have to pay for lodging for possibly 8 to 10 weeks, and the worst part would be that I would be away from my family for possibly the last 8 to 10 weeks of my life and… I especially did not like the fact I would not be able to continue with my current oncology team at all
Answered all my questions that I. Needed to know very helpful learned a lot
Answer: Jo, it all depends on more factors than just where that cancer is located. At our center, we personalize treatment based on an individual's genetic information, which can play many different factors. To learn more about our clinic please contact us at 1-866-830-4576 and a Patient Care Coordinator can help provide further insight.
Answer: Envita Medical Centers provides treatments that go beyond the realm of what standard insurance is willing to cover so we do not directly bill insurance for our care.
Answer: Unfortunately we do not provide telehealth services at Envita Medical Centers. You would need to be treated at our facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Answer: We are very sorry to hear that your sister is having a hard time with chemotherapy. Chemo can be extremely taxing on the body, especially if given at maximum therapeutic dose without first genetically targeting it to your sister's cancer needs. Which is why if chemotherapy is deemed necessary for a patients protocol we use a proprietary method called GTFC or Genetically Targeted Fractionated Chemotherapy. Here is a link related to this treatment https://www.envita.com/conditions/cancer/chemotherapy
Answer: We treat all cancer types and stages, including endometrial cancer.
Answer: We are aware of this research. We have been looking into developing new agents through our custom compounding pharmacy that harness the same mechanisms of action as the drug ErSO. It is pretty exciting work.
Answer: Fibromyalgia is an idiopathic diagnosis, meaning physicians don't exactly know what caused this collection of symptoms. At Envita we use advanced proprietary testing to identify underlying conditions that could be causing or exacerbating fibromyalgia symptoms. Treatment range can vary greatly depending on how severe your symptoms are. It is recommended you speak with a Patient Care Expert so they can learn more about your case, once they have a better idea of how severe your Fibromyalgia is, then they can give you an idea of what it might take to treat it.
Answer: CIPI could be a potential treatment for your sister but our physicians would need to do an in person assessment of your sister's state of disease before they could recommend CIPI for her.
