We actually have sunrun solar on our roof rt now and we still owe a 7,000.00$ PG&E bill at the end of the year for a 1800 sqft house of 4 with nobody home for 80% of the day because of jobs outside of the home. To me that is just a tiny bit ridiculous! So just to break it down for you a month our electric bill a month is 500$ plus our current bill for the month and that varies per season because where we live in the summer it get 110 degrees which makes it 90 degrees in our house and in the winter we burn wood, we don't use a heater. So in the winter its about 600 in the summer its close to 900 per month that is ridiculous plus we have to pay sunrun a bill any where from 100- 300 per month we we virtually have 2 house payments all year long not to mention just the basic monthly bills are just becoming outrageous
