First time ordering from EcosPaints. It was so easy to order using the color match. They have so many great resources, a blog and even specialty paints like ones specific to pet dwellings. I received the paints no more than a week after ordering. I'll be painting this weekend and can't wait!
We have had so many issues at our house because of the rain and are having to paint a few different rooms. Because we will be home and especially because we have two little ones we didn't want to settle for anything with even low VOCs and chemicals that could disrupt their growing bodies. The paint arrived on time and it color matched to the sample I got for another brand at the Home Depot. Only thing is it was delivered not upright like the box suggested.
Very easy to order samples. They come in small amounts so you're not wasting much if you don't like the color, yet there's plenty of paint to do a large area to make sure you like the color. One suggestion I would make is if the shopping cart had a 'wish list' or a 'save for later' section. That would make things a tad better, otherwise no complaints regarding paint quality, paint quantity, & I have had no shipping issues.
Parrots love to explore with their beaks- and restoring an old cage with a lot of surface rust was already nerve wracking without considering how toxic paint could be. Rust was scary enough! But after removing that the cost of the paint was still well worth it. Despite painting indoors due to the winter weather, there was no smell but it is durable and looks fantastic. I haven't actually had much issue with chipping and it dries pretty fast which is nice. A quart of primer and two colors went a long way... even with several coats. Thank you for giving me peace of mind that my parrot enclosure is as safe as I can possibly make it! I attached a photo without the main doors on. And a stock photo of the type of paint I used. Shipping was fast and the paint was well insulated and protected from damage.
I wanted a non toxic stain for the floating shelf my dad is building me. I was happy to find this company but when my dad opened the lid and put the stain on a piece of tester wood, it came out looking like whiteish/pinkish paint! Not like stain at all. I will be returning this product and hope to get a full refund.
I'm always happy with my purchases from ECOS. Fast & friendly service. Sample sizes are perfect to try out before you buy or to use as touch up over existing paint.
Everything is good so far...started priming my chicken coop and love that there isn't a heavy odor! Great coverage, but I did underestimate how much I need, will be ordering more :)
Incredible finish on all three of the paint products that I purchased. The eggshell is beautiful and it really goes on nice and smooth! Service was fast and efficient - I received my products within 4 days of ordering.
Thanks!
I'll grant you there is no traditional paint smell, but this paint DOES STINK. It smells like rotten vegetable matter or something in the compost bin. After weeks of the paint drying it still smells. Everyone in my house agrees that the room we paint with this stuff stinks. My bedroom feels gross now. Also, I don't love that it came packaged with foam padding. This packaging is not biodegradable and not recyclable. I hate the thought of huge amounts of this foam being used by Ecos. Frankly, this feels like just another greenwashing company that doesn't really care about the environment.
I wanted to patch up my midwest deluxe critter nation cage. I used their pet friendly paint. They helped me find a paint that was close enough it wouldn't stand out and shipped it to me in a reasonable amount of time. Would buy from them again.

Dear Becky,
Thank you for contacting us.
We are sorry that you had an issue with the stain.
It is not possible to see the "pinkish" color from the photo, but the opacity of the stain comes from it being applied too heavily.
The Pickling White color is used to age the wood, making it look a little bleached.
However, if you apply too much of the stain, it is possible to turn the wood completely white.
We hope that this helps.
Happy Painting!
Your ECOS Team
