We just been stung by easyjet. On a recent visit to malaga our bags would not fit in their steel box & we were hit with a £80 FINE. It was just the wheels on each case that prevented them from fitting. Easyjet says case sizes are clear on their web site, but why are so many travellers, much smarter & travel savvy than are being caught out?! This should of been a relaxing cheap break for us & we had to pay a further £16 to book the cases on for the return trip
Customer service is really bad the call centre advisors are rude. I changed my date to extend my stay so I paid a fee which is fine but i accidentally choose to wrong month. They are telling me I have to pay even more. Which is not fear at all, will not be flying with easy jet again.
Upon arrival at the gate in Crete Greece EasyJet employees charged €29 from everyone with an handbag/trolley although it's the standard size approved on their website!
This is a scandal, ashame for this airline to earn this way, many of the passengers protested, but they were threatening that they would just leave without us, we were forced to pay for 6 persons €174!
Funny thing is that when you paid you could take you trolly on board!

I had paid at my ticket for a second luggage, and because of the arrival at the president of Turkey, I didn't have time to leave my second luggage at the drop area because I would lose the flight. The streets were closed and we couldn't arrive earlier. At the time that I was passing the control they charged me extra 58 euros because I didn't leave my second luggage at the drop area. At the airport of Milan when I was going back in Greece, I saw that the they were taking the second luggage of the passengers at the time that they were entering the airplane, without extra charges. This is unfair for me. I have sent many emails at the company and they deny to give my money back.
I've been flying with Easyjet every time I am going to Europe and it used to be my favorite airline. However, it has gotten worse. Flights are delayed, sometimes they swith planes to comletely unknown subcontractors. Button line. Good airline but they need to improve their service. When I book Easyjet I want to fly Easyjet and not some unknown Airline which name I don't even remember anymore.
I am extremely honoured to come across such a true hardworking soul such as Doris today. My bad was returned today because of her hard work. It had my whole life in it as was accidentally taken on a flight back from Spain but due to her hard work it was returned to me. I couldn't be more grateful.
I bought a flight with easyjet but I couldn't take the flight. So I just asked for the refund of the airports taxes. Even after several requests, they wouldn't refund. And they said that they never pay any taxes to any airport, for example neither Barcelona nor Copenhagen!
Was sitting in one of the last rows on a flight from Lisbon to London recently and while cabin crew were having their break they were gossiping and laughing at passengers! SO unprofessional!
It was the first time I travelled with EasyJet and will definitely be the last. I do a lot of travelling with budget airlines and am used not to expect too much. I was travelling with multiple airlines Lauda motion, WizzAir and Easy jet to get to and from my destination. All of them have different luggage specifications which makes complying with all of them quite a nightmare. I had to book extra hold luggage, but had to sacrifice weight as one airline would only allow 20 KG and the other 23. To cut a long story short I wrongly assumed that I was allowed to bring one piece of handluggage and a small bag that would fit under the front seat. I admit this was my mistake as I didn't read the booking properly. So when arriving at the boarding gate I was charged 60 Euros for a small bag with app 2 KG weight. My handluggage was well within limits and fitted with ample space in the gauge. The EasyJet personnel was professional, and I thought that explaining the circumstances Easy jet would be willing to at least partially refund this abusive charge.
Wrong, it seems that this policy is part of their business model. I don't expect a special treatment, but some leeway will make customers happy and give the company good publicity. In this case they where far from customer friendly, and I will no longer fly with them.
We were pulled out of line at the Gate because this snarky young lady stated that our carry bags were too large. However, we were on the last leg of a three-leg flight and we were not made aware of our bags were oversized & she did not use the 'bag gauge' at the gate to prove her case. We had to pay an additional 116 Euros on the spot or miss our flight. I tried on several occasions to express our case but they will hear it! So no Europe this year and we will NOT be flying Easyjet again. Stay away from them.
I fly with easy jet. The staff smoke swaer. Drug use. My flights are delayed or cancelled. No accommodation. I has wait a sleep at the airport a week until I could get my flight to my holiday
For more years than I can recall, when flying, I always used Easyjet, even before I moved to North Cyprus (The Turkish side) on my retirement. That all changed when I was advised to fly from South Cyprus (The Greek side) because it was cheaper to get flights to the UK, for my holidays:-) Well, yes and no! Yes, generally the basic flights were cheaper, until Easyjet added an exorbitant amount on for your case, on-board food etc etc etc etc... I finally had enough when I was informed my cabin bag was too heavy. I was taking my two digital cameras and lens's because I was going to Isle of Man for the famous TT races (Check it out, as anyone who is into motor bikes and racing will be awestruck) If that wasn't bad enough, I was informed by one of the Easyjet staff that I was lucky they allowed me on the flight because I lived in the 'illegal North! Well, that was the final straw and 'the excrement' hit the fan as I exploded, telling her I would be making an official complaint! I also told the rude person in no uncertain terms what she could do with South Cyprus and in future Easyjet as well. So, I removed my two cameras from my cabin bag and told her to weigh it again. I then hung both cameras around my neck and walked away with a big smile on my face. Finally, let me tell you (And I'm not getting paid for this either) Turkish airlines live up to their name and are definitely the finest airline I have ever used with free on-board food and your comfort and well being paramount. Oh, and I also made an official complaint to the European ombudsman but like Easyjet, that was also a waste of time.
EasyJet has terrible customer service. Poor, Parrot fashion responses and a total lack of empathy for a bereaved family. Never again.
If you want your holidays to get spoiled even before it starts make sure you book ur flight with EasyJet. As the name suggest it's easy for them to do anything e. G rip you off for every single bag u carry, talk down to you like you are some kind of dust on the floor, no respect from ANY members of staff whether its ground staff or air crew just awful. I personally think it pains them so much to be pleasant to their passengers. The HR Dept has some serious reevaluation to do with their recruitment as this is not what customers expect or want to be treated after paying money for the service. Maybe their policies are cheap flight but also cheap service and they do follow that without fail. I have travelled so many countries but NEVER EVER encountered such rude and bad mannered staffs in my entire life. So appalled by the whole experience. My first time with easyjet but also my last time with them. I would rather pay more money and get the respect and service my whole family deserves. After the pandemic, one would think thank God they got their job back and now they will value and cherish that job and go above and beyond to keep the airline afloat and to succeed but blimey they are hell bent to do the opposite. They dont respect their own jobs so how can they respect their customers. I wouldn't be surprised if this airline gets a reputation of being tacky, cheap and disgustingly staffed. I am so shocked that I still cant believe how people like these lots got a job in the airline. Piece of advise for HR, put some more effort into screening your staffs when recruiting as they are meant to uplift and represent your brand not tarnish and bring it to the floor which let me tell you they are doing a fantastic job at that... for now airline to be avoided at any cost unless u like to be pushed around and mistreated
Be aware when returning from your holiday, at Burgas airport passport control I but my hold suitcase on scales, and off it went then to be told put cabin bag on scales,(thinking they must just be checking weight) I knew I was way under as I'd already weighed it, to suddenly find my bag tagged and sent of to hold, waving my passport and boarding card saying your bag to big for cabin I know it wasn't has I'd double checked that as well, my passport and boarding card was then passed on to another member of staff who said follow me I ended up paying 95 lev which was converted into euros to get my passport and boarding pass back

I thought this is a scam run by Bulgarian staff, but after reading reviews found it's happening all over the place. There's no email address to complain there Facebook site won't allow you to make comments you phone and are on hold indefinitely, so you have to write knowing that's going to be ignored, so you then after wait 28 days to escalate your complaint,
This as put me off flying altogether now. The hassle of being told I had to download my boarding pass then told this airport does not do digital boarding, flight then cancelled had to confirm another flight or I would not get home and then flight delayed for 2hrs,
I blow hot and cold with easyjet. They do fly to many places that I like to travel to, but I really dont like the hidden costs.

What a crap service they provide their delayed customers. Today my daughter arrives at Bristol airport for a 2130 flight to Edinburgh. The earlier Easy Jet flight left around the same time as she got into the airport. He friend reported that that earlier flight was NOT full. 10 minute after the departure they announced the 2130 flight was delayed 3 hrs!.
Many people on the 2130 flight could have been put on the earlier flight!
Of course it wasn't announced straight away that the delay was 3 hrs-that would have meant that their compensation vouchers would have had to be given out immediately. Guess what... there were NO EASYJET staff anywhere in the departure zone for more than 2 hrs. Then these staff arrived to give out their vouchers... all of £3 (yes. Three pounds sterling). Of course by then all the shops that would have offered something were CLOSED!. In fact what could you get for £3?
I understand that Easyjet is a so called Budget airline but that shouldn't allow them to completely disregard their customers for hours and bring in useless vouchers (that have to be used within 48hrs!)... they could have taken a kettle and some nescafe and biscuits... that would have been better customer service... and the evening goes on as she is still waiting for the promised flight!
The reason I write this is that the very same thing happened to me with EasyJet at the same airport for the same flight...! Who is kidding who?
Lets hope she gets home tonight!
Easjet flight ESY 8664, 02/06/16 Alicante to London Gatwick ETD 1625 cancelled by Easyjet at 0700 due, supposedly, by French Air Traffic Controllers action although no other Flights at Alicante cancelled. Also, the same flight the week before using the same excuse. Easyjet say NO refund at all as it wasn't their fault! So what about the money they have also saved by not operating the Flight ie Fuel, Airport charges, etc? To say the least, sharp practice if not downright dishonesty. Where is ATOL or the CAA?
This airline is a complete shambles!
We arrived at the airport, our flight was delayed for 30 mins,
We then boarded the plane, when we were all seated the captain mentioned there would be a SHORT DELAY, due to the tyre needing looked at (which we now know this was just the excuse for not having enough staff for our flight) we sat in the plane for another hour then the captain came back with the real reason why we hadn't moved " we are waiting on new cabin crew coming to the plane and we can't find them! They're in the airport somewhere so please bear with us!) Really professional. NOT!
After 3 hours of sitting on the plane we were then informed that they have found the cabin crew. Cabin crew entered the plane to applause from everyone, however this little bit of joy was not too last. After 5 hours we taxied getting ready for take off then the plane engines stopped and we were informed that our flight was being cancelled! We were then taken from the plane and led through everyone that were awaiting to board other flights like refugees it was embarrassing, when we got to the Swiss port info desk we were then told that easyjet do not have an information desk at the airport anymore, so there was no easyjet rep to explain anything! We were then led to the luggage retrieval belt to wait on our luggage which took a further 2 hours to come out, whilst waiting I noticed young children crying and elderly people so tired and stressed out lying in corners deflated. We were informed by the easyjet app that our whole holiday had been cancelled and we can apply for a full refund (which I'm still awaiting on) and we could claim for compensation. This is were the plot thickens. We got home after 12 hours of stress the next morning I filled in a claim for compensation only to be told a day later that we our not entitled to any because the plane was grounded due to damage on the tyre! Well if that was the case why leave us on damaged plane for 5 hours?
This is easy jets legal loophole to get away without paying out compensation claims.
I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH EASYJET AGAIN. And I sincerely hope they go bust because in my opinion this company are just about greed, making as much money as they possibly can without a thought of the stress and anxiety that they put hard working families that have promised their kids a great holiday only to have that dream shattered.
Easyjet you are a disgrace and I hope that someone/group challenge these unscrupulous people in court.
