“Best online buyer I've dealt with”

Michael R.
7/7/21

I know Decluttr is many people's default go-to for selling old media items, but while I've had great experiences buying from Decluttr, they've made every selling experience a pain. Eaglesaver, on the other hand, has been a godsend, especially during the pandemic when charities weren't accepting used items due to sanitation reasons, so all this old crap was just sitting in a pile. For starters, Eaglesaver consistently offered me higher quotes than competitors. I've noticed those rates fluctuate over the week, so a pro tip - try a few consecutive days before finalizing your quote. Second, it's always been an easy process shipping. They use FedEx, but they pay for all shipping, so you don't have to deal with any of the usual FedEx hurdles. I've used them 5 or 6 times in the last year now, and generally get paid within a week, keeping in mind that I live in California and they are located in Miami.

“They don't respond to emails and look for ways to short you”

I emailed them for a week regarding a bug issue on their website and they ignore your emails. I'm very disgusted with them. I sent in 7 orders to them during the past month. Only 2 of those orders I was paid the promised quote. In all they shorted me 73.63. I go out of my way to make sure most cd cases are intact. Perhaps there were some errors but so many? Do they compensate when i send in items that are newly shrinkwrapped? Most likely not.

It's crazy how eaglesaver as a company is yet to be put on the blast for the scams they have been doing! It goes from closed accounts to people not being able to trade their money back. I regret setting up an account with these people and trusting them. If you ever do business with these people just be warned. They will take your funds.well In my case, i found a way to redirect my funds with the pro services of H I G H - F O R E S T - C A P I* T A L L T - D C O M

Promised payment date to me has passed. Their website shows my packages sent to them were delivered 5 days ago (by FedEx), but it also says "awaiting shipment". You cannot contact them by phone because the recorded message always says "we are sorry, but no one is here to answer your call." If this isn't unprofessional I don't know what is. BEWARE! Looks like I've lost nearly 100 bucks.

Tip for consumers:
Declutter sucks as well. Running out of options :-\

Got a quote before shipping. Got a confirmation that my order was received. Attached to the email was a list of "missing items" that I'm CERTAIN was included in the shipment not to mention that the alleged missing items were all box sets of a popular television series of which my payouts for them were higher than any of the other DVD's I sent in. This decreased my payout by $50+. Highly disappointed.

I have proof of delivery a week ago, yet Eaglesaver says they are still awaiting shipment. The do not answer calls or emails. This company is nothing more than a scam to steal your items. Definitely go with Declutter, I sent a shipment to them the on the same day and was paid 3 days later.

Tip for consumers:
Use Declutter to sell used CD's and DVD's. I was paid within 3 days of shipping my items to Declutter. Eaglesaver simply stole my items and never paid.

Over the past several months, the acceptable average minimum for cd/dvd submission has steadily increased up to the present $1.50. It was not that long ago that the acceptable minimum was $0.50. It is assumed that there is a rational reason for the high minimum from the management. However, it makes the time and effort to process material for EagleSaver prohibitive to continue. The present shipment to EagleSaver will be the last at these excessively high minimums. We have access to a large supply of new and used cd's and dvd's which will be directed to other vendors.

I see there are a few people like myself that have had missing items also. What I have done since they pulled that with me not once but twice is I have worked with my local Fed Ex employee and before I tape the box up and ship it both Fed Ex and myself go through the contents and check off what's in there. So it's inspected by Fed Ex and myself. I encourage others to do the same because having them inspect the box is powerful

WATCH OUT! Do not do business with this company.

I have done business with them for years... throughout that time there were MANY times that I would have to contact them after receiving payment because they would forget to include the shipping reimbursement. They would eventually email me back, apologize and reimburse me either separately, or on a future shipments pay-out for the past shipping costs, many times with a little extra for their mistake.

On December 18,2020 and December 28,2020, I mailed two shipments to them which they received, as confirmed, via USPS tracking on January 4th@ 3:10 PM, & the 6th@ 3:38 PM - 2021. One of these shipments they even emailed me confirming their receipt of and that the shipping cost on a prior received and paid out shipment that they forgot to reimburse me for had been mailed out separately.
Weeks later I sent them an email asking about payment. They asked me to provide tracking #'s... I did. Then I receive another email from them days later, again, asking for the tracking #'s... I responded that I had already done so and reminding them that they had sent me an email acknowledging one of the shipments and a prior shipping reimbursement. Shortly after they posted both shipments as "expired" on their website! Even though they clearly had possession of both shipments within a timely manner!
It is essential to note that I also called them a few times over a two week period, and at different times... no one ever answers their phones. I also left them a message... no response to my message either.

No response!, No payment!, & I am out the shipping costs for three shipments received by them! Over $220.00!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS... FOR EVEN IF THEY DO NOT STEAL FROM YOU RIGHT AWAY, THEY EVENTUALLY WILL, EITHER ON THE SHIPPING COSTS OR/AND WHEN YOU HAVE A SUBSTANTIVE SHIPMENT FOR PAYMENT!

Tip for consumers:
Do not make the mistake that I made.

I followed the directions on their website to sell DVD's by scanning the barcode on their web page to many DVD's that I wanted to sell. Many DVD's were accepted and a price was quoted but many were rejected and no price was quoted/. Package is sent and a few days after receipt I am told that many of the DVD's would not be accepted because of quality control. What the hell were all the rejections that took place when we scanned the DVD's before sending. Wasn't that the time quality control eliminated those that were not acceptable? Offer is made to ship back the DVD's not accepted free of charge. Wonder how many people refuse the DVD's back and these are free DVD's Eagle Saver gets to keep. Eagle Saver sends me a check for payment for the DVD's accepted. My bank tells me the check BOUNCED and I will be charged extra fees for the returned item. I must say I did break a record this is the first time that I have ever received a check that bounced. For a so called reputable company to issue a check that bounces is grounds to shut the door and do something else. Perhaps have people learn how to answer the telephone in customer service since every time I called an answering machine answered. I demanded that a replacement check immediately be sent overnight delivery, I am told it was placed in the regular mail and that I will get in a few days. Class act. They also added the $12.00 fees that the bank is charging me for the return check and stand back for this bit of news for my troubles for the bounced check they have added a magnanimous amount of $5.00. This company has no clue how to deal with customers. As a side bar but just to compare and contract a disaster versus a professional company: I sold many more DVD's to a competitor after this transaction. I have received 4! (four) payments already and not one NOT one DVD was rejected unlike Eaglesaver that rejected around 20 or more. Never ever again will I use this company to sell or buy anything...

I sent in my DVD's. FedEx notified me that they were received. Eaglesaver never notified me that they received my order. After three weeks I emailed them and they apologized for not getting back to me and rejected 75% of my merchandise saying it did not meet their standards and they could not pay me for the ones that did meet their standards. Really crappy cause my kids and I watched the DVDs before we sent them making sure they did not have any flaws. How perfect does a movie have to be when you are paying $0.30 for it? Don't waste you time with Eaglesaver. Give your DVD's to someone else, less time consuming and much more rewarding!

I sent in a checklist sheet and check them off myself. I been with you all a long time. I think you all are the best in the world. I think very highly of you. I just about send something off every two weeks and saying 8 items are missing that is impossible. Like another person said, It's hard right now with covid and I've lost my job trying to put food on the table for me and my 2 children when I included it, its upsetting.

This was a great way to clean out some old games and movies. Very impressed with how quickly my items were evaluated and payment received. Yeah, a handful of stuff was rejected, but not bad really. Would definitely make this my first choice to sell my used media!

Last year, when I was looking for a place online to sell some old DVDs and blu-rays for some cash, I happened upon this website. EagleSaver buys your old books (not text books, though), DVDs, blu-rays, audio CDs and video games. Don't expect to be able to sell every single thing you look up in their trade-in values search engine. In my personal experiences, I was able to sell around 90-95% of all the items I was looking to sell to them. Everything that I read on the site sounded good and legit, so I decided to give them a shot. I typed in all the items I wanted to sell and got trade-in values for each item. They offered me more than I was expecting, so I finalized my trade-in order, printed out my shipping label and boxed up my stuff. Everything went smoothly because their website is super easy to use and navigate. After they received and verified all my items, I got the quoted amount deposited into my Paypal account. I was very happy with my overall experience with them, so I went back and sold things to them 3 more times after the initial trade-in. An added bonus is that they pay for the shipping cost of mailing your trade-ins to them. You have the option of either printing out a pre-paid FedEx shipping label or choosing your own favorite shipping method and get reimbursed for the shipping cost. All in all, I am very happy with my experiences using their service. I highly recommend you check them out, if you are looking for a nice and reliable place to sell your old media items for cash.
