After playing their stupid games for more than 20 years, I get a random "verification" for an email that doesn't exist anymore. It hasn't existed for more than a decade. I'm completely locked out of playing any EA game. And of course there is no help whatsoever in resolving this. I guess it's my fault for continuing to spend money in a company that clearly does not give a damn. I've learned my lesson. $#*! this stupid company and every single person that works there.
If I could leave a lower rating I would because Electronic Arts consistently and habitually prioritizes profit over any other business, game development, or moral responsibilities. If you ever plan to play any of their mediocre game you are required to have an EA account in order to access any online features which would not be a problem on its own if Electronic Arts did not routinely disable accounts without warning removing any online functions from their games as well as any future EA games to be released or bout out.
EA forced user's to upgrade to their EA game App. And now the games I have been purchasing since 2017, I can not play. I will be looking for a refund for all my games that I have purchased. I tried talking to someone in Cambodia and he was at a lost of what to do so he just hung up on me. EA games should take care of their faithful customers or they are going to be bankrupt very soon!
Please save yourself the headache and dont buy anything from this company. If there is a physical copy of a game that you really like then go that route and dont look back but do not try to do anything online with them, they will rob you and tell you its not on their end and thats really all about it no matter what you try.
Doesnt work 100% of the time. Takes me 40 minutes to play anything. Says it can be "offline" but thats just a straight lie. Needs to verify by connecting to internet prior to offline play. Can't open my disk games without opening this stupid online only app. Sucks. Hate it. Complete $#*!. Fix it.
Really annoyed, sat on the chat for support for a problem with my game for an hour and a half before someone was able to talk to me, and then that person clearly didn't know what they were doing and switched me over to another guy who told me to download something that will after downloading "stop the problem forever". Bare in mind i had to then sit and wait for this download to finish for 1 hour for it to not work. Completely disappointed. And no way am i going to sit through the queue again to talk to someone else who will most likely not help with my problem.
EA products were ones of the best since the very childhood for me - loved playing their games. But the recent Preorder and "we made it a beta - test it and lose user experience" tactics are making me sad... This is an unknown outcome in the end - the games are still made kinda good but together with those you receive some serious frustration at the start. 4/5 yet.
I'm just thankful to the company for childhood, starting from their NFS video games series, ending with the Sims which I also admired playing back in the days.
Unfortunately, they have stepped away from the development of the NFS and that's a pity, cuz these guys really knew how to create remarkable videogames.
I wish I had at least one opportunity to play some video games from them which would be of the same quality, with the same thrilling plot and awesome cast as it was two decades ago.
Ordering with this shop is convenient. The latest EA sport games are here at my place right when I want them because of fast delivery and convenient way of cooperation. Recommend using this service for all those game fans around!
Problem downloading an expansion to the Sims 3 which I had previously successfully downloaded on the same laptop with EA App. This expansion had been originally bought 7 years ago and would only list as 'preparing' when I tried to download it.
I had been writing to EA Customer Service for a month (extremely slow replies) when they finally agreed to verify my account through email. I didn't receive the email so I asked for another.
No reply, so I try to open the 4th case (for the same issue) only to not be able to explain the issue again because I have to fill out a questionnaire stating if I've tried all the self-help fixes - which I have. I reply none of them work and it auto tells me that I have a problem with my internet provider. Which I do not, and makes no sense to reach that conclusion from my responses to the questionnaire.
A very strange company that doesn't care about their players. I can't unlink my PS account from EA, while there is no way to contact technical support - they send this question to the forum!?
As a result, it's easier for me to just abandon their game, since I'm not a fan of them, than to break through stupid obstacles.
They are so unbelievably greedy, but of course you had the freedom to not buy the extras they were pushing. Now they force you to use their app which never works, or only downloads part of your game, is constantly down and won't let you play off line. How is it legal for someone to own a product that they bought on Steam or some other site and have another company stop them from using it. They have destroyed gaming pleasure for thousands, they buy up great small creative companies and destroy them. Don't take my word for it, just go search on feeling about EA and it is pretty unanimous. I have uninstalled games I really love rather than deal with their app. All the people complaining need to boycott them as they only care about money.
I hate the day Orgins switched to EA everytime i turn around its logging me out of games needing updates. Ive lost hour of gameplay since the switch and now have to save my progress every 30 mins. And forget contacting anyone for help please bring back origins so i can play in peace.
By the far the worst experience I've ever had with a gaming app. I'd happily delete it if it weren't the only way to play some of my favorite games, though I can barely play them in the first place. Constantly has something going wrong with it to the point it feels like it has the constitution of an upper-class victorian woman with tuberculosis. My wi-fi is spotty so it's a good thing it has an offline mode! Except, oh, wait, that doesn't work either. The 'keep me logged in' button is apparently just for show, seeing how I literally have to re-log-in every 5 minutes. I recently bought a game on Steam thinking I'd finally have a good gaming experience but then found out that it HAS TO launch through EA and I haven't been able to so much as start it. If you can get your games through literally any other app I recommend doing so, I have spent a frustrating amount of hours just trying to get EA to open properly, let alone run a game. Not recommened at all.
They sell games that don't function but never issue refunds. This has happened to me a number of times. They can't even support the Sims anymore, but will still charge you 20$ an expansion pack, and not refund you a dime if none of them work.

They dont care about their customers, just their money, when they have moeny nothing matters... The have broken games, broken servers and worst ToS team ive ever seen... They want to be "open minded" and "liberal" but they just censor everything and put "new world problem" everywhere... And you get perma banned for writing a word thats wrong for them...(funny that they got this written on mirages bag LOL xd, hypocrites)
I recommend to everyone to run as fast as they can from this company, also from Smart tree. I've been an employee and worked "legally" in contract for 3 months! And they didn't pay me, they kept promising me that this is how it is with a new employer and stuff.
They treat me really bad there, in the first interview nobody showed up. The lead of the team was getting all the fruits because he was putting the team to do his job and their tasks as well, so we did double work. I hope somebody from E.A. Will read this and take attitude! I want my money for the time worked! This is slavery, and also I want to mention the fact, that they promised me something and in contract it wasn't mentioned..
EA clearly fired their in-house customer support in favor of a 3rd party chat company that is wildly unsupported, uninformed, and unable to assist customers. I feel bad for the chats they must receive by frustrated customers. They've basically made it impossible to recover old accounts by any means, destroying the chances of people with connected accounts of being able to use said accounts properly. The fact that this issue has been an issue for years and EA doesn't care to try to resolve says plenty about how little they care for their customers. They should be embarrassed.
As of around a week ago, my account got hacked into and resulted in my Apex account being banned. I contacted them about this, and even though I had no possible way to prevent the account from being banned. They refused to help me with this matter saying that the "account has violated our User Agreement" and that they won't remove the sanction placed on my account.
The advisor is always claiming to be trying his best to help, but no matter what I asked or answered, no typed words respond. Every time I open the live chat, the advisor was just spamming the same sentences even after I asked him politely to stop spamming and just answer some simple questions. I want to describe my situation so he can help, but he always interrupted me by sending the same sentence I've seen other advisors sent me before. I think maybe it is not their fault since they may have a really bad day and just don't want to type words. But since this is customer support, unfortunately I have to give 1-star rating for got harassed by chat spamming and no help received. Sorry about that.
Answer: Impossible, but if you do they're useless and give you a number of impossible tasks and hoops to jump through.
Answer: I like apex legends otherwise I'd never touch an EA game ever again. They make me sick!
Answer: They're a scam, they rob you blind! And then kick you from their servers because someone else hacked your account.
