It's in the fine print. They look so legit! I submitted my card information and then I realized that they're not at all affiliated with the DMV! Now I need to call them and refuse the charge. There's no option for a reimbursement on their site either.
So I was waiting for my photo card and now in these hard times with no work, no current income it seems I also have no current drivers license! I am sickened that your employees or employee can sleep at night charging people $30.50 for nothing. How can this happen? I think this site needs to be shut down, I will be sending everyone who will listen a complaint starting but the better business Bureau, pa Department of transportation and my local and state representatives.
These people are extremely deceitful, they know what they are doing is wrong, but they continue to rip people off. Google needs to do a better job of eliminating this type of website from their search engine. Call them and demand your money back. They don't seem to like it when you threaten to contact the better business bureau.
You got got for $5 dollars. Calmly call. They will refund your money. They're going to run you through it. It took me 6 minutes. I stayed calm and just said no thank you to all his "roadside assistance" & "$100 value cards".
Just eat the $5 dollars and be done with it.
I'm another victim of this site as well along with the others here. I thought it was the same dmv site. Typed my info in. Got charged $3.99. I reported it to my card company immediately after because I was confused after I got the "guideline" BS. So no more money has been taken out of my card thankfully. I'm just worried about identity theft. I don't want them stealing my ssn or DL number. Anyone else have this concern?
I fell for it too but after seeing all of these reviews I see I'm not the only one. I called an 800# number I saw in someones review and spoke with a man with a very strong accent but he was polite and said they offer refunds (stop the second charge of $21) but the $3.99 is not refundable because it's a service charge for making a purchase online. I didn't have the time or strength to argue. He gave me a confirmation number and said I'll receive an email confirming it's been cancelled.
Ridiculous. This isn't the first time I've had problems making purchases online and probably not the last it's just a shame it happened while trying to renew my drivers license smh.
I also was tricked into thinking I was ordering a duplicate license. I was charged $4.99, then several days later $9.99 and the $21.99 charge was declined by my card because Capitol one recognized it as a fraudulent charge. I called and demanded a refund which they claim will take 7-10 business days. Now I'm thinking I need to cancel my card...
This website will not just steal money from you but will also steal your identity. The hassle and calling the banks, Credit Agencies, Police and Social Security is too much. The least of the worry was the 20.99$ +3.99$. Everything else were just worrisome trainwrecks!
My experience was exactly the same as another reviewers here was, I thought I was renewing my driver's license (Michigan) and somehow got redirected and you're driving in fall charge my credit card 3 times (so far). One charge for $3 one for $3.99 and one for $21.99 - my driver's license wasn't renewed through the state at all and I didn't receive anything from this site.
I was redirected to yourdrivinginfo.org with out knowing I thought i was paying for my DL. They charge my card 3.99 then 21.99 I am disputing through my bank and have cancel my debt card. My bank said they processed the charges through some movie rental site. So I guess the DMV is not beyond hackers!
Was trying to save time and renew online. Thought I was on legit site to renew my license. I was not. They asked for my credit card info. Then redirected me to print off forms. I called there number *******716. Talked to a foreign speaking person. Had to emphasize my issue twice. Why did you charge me 25. O8 cents if I was going to have to send forms for renewal. She said there were extra benefits, like road side service, etc. Dammit, I did not want any of that stuff only a renewal. She said we offered refugees ds. I will refund you 21.98. I said no you will not. I paid 25.98. She tried to say that was processing g fees. I said I wNt to speak to a supervisor right now and you are a scam. She said for this one time she would issue full amt. This is a tot scam. I'm not sure what is going on.
Make Sure You are on your states official site before you renew your driver's license! Been renewing my license and auto tags online for the last 10-15 years and this is the first time I got scammed by this website. After getting a notice in mail marked from FLHSMV for renewing my Florida driver license with all the accurate license number, Name and address on it, went to gorenew and like others was charged $3.99 than $21.99 on debit card. After the bank notified me of these 2 suspicious charges, I, canceled my debit card. Hope these people go to jail.
Make sure that you CHECK THE SITE as they have figured out how to redirect you when you are trying to get to your state driver's license to renew! They will scam you and charge your card for some sort of "guide!"
WHY did I not research this website first? What a RIP OFF! Went to renew my drivers license and was sent to this website which seemed legit. Had no idea. First was charged 3.99 for some manual and thought well they got me, lesson learned. Then the next day seen a charge for 19.99! Immediately googled and found these reviews. Man this was pretty good. I never even thought twice. Anyway on the bright side if there is one, it was easy to get refunded.
Went online to reinstate my state license and this site came from Google search. Misrepresented itself has providing this service; it does not. Fraud in advertising and fraud in services. Even misleading as being a ". Org". Violates the Federal Deceptive Trade Practices Act. DO NOT USE!
Just adding my voice to this scam site. Hopefully, if enough people complain something will be done. I'm going to be credit monitoring on my son. Has anybody had any problems other than the original rip-off?
Once again this is a website that purports to help you renew or replace your drivers license (which actually only the driver is allowed to do in person at the DMV). They require the unsuspecting individual many sensitive questions that have nothing to do with your license, such as what car you drive, what is your education, your address, your cell phone number, etc. At best this is trolling for your personal information to sell it to marketing companies. At worst it sets the stage for identity theft. When you check Whois about their site, all their administrative and technical contacts are blocked by proxy. You cannot see who they really. BEWARE.

People looking to renew their drivers license online this website seems up come up first in the search results. They'll happily take your personal information and your money without providing a drivers license. But in fine print they mention they are selling you a guide on how to renew your license. Like anyone would need that. The guide should say watch out for fraudulent sites trying to steal your hard earned money and make sure your DL renewal website address ends in. GOV!
This is a rip off, and totally misleading.
But, you can call them up and tell them your want the charges cancelled. Don't let them get away with charging the processing fee, they will cancel that as well if you push.
I hate companies like this that mislead consumers.
Please pay close attention when trying to renew your drivers license. Somehow I got directed to this scam website. Charged my credit card $3.99 on day one and then $21.99 two days later. I am concerned that I put my card numbers in and they have them so I am going to get a new credit card. I called and demanded both charges be credited and told them they should be ashamed of themselves for having a website that tricks you into thinking they are the true state DMV. They said they will credit both but only after I demanded it be done. I will admit that I should have paid closer attention but this is purposeful deceit. GOOGLE YOU NEED TO REMOVE SCAM SITES LIKE THIS. I AM GOING TO START USING OTHER SEARCH ENGINES BECAUSE GOOGLE IS OUT OF CONTROL.
Answer: Call the 1800 number on their site and demand a refund. I did and they cancelled the transaction and my subscription'. You can also dispute the charge with your credit card company
Answer: Oddly enough, on their "Terms and Condition" page, at the very top in red it reads: "Please Note: CLASS ACTION WAIVER section contains a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver. It affects your rights about how to resolve any dispute with Texas DLP." When you go down to the CLASS ACTION WAIVER section it reads, "THE PARTIES WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO ASSERT ANY CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER PARTY AS A REPRESENTATIVE OR MEMBER IN ANY CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH WAIVER IS PROHIBITED BY LAW OR DEEMED BY A COURT OF LAW TO BE AGAINST PUBLIC POLICY." Guess they've been to that rodeo before and they know that most think they are a trusted site and "click away" on those "terms and conditions" check boxes. But I still say it doesn't give them the right to defraud everyone into thinking they are getting a license renewal. You know the State of Texas Government is aware of this ---- but it is amazing that it can be allowed to continue. I feel our government doesn't want to get their hands dirty because there are too many protections in place for fraud businesses like this. Right under our noses, and we can't even prosecute because of all their "civil liberties". This is when our fear of big brother brutality has tied his hands behind his back. In other countries, they wouldn't be allowing this, which is why they are here.
