I have been using their services for a few years now and their site is intuitive, they give fast answers and I never had a problem. I am very pleased with Dreamstime.
I took the bait of getting a free subscription for a month. 5 free pictures to download. After a month without notifying me that the subscription is renewing they took money from my credit card and said that if I downloaded photos in the free period they have to charge me and cannot refund my money. They are a bunch of thieves stay far away from their subscription plans. They trick people. They don't notify you when they are about to take your money just so as to be sure you forgot and there is nothing you can do.
They scam you by offering you a free trial, but then debit your credit card on a monthly basis without making their intentions clear. Worst of all is they make the credits that you pay for expire after a short time, so you pay them for nothing basically.
They are total fraud. Advertised as free promo account and charge me full 1 month fee for without even me knowing or confirming registration... they misused the credit card info provided. Phone number on their site is also fraud. From depth of my soul wish people owning this site and working here all see lots of pain and suffering in their life for stealing my hard earned money.
Please be aware when you sign up for the monthly subscription any transferable downloads you have accumulated are void if you cancel the plan. I paid 75 usd over three months and all my downloads -I had accumulated over 15 -were disabled when i withdrew from the plan. Total rip off and very unfair!
As a contributor of images to this site I highly recommend NOBODY ever entrust them with your images! They refuse to take down images when you want to close out your account. Read their terms and conditions carefully, they are very, very unethical.
DO NOT GIVE ANY BANKING INFORMATION TO THIS WEBSITE!
They withdrew money from my account twice without authorization and now refuse to refund it!
I did not sign up for an account or authorize any withdrawals. I never provided my banking information. Dreamstime is supporting fraud and theft!
Do not trust this site!
Keep billing my credit card! Cancelled trial, but keep getting billed. Horrible customer service! No one apparently knows what's going on (maybe by design) DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD! You will deeply regret it!
Vedo da altre recensioni (clienti) che sono in buona compagnia, però si comportano male anche con i fotografi collaboratori. Fotografi, caricate altrove le vostre immagini
A couple months ago, I bought their smallest package (like 15 credits for 20$) just to download 1 photo from them but I was supposed to have 10 credits left available to download other photos. When I came back on the site recently, my account was deactivated! Tried then to change password but I never received their e-mail to reset it. Sent them a message to their support center about it and they replied that I would have to give them a photo of my driver's license for "security"! Seriously!?!?! O_O
Who asks that? This company just want to rip you off in any way possible, stay away!
Not clear policy! Is hard to cancel and they renew your subscription automatically and even worse is not a 30 days trial, they charge me at 28 days and didnt refund me the money. Horrible customer service. There is no way to cancel online, you have to call. Garbage company
Absolute garbage. I wanted to download some photos from here using the Google Docs extension. After trying to download an image, it prompted me sign up. For real? And then I saw the pricing and oh my goodness it was unbelievable. Their pricing is ridiculous. I highly recommend to NOT use this for photos. Very expensive and along with other people said: terrible service and very fishy business tactics!
Refund policy is a scam, obviously just a ploy to hope people forget they signed up for an account and charge them extra money. Sleazy schemes like this deserve bad press.
Definitely did NOT get my money's worth. Forgot that my subscription for 750 downloads was about to expire, and when I checked it a few days after it expired, Dreamstime said that there was nothing they could do. I downloaded SEVEN photos. Yep. Seven. Biggest waste of money ever. :( Totally my mistake, but it seems like customer service could have done SOMETHING to help out. Nope. Not helpful at all. :(
I was charged from this website when I didn't even sign up for the website. I told customer service about my information being stolen. They won't refund my money. I will have to get my bank involved. I would definitely not recommend!
I needed just a single, royalty free picture. I had to sign up and when I did, suddenly the picture had an undesirably high price. Now I can't figure out a way to close the account. Stay away from this site!
I wish I could give them negative stars, because I dont even feel like giving them one! They make you think you purchase 10 images, later you find out you suscribed 10 images a month! Very bad customer service as well! The supervisor stareted screaming at me when I asked if I could at least get credit fot the 6 month 39$ a mont paid, if they can't return my money. So he was screeming at me that absolutely not... I could write a full page, but it wont change anything... I just recomend to use other company where is better customer service...
Like other reviewers, I was charged $125 in unauthorized charges over 5 months, even though I paid with Paypal. I only purchased credits and NEVER signed up for a monthly service. (Seriously, I would have noticed!) Avoid them or at least use a prepaid card!
Ridiculous scam. I bought their $17 dollar package that said I could download "15 images for 15 credite". And then I found out the photo I wanted was "15 credits" and guess what that meant? Only ONE photo. Now I have to cancel my credit card because no doubt this scam site will "automatically renew" and charge me again. STAY AWAY!
