This is happened to me many times now: I have ordered online and booked to be delivered on Sunday - Guest what: "Sorry You Missed your delivery": The Driver called GARETH - just took a photo of "outside random gate wall" and claimed - he tried to deliver: Deliver to the gate wall? Yeah right. Unfortunately for me, no option to send my parcel to local pick up shop - and from what I remembered from previous experiences: no matter which date I choose - they will just said " Sorry Missed your delivery" like a vicious cycle - the parcel ended up return back to the seller because they said "Sorry Missed your delivery": wasting my time, wasting my money, ruined my plan. Well I am not surprise they will keep continue doing it, we as customer will continue to suffer.
Absolute absolute joke from the beginning to the end (which has not occured yet as my parcel is not being delivered). Called muliple times as my parcel was not arriving, each time I was being given contradictory information. Sometimes you are being given contradictory information from the same person during a single call ("the delivery is set up for tomorrow" then 30sec later "it is not sure that the parcel will arrive tomorrow"), and when you ask for precisions they get ANGRY and they HANG UP like WTF man? I have even been told several times that they can not promise that the parcel will arrive in case the driver has an accident or the truck breaks down? It must be a prank, that is the only rationnal explanation to this absolute mess. I hate you DPD, you are evil and deserve to go bankrupt. The entire customer service should be fired. I wish I could put 0 stars, maybe even negative stars.

Extremely unprofessional service. Doesn't deliver on time. FOUR consecutive FAILED attempts. Customer service is also appalling. Drivers are extremely lazy, and to "prove" they delivered, they'll take a photo of the outside of building without bothering to come in. They've even taken pics of the inside of my building meaning they couldn't be bothered to walk ONE flight of stairs. Customer service also doesn't take delivery instructions even when they say they did and drivers don't bother looking at instructions. PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
Parcel suddenly marked as delivered. I was home, but no delivery to me. No card left. Parcel probably stolen. I officially give up on online ordering when I have no control over who delivers.
Company has really gone downhill over the past few months (my experience). There was a time when I used to rate DPD the highest, they are now the lowest out of all courier services in my estimations.
My poor experience was mainly down to the drivers. Disregard of safe place specified, little or no attempt to ring the doorbell or knock the door. To then be told my parcel will be left in a safe place? What is the point in making effort to specify a safe place, paying premium for delivery and express delivery. To then have to collect yourself... defeats the purpose of paying for express delivery right?
This experience has happened to me once and also my wife once, over the course of this month and December last year. Customer service reps offer zero help and no resolution or assurances. More of a "can't do anything about it" attitude. No effort or assurance to escalate as an official complaint, even when prompted and asked to.
Have no issue with any other courier. They always leave in the specified safe place or make a real effort to knock, ring and wait at door. The only time myself and my wife have ever had to collect, is with DPD.
Delivery driver stole my phone then signed for it himself. Got a notification of delivery at midnight saying delivered at 16.00?! Customer services about as useful as a chocolate teapot!

Yesterday however ie 11th July, I received an email FIVE mins before the expected delivery stating: "Your driver won't be able to come back today as they cover a wide area on a tight schedule, but we'll be back with your parcel TOMORROW". My response is that if it's logistically not possible to deliver, don't make false promises & then send an email at the 11th hour to say a delivery won't be made when I have WAITED for my package. I also tried contacting their Customer Service using various methods ie calling them (initially 17th in queue, then they disconnected the call as they'd closed) & via WhatsApp, as chat is bot-operated, was unable to make any headway.
Poor communication to customers.
Their customer care is very unhelpful when you call. If a driver's car breaksdown, there is no backup so that work can carry on.

You driver in the above van delivered to my next door neighbour a short moment ago today At 14.18pm.
Instead of turning on her drive he decided to try and reverse on my drive, very badly, he subsequently decided run over and destroy an established shrub and completely flatten is angle iron supports and then continue to leave tyre tracks over my kept lawn adjoining my drive. I find his behaviour totally unacceptable and totally unnecessary as both drives are plenty big enough to turn a small lorry on!
I now have to replace my shrub, it's posts and repair the lawn to my acceptable standards.
Your drivers actions were totally blatant with a total disregard of people's property. Watch and listen to the ring cctv video! Hear the bang knocking over the posts! The driver did not even stop to look!
Reported via your customer service many times, no one can be bothered to get in contact although confirming my email, phone number etc several times… Shocking customer service
There are no positive facts to mention. Packages get lost in depot. No response by email on questions. Not possible to access your parcel in the depot. Customer service give faulty tracking info.
I keep asking DPD to leave my parcels to be left in a secure location for over 4 months. The company sending my parcels have done the same.

I'm very unhappy with dpd they are not perfect on them work what they doing i order something and delivery driver he didn't cnock on my door he just lying and he take my parcel near too Post Office near my house and he didn't let on my door scan code later and when I contact them they just playing and I can't pick up my parcel with out that don't use dpd is very bad working
Yesterday driver didn't deliver. He was on the phone, supposedly couldn't find the place(hello, gps, google maps, 2022!), I told him I'll be down in a minute, saw him from the balcony, when I got out he was gone, wouldn't respond to my calls or text messages. Utterly unprofessional, useless, should be sacked asap! For things to be worse he marked the parcel as 'refused, contact name not recognized' - utter and complete lie and nonsense!
Another incident, just before Christmas, they once again 'attempted' only 1 delivery, instead of giving it another try they've sent it MILES away from my place to a collection point so I had to waste hours getting there! The message was 'we're saving CO2 by not delivering again' or something daft like that. Your job is to deliver, not to save CO2 by not delivering, another nonsense and absolute scam to save money, they couldn't care less about the customers or environment!
To add insult to injury, customer service absolutely USELESS. A chat bot, no one to complain to really. They might as well change their name to Hermes II - DPD - failing to deliver, that's the only thing they're good at! Disgrace, shame on you!
Worse company ever!
Missed delivery and was told had to collect parcel would not re deliver item poor customer service as not able to collect so now have lost parcel and money i paid for it.
Appalling company.
My family had a delivery yesterday. The driver got angry when my daughter in law asked him to leave the parcel outside the front door in order to sterilise it - coronavirus. She did not want to take it from his hands.
He raged with lots of obscene language, kicked the parcel around, then spat at the windows with a lady and a 4 year old child inside terrified, then forced the gate open the wrong way and broke it, then drove off with the parcel.
The police are investigating (1) criminal damage (2) spitting at the windows. Disgusting thuggish conduct.
DPD were contacted, and initially were concerned and apologetic, but the end result is that as there is no video of it, no action will be taken, and the same driver will redeliver the parcel! Damage to the parcel routine for them, no problem. Damage to the gate? No video of it so they don't care.
Unbelievable.
Obviously my family won't allow the parcel to be delivered by this driver. It's probably wrecked anyway.
No employer I've ever known would deal with a matter in this way.
DPD should be ashamed of their conduct here.

On Monday I book a door to door service, on Tuesday the driver Ranbeer cancel the collection half an hour prior to the time frame Your collection number: 1992 098 233 2.
I rebook for Wednesday, on that day the driver Ranbeer again didn't collect the parcel Your collection number: 1992 101 382 4, when is totally visible on a safe place, I have pictures of that. I contact with the customer service and they are totally unhelpful, even they are very difficult to understand, they just said Rebook the collection, I did yesterday and I want that someone collect my parcel
Rude behavior in the phone service in Austria 2 times. And left the parcel sent from Amazon without knocking at the door so it was tampered. No complain possibility in their website.
Twice now I was told a calling card was left and I wasn't in, I have been in the whole time, both days and no calling card was left, I live on a new build estate and this is the only company that cannot find my address, I rang up and asked for the driver to call me if they cannot find my house, no one phoned me, I also left clear instructions of how to get to my house and the closest postcode that shows up to mine and my house can be seen from the address I'd given, there are huge flags and an estate billboard. Phone service is poor, drivers can't be bothered to use their brains, just lie and say I wasn't in.
My parcel was originally supposed to be delivered on Wednesday 10/08/22, I didn't receive it as it was sent to the wrong address, I called they apologized and was meant to be then sent on Thursday and they sent email to confirm this, I yet still didn't receive it and I called again and they sincerely apologized once again & was confirmed for my parcel to be delivered on Friday, and again on Friday I still didn't receive anything and they said sorry on Monday, I still didn't receive anything on Monday, at this point they make me crazy and make my blood pressure very high. I spoke to them again on the same day and I said to them, you cannot keep lying and they sent a email and confirmed through the phone as well that if they fail to send it by DPD on 16/08/22 we going to use City sprint and yet again nothing happened. Now it is Wednesday and I called and they said someone will call me back from Southall depot but they did nothing
