DPD have yet again contracted to deliver a package to my address with absolutely no intention of doing so.
They are utterly incapable of honesty or transparency and continually persist in their shady dealing. They are no doubt being paid by their customer, whilst providing a litany of lies as to the reason they fail to deliver.
The excuses provided to their customer on Amazon so far have been, "Carrier unable to locate
Customer's address", "Parcel held by carrier because a
Delivery appointment needs to
Be scheduled. Please contact
Carrier to arrange a delivery date" and "Unfortunately, DPD ran into an issue when attempting your delivery. They will try again". When contacting them as requested they cited a "security issue", which they could not discuss as I am not the customer. I count four different reasons, all of which were mentioned in the phone call I made to them, and not one of them is the truth.
Yet again, another of DPD's customers will be losing my custom due to their choice of courier, which I will be explaining in detail. Yet again DPD are not hurting me, they are affecting the business of people who are gullible enough to pay them for a service they're not prepared to provide.
As you have no intention of delivering, DON'T ACCEPT THE CONTRACT! Or continue your bad practice and I will continue contacting your customers and posting reviews to share the truth!
Yet again DPD have failed to deliver. This is no surprise, however, after delivering a parcel 2 days ago, which they passed to my neighbour, they are now saying that they are not delivering to this address due to a "previous incident", in spite of the fact that they had emailed me informing me that they were intending to deliver. Presumably, the "incident" was the bad reviews I have put online. I "can contact them to complain", but why would I bother, based on previous experience they could not care less about their shoddy excuse for a service.
I would far prefer to put bad reviews absolutely everywhere and contact all companies I use, who use DPD, to cancel my accounts, with a full explanation as to why. Congratulations to DPD on costing VioVet a customer
Was expecting a delivery I paid extra for to be delivered a certain day. Was sitting, watching the door for half an hour and Was sent a text saying how they attempted delivery but nobody came to my door. I tried calling them twice and both times they hung up. Useless service without a complaints department. Wouldn't recommend
I ordered a £900 I phone for my niece for Christmas and was messed around two days running as the phone hadnt arrived either dates as stated. 3rd delivery date given the phone was delivered, only to find that the phone had been stolen and replaced with two diaries. I am sure that the two delivery drivers that failed to deliver on the dates stated are in it together so that it can't just be pin pointed onto the of them. The manager was due to call me but I never heard anything back. Bad customer service to say the least! The driver that finally delivered the parcel was very helpful and I don't believe had any involvement at all.
They delivered my parcel to the wrong address. I tried to resolve it withthe customer service, but after more than 4 hours spent on the phone with (horrible and unresponsive) customer service, they still haven't been able to resolve the issue!
Awful service. The courier came by unannounced, on a Saturday; I rejected the phone call twice, he followed by 6 other calls + 1 rude sms to which I couldn't reply because of all the other calls he was frantically making.
He than took revenge on the parcel by assuming my identity and sending it back.
Painfully terrible service. The call-center took his side all the way. TO BE AVOIDED.
I would give -5 stars if possible.
Last 5 dpd attempts to deliver were miss-deliveries, where the driver is in another vilage, takes a random house picture and says" we're sorry we've missed you". Today's story, after they failed to deliver yesterday, on a paid "Next day delivery" order, goes like this: same driver that failed to deliver my parcel yesterday, called me at the end of my time slot, and says " my gps took me to another street, what's your postcode? " After i gave him my postcode, he says he'll be there in 10 minutes. After 2 hours, and 7 unanswered calles, he calles me back and says he will deliver my parcel tomorrow, because he is in another village and will not go back. What.the.f?
I live on the high street, impossible for my address not to be indexed by google maps.
This service is useless. I gave the driver a safe location to leave my parcel and they said it's not safe. They showed up outside their estimate time, and hung up on me when i answered my call. Then they left before I could meet them to collect my parcel.
Calling them was useless. They just hung up on me, disconnected in the chat, and lied to me when they said they would call me back with a new delivery time.
Drivers apparently not willing to deliver to house if it is on a road no one else has a delivery on, so instead will try to deliver to the pharmacy my mum works at, or will just skip the delivery if they (rightfully) don't accept the parcel, delaying the arrival of my orders needlessly. This is in Lochaber, the Scottish Highlands, and the drivers just seem to be notoriously awful if asked to deliver to anyone outside of Fort William or the main villages, despite that being a lot of people. Pain in the arse, and I'm always fretful when online shops say their deliveries are by couriers like DPD, because unlike the Royal Mail, you just never know if they'll be bothered to actually do their job and deliver.
I'm typing this on 3 hours sleep and fuming - I was expecting a few parcels this week and added on each of them a specific instruction "no knocking please, I work nights, leave behind back gate".
Lo and behold a driver called Mike bangs loudly SIX times between the front window, front door and back gate. I open the door and he sheepishly says "I thought I'd try knocking anyway".
They couldn't spare me ONE incident of being rudely knocked up on my front window because they wouldn't follow a simple instruction.
I had a parcel for pick-up, and they came and told me that it was a box and they would not pick it up because of the wheels. I rearranged pickup, only to receive an update that I was not available. I have been home waiting (after missing lectures) for DPD.
Did a Perfect Delivery
Just received a parcel today, delivered by a cheery and polite driver. I had ordered an item from Deuba(via Ebay), which is based in Germany. The whole process took less than five days from start to finish and the parcel was delivered in perfect condition. DPD had tracking for the parcel and this was kept updated.
I want you to be informed about the absolutely boorish behavior of your driver, he knocked and rang the doorbell without interruption, and then he spoke absolutely boorishly. I have never encountered such a service

I ordered an iPhone yesterday it said it would be delivered today, I waited around waiting for the knock on my door when I checked the tracking website and it said it had been given to me and that there was photo proof. The package had been dropped 3 doors away from me. If I hadn't been running around looking to see what door it had been delivered to I would have lost the iPhone. Ridiculous.
The house number it was left out was written clearly on the door and was no where near close to my house number. To top it all off on the dod website said that " this item cannot be left in a safe place" as it's such an expensive item. Yet it was left out in the open on my neighbours front door. It even said that it had actually been given to me personally. I just want to alert people.

The delivery was postponed three times. Then we heard, from the supplier not DPD, that they couldn't find our house. So, without any message from DPD, our order was returned to the supplier.
Couldn't find our house? We have deliveries from Royal Mail every day and deliveries from other companies (Amazon Prime, Yodel etc) three or four times a week. Haven't they heard of Sat Nav or Google Maps? What a sad firm.

My experience with the online shopping site has been extremely disappointing. On February 29th, I purchased a ring to commemorate a special occasion, only to encounter a series of issues thereafter. I opted to have the product sent to one of the collection points designated by DPD, the only company that delivers to Eline Rosina in Portugal. However, on March 13th, I was dismayed to discover that the product had been returned to the Netherlands due to insufficient delivery information.
How is it possible that a delivery company lacks adequate information to deliver to one of its own designated collection points? Upon contacting Eline Rosina, I was informed that the cancellation of the order and the refund would only occur after the product is returned to them. Now, I am being forced to wait indefinitely for the product to be returned by DPD and then face further uncertainty regarding the timeframe for the refund to be processed.
This situation has turned what should have been a special occasion into a huge frustration.
I had a replacement faulty carpet cleaner from vax due to arrive via dpd. They tried delivery during the week, me and my wife were both at work, i paid for saturday delivery. It did not arrive, i enquired why i.was told there was a problem at the depot. It was sent out again Monday.,no one home. I called them again several times to sort a saturday delivery. They said download the app and do it from there. I downloaded the app. No option for saturday delivery. Called back again wanting to collect from local depot. They said i was not allowed to collect. I called customer services which were no help at all, even refused to put me through to a manager, totaly ignorent bunch of people, then they said i cant have the delivery as they have sent it back to vax. Do not use dpd
Don't ever use them, don't ever suggest them, manager can't speak to you, only after 2 hours, what's the point? He's still in my town but after 2 hours he's gonna be on a plane back to poesbekistan for all I know,drivers can't follow instructions, firstly didn't even come the first day, my lord, I'm beyond words...
