I love the idea of paying significantly less per click that I pay at Google. We get the clicks, the backend system is clear in presenting data, but we're working together to get ecommerce tracking setup. The service has been fantastic. I hope that we can figure out the ecommerce tracking so I can warrant more spend with DotHop.
Top of the line 5 Gold Stars, excellent results using DotHop, I have been using DotHop now on a regular everyday basis for over 4 years. It is far superior to google ad words. My cost per click is about 80% less expensive than using google ad words. Great company, my sales rep. Works closely with me to insure that I get results from my campaigns.
I have been a fan of RedZ, so it has taken a little practice to appreciate DotHop. I find that DotHop is easier to read and navigate. I 'experimented' with technical research on Oregon population history. I was pleased to find how easy DotHop is to use and the almost infinite resources it has unveiled. I am pretty conservative on giving 5 stars, but I suspect that after using DotHop for awhile, it will get the 5th star.
Dothop has a great idea here. It's like window shopping.
I am having a great experience with DotHop. They are delivering high quality traffic to my website at a very low cost.
As an advertiser, I will say that our account executive has been excellent. Chris has always been courteous and pleasant to talk with and he has a low-key approach that removes the usual pressure from the decision to advertise. We receive a lot of good quality traffic to our web site and it appears that we get a fairly good conversion rate, too. If there is anything negative to say it would be that the images move away a bit too quickly and are a bit clumsy to control with a mouse pad. Not too bad with a regular mouse, though.
Chris Stanley really knows his stuff! Always a pleasure working with him.
Got a call from Pam today. She showed me Dothop. I love the interface. My website looks great on there. I am excited to see where this goes.
Pam did a great job following up, explaining the service and walking me through the Dashboard for my own usage and analytic and reporting needs. The url was opened up earlier than it was suppose to be, but she is currently working on an $85 credit and still assisting with changes to the verbiage below the website. She is also assisting with the change to the descriptor above the website. Should be resolved tonight or tomorrow. Will check back. I like the too. Still learning for sure.
Great service. High quality traffic. Very low bounce rate.
I love skimming through web pages by looking at pictures instead of links. It gives me a much better idea of whether the website has what I'm looking for. It makes on-line shopping even easier. DotHop is great.
DotHop is simple yet dynamic. It is the first of its kind - picture based search engine. It is convenient. I enjoy being able to see the home page of a website before I even click on it. It helps me find the website that will best fit what I'm searching for.
Chris Stanley has alway been very helpful and offers very helpful suggestions. Chris is very personable.
I work with Chris Stanley and he is great at keeping me posted on offers and letting me know when my account gets low. I need this assistance as I do not have the time to keep up with all aspects of my web advertising. In small business, we are just too busy with many other things.
It's been a pleasure working with our Rep Chris Stanley. He always has helpful suggestions, both in making our site better and working with us on our advertising campaign.
I love DotHop! As a school media specialist, I share this Visual GSE with all my students, in the context of research skill lessons. DotHop provides the user with visual clues, beyond a typical search engine, to the usefulness and credibility of its hits. This is a huge timesaver when searching. I link DotHop as my main 'go to' GSE on my school website. My students and staff love it!
I love dothop! It brings up one set of results that are 100% relevant, unlike Google for example which brings up three sets of results (the paid ads at the top, the paid ads on the right and the main list which is only relevant for the first several listings. I also love that the results come up as images and how clear and clean the results page is overall. It makes searching more effective but also surprisingly more relaxing.
REDZ and now DotHop have done a very good job for us in getting more traffic to our website and are much cheaper than AdWords. From what we can tell, the traffic is on target. Customer service is outstanding. I get answers immediately. The only thing I've asked for is better reporting processes. Hopefully as they grow this will become more sophisticated.
My experience with Pam was very informative and enlightening. I was pleased to learn about the new search engine available and pleased that I could partake in this new venture. I hope that it will prove to be very profitable.
I was a bit sceptical at first about trying a new search engine, but I gave it a shot and my hits went up as did my calls and emails. I am still not quite sure how it works, but it does. I also like having my own account rep (Pam Schiess) who lets me know before I run out of funds or helps me optimize my phrases and lets me know when a new service is available.

Mobile Search is not just a small segment for search engines anymore it is now the fastest growing with over 60% of all searches starting from smart phones! We all know that Google has been the undisputed champ in search but as searches move from the desktop to the smartphone will Google and its text based look hold on to its crown in the coming years?
Originally passed off as a novelty, image based search is now being taken very serious as a key player because of the smartphone. Everything on a smart phone is visual why wouldn't search be. Visual based searching on mobile devices creates a wonderful user experience and hands down blows away the over a decade old boring text search.
Silicon Valley startup Dothop is leading the way delivering a superior mobile search experience with large images of web pages, videos, music and more that people can flip through, similar to paging through a magazine. The advantage of visual search is that websites are presented in an innovative visual page flow rather than in a list of static blue links and can be sifted through with only one hand. The ability to see a web page before clicking through provides a more qualified click connecting people to what they are looking for faster.
Dot hop has recently acquired the patents on image based search and has plans to take it mainstream in the next few years. They are gaining new users everyday and growing fast.
