This is my first experience with a web host that used templates. In looking at the code, there is much more code than I have expected. I have a great deal of experience creating from scratch a web page/site and uploading it to the domain on the server. I haven't looked for a tutorial on this provider yet but will.

You just got charged me for a domain renewal, AFTER submitting said domain for transfer to another, cheaper registrar. Possibly this is just a misunderstanding, but my domain renewal fee costs almost twice as much as the first renewal year did. I can't keep paying these prices.

Horrible experience.

My experience with Domain.com has been horrible so far. After deciding on a domain, I tried to make payment using debit card which an error has occurred. Then I changed it to paypal and the same error screen showed up. However, I have received email from paypal saying the money has been deducted. Then I follow the instruction and set up an account, with an email stating that the set up was successful. Then I tried to login to the control panel an issue occurred again. I was stuck at the loading screen. Then, I tried to contact the online support which is not responding despite hours of waiting.

I have been a customer for 19 days. After further research, I decided to use another hosting service for my web page and emails. I want to transfer my domain name, and domain.com refuses to do so; even though they have no problems taking my money. It clearly states on their website that I have to wait 60 days or opt out domain lock. I have been unsuccessful on finding a contact phone number. I have been forced to talk to a chat box. The person I chatted with said I have to wait 60 days, period, and would not discuss it further. At this point, I want nothing to do with domain.com given they have no reliable customer service.

Very simplistic! Very pleased! It was easy for a non-proficient internet/computer user. The info in the system is concise. Hear me on this...this site that asks for this response... is another experience all together...The total experience was quite delightful.

Technical support is hit or miss and it seems like I have to reach out to technical support too often. SSL certificates should renew automatically without needing intervention. I have my settings correct, to auto-renew, but then my website just goes down.

There needs to be a support number

There needs to be a support number. Sometimes it's easier to explain things via phone and get issues resolved faster. I have hand injuries and typing in chats is not easy and there are a lot of typos that result in confusion on your end.

It is a very confusing interface, even for a person who has built web sites before. I have Website builder, but I can't see how to get to a point where I can build a website.

You probably should have held off this prompt until I become more familiar with how you do things.

A lot of bugs on your website. 1) Had difficulty with backing up my site. Support did the backup for me so that I could download it, but its only once. I need to have possibility to make backups whenever I want using your tools. 2) I am able to login to the system with my login/password, but I cannot change my phone number or the password, because it says the password is incorrect. But how I was able to login if the password is incorrect? 3) Wordpress and Elemental say I need to upgrade MySQL and PHP in order to improve the site performance, as it is currently unsatisfied (a way too slow), but the support said that I cannot do it and they had been working on it for more than two moths already (or even longer).

This company has gone downhill

This company has gone downhill. Pages are slow to load. Have had several outages and issues over the years. Bait and switch - low entry fee and then they jack the prices after the homey moon phase. Now I have to wait 33 minutes to chat with someone. Boo hiss domain.com. Can't wait to be rid of you.

Email has been down or sketchy the last few days

Email has been down or sketchy the last few days. I only just found out that customer service is done completely through chat now, no more human phone service - and when I tried getting through for two days straight, the wait time was 2-hours. Who has two hours to wait for a chat? Whoever made that decision needs to know it is the worst decision yet by Domain.com. And now when I try to play videos uploaded to my site, they just keep cycling through but still not playing after more than 48-hours.

Last year I bought 2 domains for $45 total, and this year I was charged $81 total that I didn't approve!

I contacted them asking for a refund as I didn't notice autorenewal was on and I wasn't intending to renew those domains. I received no options for resolution whatsoever, they just told me that everything is fine on their end and they have no intention on working with me on finding a solution.

I also got in touch with quite a few people who had same and similar issues with refunds. Stay away from them!

Tomorrow I'm going to contact my bank and see if anything can be done on their end and next will I'll seek legal help if issue is not resolved by then.

I like the overall offer of what you got going on, however hopefully theres a choice/option to build/create my brand.

I tried to payment for my domain renew today but the domain.com hosting page didn't show up, so I don't know what can I do and the customer service didn't answer also. How did they customer service like that?
Very bad customer service. Even I called to customer service telephone number, the telephone number *******630 but it answer by answering voice that, we can't support telephone, we only chat, then when I tried to chat, it was not respond. This is not good customer service. Why the company like that?

After registering my domains and receiving the receipt of payment, I immediately received that my account is suspended. Had to connect with support to get it sorted. Using the support before my first login is not really a good experience.

I have been with Domain.Com since almost the beginning of its creation. I have purchased 100's of domain names and have had almost zero issues with this service. Redirecting to Private Servers is very easy and is up and running in under 10 minutes (most of the time). This service is #1 in my books and will not use any other domain service. Domain.Com's prices are very reasonable upon first purchase, and normally beats out on other domain services deals. This is a Top Notch Service, hands down.

It very not clear from the toggles in the interface whether options are enabled or disabled. For example, whether the domain is Auto- renewed or not. And creates problems of charging when I didn't intend for you to charge. They are both Grey and its confusing why not use Green and Grey to avoid unintentional charges?

Used wordpress wich has become unusable due to so may errors. The only way I can see forwards is by getting a fresh slate which I have no idea how to do as wordpress doesn't have a support email just forums which are useless. Furthermore I don't even know if I can start a new wordpress site as I have no clue how to reset or delete my current one and whether or not I need to purchase a new plan. For a website accessible to all you must have great knowledge and experience with websites and programming if you want t resolve an error.
I will happily change my review once I get a useable website but for now I can't do anything but let my frustration build as I've wasted all afternoon and evening trying to find solutions with no success.

Worst domain service ever

Worst domain service ever. NO Customer service. You can't speak with anyone. I've had nothing but problems with this company for the past 2 years. They used to be good, but now they are completely impersonal and could care less about their customers. Whatever you do, DO NOT set your accounts to be auto-renewed. Before shutting this feature off, this company mischarged me several times and then their "CHAT" service told me that they could not refund me and that there "was nothing they could do". This company is a complete joke. My advice to you is pick ANY domain service other than this one. They're unapologetic rip off artists.
