Damaged product recevied

I ordered a screen replacement that was slightly damaged but I didnt notice it until after the install. It became worse day after day so I contacted them via their website. After no response after a while, I used their chat service to chat with someone. They refused to send a replacement because I already used the product and did not complain in time!

Disappointed

Ordered and received LCD & screen for 9.7" iPad Pro. Part looked okay and was packaged well. However due to missing glue strips I could not install. I contacted DYIM and received the glue strips a week after that. Due to other commitments I was not able to install the screen immediately. Once I did perform the install (1 month and 7 days after initial order) I found that the connectors were not clicking in to place. I have performed many screen installations in the past and rarely had a problem. Upon reviewing the connectors closely I found damage and thus informed DYIM. However DYIM informed me I was outside of the 30 day return policy and then went silent. I tried to contact them several times without success.

I purchased a screen for an iPad from dIY mobile repair. I received the screen box looked good. I got everything plug in, touch screen worked but the home button did not work ( not even 24 hours from the time received the package). I contacted diy for an exchange, they gave me the return number. I sent the same package back to them( paid 9 dollar for return shipping). A week later still no word from diy mobile repair. I checked the tracking number it said it was delivered 5 days earlier. I contacted diy and asked about the exchange. They said they need a tracking number, so I gave it to them. They told me to wait for the exchange department to get ahold of me. 4 day later I couldn't wait any longer. I contacted diy mobile repair and told them the process was taking way to lost and just give me a refund. They told me the refund would take 2-3 days to process. I spent 127.75 told and seen a credit to a account of 97.64. That's a 30.11 dollar difference. I contacted them and asked about the 30 dollar difference, I was told they charged me a 15% restocking fee ( on a defective part) and they don't refund on shipping. So over all I'm out 40 dollar for a defective part just for buying for diy mobile repair! I would not buy or recommend diy mobile repair again!
