I used Jonathan's concierge service and within a month I had the most gorgeous Elyque oval diamond ring in my hand! I cannot recommend Jonathan and his products/sevices enough. He is extremely knowledgeable and the ultimate professional with quick replies to any queries and will do whatever he can to help you out. You quickly get a sense that he loves what he does and that you can trust him to deliver exactly what you want!

The Process
I initially asked Jonathan to find me a lab grown oval and within a week he had sent me a video review and specs of two great lab grown ovals. However in this time I had fallen in love with the Elyque Ovals so I ended up purchasing one of these, again with Jonathan pointing me in the right direction based on what I was after.

Then came the ring design process and after describing what I was after Jonathan knocked up a design within a couple of days which was 95% of the way there. A couple days later and the final design was sorted and within a couple of weeks the ring was at my door... the most sparkly and brilliant oval diamond I've ever seen He even helped with some paperwork to help avoid the 5% customs duty (based in Australia).

I am so so happy with how the ring turned out, it's better than I ever expected and I know my partner will love it. Jonathan - I cannot thank you enough and what you've created with those Elyques is just incredible!

Wow. I mean seriously, WOW! We had originally planned to get our diamond online and get our ring done in a local jewelry shop and plans changed rather quickly when Jonathan blew me away with his customer service for our diamond! We just got the ring in this past few days and the only reason it has taken me so long to get this review up is because I have been SO incredibly busy, but you bet I have been wearing this special ring since my husband opened the box! It makes me feel so much like a princess! The cut and color of the diamond is something I have only ever seen in a jewelry shop- not on someone's finger! We ended up getting a ring that was slightly modified from an original item on their website. I wanted a euro shank and Jonathan was able to make that happen! It is absolutely PERFECT! My husband is beyond blown away too. Working with Jonathan and having all of our questions answered, ideas shared with us when I said a few things I was interested in, and the overall process was absolutely perfect! I will also note that I bought the diamond completely without seeing anything other than a single ASET picture that I had NO idea what it meant lol. I basically bought an almost 2 carat diamond - my husband included- completely unseen and 100% TRUSTING in Jonathan telling us to jump on it if we were looking for something in that price range. AND WE DID! And are absolutely blown away still! So, you can absolutely TRUST this company, Jonathan, and Vicki if you are not sure about what you are looking at! You will see in the pictures around my band that there might be what looks like scratches - it's from sweating lol Florida is so dang hot right now and I forgot to clean it before I did the pictures! The ring is absolutely perfect!

Working with Jonathan has been such an incredible experience. We wanted a lab grown diamond custom designed engagement ring.

The custom setting:

My fiancee and I had a rough idea of the ring design we wanted, however we still had difficulty visualizing the final product. Jonathan was able to get back to us with a quick 3D draft of what we described. We were then able to work with Jonathan to gradually make changes towards our ideal ring. We must have changed our mind a dozen times, or have been nitpicky about details that would most likely not have shown up in the final product. All this time, Jonathan was amazingly patient with us. He advised us on design and explained what were the physical or design constraints of our ideas.

I received quotes from 3-4 local jewellers (Montreal, QC, Canada), and 3-4 online jewellers. Almost every jeweller will outsource their CAD design to someone else. As a result, you will be dealing with a salesperson, who will pass down your message to the CAD designer. Imagine the nightmare when it's the tenth modifications you want.

This is all to say, Jonathan is a CAD wizard and we are lucky to have directly worked with him.

The diamond:

If you try educating yourself on diamonds on YouTube, you will find Jonathan giving clear and detailed explanations that will help you make an informed decision. The best part about buying a diamond from Jonathan is that they all go through him to verify. He was also able to offer me a range of diamonds in my budget, and offer me his advice based on his experience.

The experience:

Most of our communications were done by chat, and we were able to exchange images and ideas very quickly and efficiently. More importantly, we were dealing with Jonathan, who has experience with the complete process, the entire time.

Ck out my custom ring on the August Vintage Webster. It's called "LESA"

I was not prepared for how awesome Jonathan is. I've been staring at those AVCs for a year but I didn't know that the guy behind this spectacular work would be such an absolute pleasure to work and collaborate with. I called on a weekend night (probably about 930 pm ny time) to leave a message. Yes I was very excited to let him know I wanted to work with him. Never expected him to pick up. But he did, from a sushi bar! And heard me out and got the ball rolling all on his own personal time. And I'm so glad he did pick up, because he's such a tremendously kind, down to earth, no nonsense guy who strikes you as helpful and trustworthy from the very first moment. This was a relief. I was in the right place. I spent endless nights hemming and hawing over diamond vs moissy AVCs (which I never before knew existed) and I went w/the moissy's (my gf loves them and she thought it was by far the smarter move). Plus finding/cutting a 3ct diamond avc would have taken quite a while. The 1:1.1 avc cusion will be paired w/2 OEC round 5mm moissy's along side. Jonathan literally pulled 20 different views of megans ring from the internet to be sure we got the beautiful ratios she has just right. Moissy or Diamond, it's an awesome feeling to know your stones are cut by the best on the planet and that it will sparkle in a way that almost no other stones out there do. Sorry Harry Winston, you ain't got stones like these!
