Even though they tell you that they canceled the account just like from 2/23-5/23 starting 8/23 they have started doing it again and I know this because I am a current employee so unfortunately you have to call every single day for at least two weeks to make sure that they have actually canceled your account

They will screw you over big time worst service ever they freaking got hacked during the super bowl and I couldn't even watch the super bowl due to them getting hacked then the equipment stopped working and when i called to cancel they said they would charge me a $420 fee for early termination so they are not worth your time and money

I have been wanting to cancel my service now for two days. They put me on hold and no one ever answers. If you call and choose the option to upgrade your service they answer right away. They are disgusting liers and they need to be sued for trapping people with their service.

I'm tired of paying $165 a month for tv and on EVERY commercial break it's always some erectile disfunction or some trans or ru pall drag commercial. When did mentally unstable people take over our country? Sorry dish but I'm done.

After being a Dish customer for the last 6 years, my association has ended horribly. I always auto paid with a credit card, this card was compromised and canceled. Not knowing that my Dish account was connected to this card my service was interrupted and I was given an 800 number to call. The only thing I could talk to was a bot, which kept asking questions about a PIN # which I had no Ideal what that was and could not talk to a human to see where to go from there. I finally called a number to re establish service and was put on hold for over 1/2 hour, then the call ended. I disconnected my Dish receiver and all the other thing associated with Dish. I am now using Roku and could't be happier streaming.

Disgusting people, liars, cheap service, system is down more than it works. Ruined the top of my brand new dryer on a new install because the tech is a moron. Filed a damage report, had dish two come out, yes it is messed up. Dish said get an appliance technician and see if it can be fixed. We will pay for the tech. Tech came out said no parts are available and i took his bill and that statement, scanned it and emailed it to them. One and one half years later no resolution. I have the sent emails with attachments. Called multiple times, that is a joke. Called to cancel and they called me a liar and charged me a disconnect fee. They said i made a commitment, no i did not. Liars and loosers, waiting for kit to give them their garbage back. If you get dish you deserve what you get

Unable to login to my account online to correct OVER billing problems. I was Told overbilling was correct but it was not. Most customer service representatives speak very poor English. Totally unsatisfactory except for actual package but promised 3 year flat billing a HUGE lie! Also Hulu blocked with Dish- a fact not disclosed by Dish when you Order It!
Not worth the massive inability to easily communicate!

Not really that impressed, but I like that you get satellite radio included. Otherwise, it's just a really expensive way to get your programming, and you have to watch it on someone else's schedule. I don't see the point, once you have a good internet connection, Hulu, Netflix, and HBOGo.

My dish goes out all the time. I definitely wouldn't rely on it in inclement weather. I don't have a lot of fancy add-ons. In fact I only have one level up from basic. It still it costs more than my monthly electric bill.

Dish Lies to Customers

When I chatted with dish. It was $100 for what I wanted. When I called in to make the change it was $150. Calling in says Chat is wrong. Then when I chatted they said they DON'T have that information. What a crock. I have the chat in writing. I would not recommend dish. Just need my contract to expire.

Worst Company Ever

Do not use Dish network unless you like being ripped off. My bill jumped $50 in two months without any changes to my service. Channels are constantly out because of dish trying to rip off the networks. ESPN/ SEC networks went out for two weeks at the beginning of college football season. They go to extreme measures to keep you from canceling your service when you do decide to cancel. They offer worthless short term discounts to try to keep you from canceling. I was on hold 4 different times for a total of 1.25 hours when canceling my service. Then they want me to pay $20 a box to return their equipment that is between 7 and 8 years old. DISH NETWORK IS A BIG SCAM!

Local channels
January 8, 2022

How do they charge me $12.00 for local channels? I don't get channel 8 or 13 or 23. They gave me a one time credit of $5. Said that is all they could do because they are still working on it. So I have to pay $12 a month for channels I don't get because you are working on it.

Poor service

I live out in the country so satellite is my only resource for a network. For the past few years I had Dish Network, some trouble here and there however lately we have very poor service at our home. I called for a tech to come to the house to figure out why. I RENT their equipment but regardless I was told there would be a charge for the tech to come out. Either $10.99 with a year contract for insurance or a flat fee of $103 that must be paid up front before they would book a tech to come. I declined and decided to ditch the dish. Purchased a Roku Ultra ~ happy happy happy.
When I called to cancel my service the service representative was rather cocky, saying I should have just ask to be canceled and he could have waived the tech charge and/or could have added a few services to make up the difference. Nope, went from paying $120 a month to paying $25. Yay

Awful!

I wished I'd read reviews before I signed up. The customer service is the worst I've ever seen in a company even if you're lucky enough to talk to a live person! I have a 4k TV and can't get 4k programs. I had to add Spectrum cable in order to watch the Lakers and the Clippers anytime they play. Just Awful.

DO NOT USE DISH!
June 29, 2022

After multiple attempts trying to receive boxes in order to send the equipment back after cancelling (in which they charge a fee for), they sent my account to collections. We had to pay the bill for not returning equipment in order to have it dropped, in which they promised a refund when the equipment was returned. Equipment was returned, they have yet to refund or drop from my credit. Customer service is no help and gives the same empty promises every time. Stream your shows and never hire this company.

Double charged
July 20, 2022

We where double charged today. We asked for the money back. Management declined. I told my husband call them and cancel! We have been great customers for years. This type of treatment if unacceptable.
They are to spendy and getting more spendier! Farewell Dish. We don't need your services that bad. I got Netflix. Awesome service and they don't double dip and is affordable.

Don't go with Dish

Dish does not offer a local channel package instead they make you purchase a channel package with a ton of channels you will not watch just to make your bill higher. I do not recommend them, not only do they rip you off but the smart card they give you constantly doesn't work and says it's upside down when it's not.

Do Not Get Dish Network!
September 28, 2023

I have been with Dish Network for over 12 years. I had to cancel last January because I couldn't afford it no longer. The representative decided in his best interest to put my account on hold for 6 months, after I stated I did not want that just to send me a box to ship back the receiver. Well then they began pulling money out of my bank account months later without telling me. I tried to cancel again and they said I had to pay this big bill and I refused. Asked for my money back and they finally agreed and now a few months later just found out they did not cancel or send me my money back. Now I have an even bigger bill. This has been the Hardest thing I've done trying to get this company to reburst my money after it should have been canceled in January 8 months ago when I called. So do not sign up for Dish waste of time and Money!
