They charged me to unlock my Samsung Galaxy. Later that day they requested an additional $30. One week later they said they could not unlock my phone and did not refund my money. Total scam! Avoid at all cost!
FRAUD ALERT! This site will charge you almost $70 to unlock the card! When I tried ordering from the site, it says $29 for unlock service, but it turned out that was PREORDER, which is to just check if your phone can be unlocked. They sent another payment link and asked for another $38 for the ACTUAL unlock service. When I tried contacting them, they kept telling me preorder is not refundable and refuse to refund my payment.
Just be aware you will be charged twice!
Before I submitted my first payment, the time estimate was 24 hours. Finally 13 days later I was notified that the unlock was unsuccessful and I would need to pay for the premium unlock for another $135, and it would take 24-72 hours. Once I paid the money I was informed that it would take another 10 business days. I emailed them and asked them to expedite this and will update this if they act quickly on my complaint. Otherwise, I would suggest you go elsewhere for your business.
They accept to unlock my device, as it was eligible.
It took ages to move the process from 10% to 33%, I pushed them many many, many many times...
No email but standard emails regarding the process was still running.
After 2 weeks the process of clearing stuck into 99%, and it keeps freeze at that 99% since any movement.
NO REFUND, NO HELP, ALWAYS SAME STANDARD EMAIL... I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND
Should have stuck to the 'never pay in advance' rule.
Directunlocks take payment, pretend they have commenced the 'unlocking' process then after a couple of days tell you they were unable to complete the process, but do not offer a refund - even though they have not provided the service they were being paid for.
Avoid this rip-off company.
They are scammers won't unlock phone took money months ago they are hacks... DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THESE HACKS
They charged me total $70 USD to unlock my iphone Xs. First they charged $28 to do pre-screening, then they said my iphone IMEI passed but in order to get fully unlocked I need to pay extra $42. When I realized they are lying and asked for refund they refused. Sometime he is called Tim, sometimes Luke but never had last name. Totally scam. I already reported this incidence to the US federal trade commission.
TIRED OF WAITING | DISAPPOINTED
ALMOST 2 WEEKS AFTER PURCHASING THEIR SERVICES TO UNLOCK MY IPHONE 12 PRO MAX FROM AT&T AND UPTO NOW THERE'S NO POSITIVE RESPONSE AND STILL THE STATUS IS OVERDUE / IMMINENT.
THEY REPLIED ON EMAIL BUT ONLY TELLING THAT THEY ARE CHASING THE IMEI
ORDER NO. *******
I WILL BE HAPPY AND WILLING TO REMOVED THIS REVIEWED ONCE MY PHONE GOT UNLOCK
>>>SCAMMERS<<< >>>STAY AWAY<<
I did place my order on October 4th 2021 to unlock my T-Mobile carrier locked iPhone 12 Pro and it's been two months there is no progress. No refund has been issued after I requested for refund as per their policy. Beware of DirectUnlock website before you request for unlock.
They do nothing and will charge you. Your cc company will also charge you a fee because its basically an outside of courntry cash transaction! Totally hidden from you until charged. Fine print will say its not for unlocking to get out of being responsible for anything. They are nothing but modern day crooks. What they say will show up on cc does not show up that way. Crooks on many levels.
Sorry for my bad english. I wanted to unlock my iphone. First i have paid 28usd. Next they want me to pay about 42usd, without to choose to cancel my order and doesnt left me a chance to choose... So i have lost total 68usd and after a month the progress bar stays 99% and my phone is not unlocked. directunlocks.com told me that they can not refund me, because i have pay with card.
So i lost 70usd and my phone is still locked...
Dont buy anything from this scam site!
I have been waiting since September for my unlock that I paid a little over 80$ for. No contact has been made on their side involving resolving this issue. I was told a server has to be on. I work in IT and have worked for many companies. The activation servers are always on. I will be reporting the company to the better business bureau
This is a scam! Shows online that it'll only take 24hrs, i've waiter one week! Then received an unsuccessful notice asking for more money, then a refund link but after clicking the refund link there's no option to proceed!
So it costs 28$ to unlock a iPhone 13 Pro Max and once you pay you get a email you owe them another 60$. The Mf ers wont state it before you pay the first amount so basically if you dont pay the 60$ they steal the 28$. Thats All Folks!
I decided to try this service, thinking it looked legitimate and would be able to unlock my 3rd party purchased iPhone. From the get-go there were warning signs, in particular their $28 fee simply to check the "eligibility" of the unlock. They don't clearly tell you this until you part with your 1st half of your money and then ask for even more money once the "eligibility" is determined. After that it was another $38 that disappeared into their abyss. After these 2 online purchases, you get a fake status page showing something like 5 days remaining to unlock. The countdown goes on and inevitably expires. An email to their customer service simply gives you a generic, cut & paste reply stating that they're "chasing" your IMEI, which is code for doing nothing, but stonewalling. After that I did email their Customer Service a few more times and their replies were exactly, word-for-word the same as their prior responses. Essentially I felt like I was emailing with a robot vs a human being. After the 30 days wait is up, there's an inactive "self refund" link on the status page, which mysteriously disappears, instead of becoming activated. This just goes to show that this service is not legitimate and they simply delay, stonewall, & lie, hoping they get keep your hard earned money, while performing no actual useful service. I've requested multiple times for them to comply with their 30 day refund policy, but again I just get generic, boilerplate, cut & paste replies telling me to wait more, followed by ignored, un-responded-to emails. I highly recommend reading the other negative reviews on here, as I believe most of the glowing ones are actually fake. My experience matches the negative reviews almost perfectly. I've since gotten rid of that locked phone & now know to use a local unlocking service instead of one that is supposedly located in the UK (Seychelles is their true location, according to an investigation by another victim & blogger). Caveat emptor!
I tried they're services on Oct 2,2021 to unlock a T-Mobile S21 device, they returned as unlocked but when i try to unlock, shows Unlock failed reason code: 255. I have emailed them multiple times, they ask me to send video of my error, i sent them my video request and nothing back from them or response.
Stay away from this company, they'll pretend to help you but stop responding when you have errors.
What out for this guy, he is a liar and not trust worthy. All I can say is beware and don't pay a penny if you want to not get scammed.
I paid for 2 phones to be unlocked. They took my money, it's been way over 30 days, my phones are still not unlocked and now their not responding to me about my refunds! They are most definitely liars and they take your money and don't do what they are suppose to do for the money they've taken from you! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
Es una pagina que te ofrece un tiempo, no lo cumple, ofrece reembolso que nunca realizaran. ESTAFA..
