Faces of color
December 26, 2022

This book is the cutest and it arrived before Christmas. However I noticed we were the only faces of color in the book. There is a page in particular that has a crowd of people and there is NOT a single black or brown face. My daughter absolutely loves the book and although we teach our children that love has no color I would have liked to see that also displayed in this book.

This company is totally a fraud company

I ordered the books on 29 October to UAE. They did not provided any tracking number or proof. So called customer support Rachel is giving different and wrong information every time. She said that my package was handed to DHL express without a tracking number but she can't contact them. She insist me to close my dispute of refund on PayPal. They are scammers, my kid will be without his favourite books on Christmas. Kindly avoid them and share more on social media, it will help the people not to waste their money.

Terrible service

They ship ups them send it to the post office, the post office has no info and loses package. Buyer beware if you buy this as a gift, it will take the longest estimate to arrive if it arrives at all. Save yourself the headache and use a different company

Disappointed!

Delivery was quite fast. However, quality of the label is not what I expected. The print were not accurate with the size of the label, so when removing the label, part of my son's name was out of the label. Very very disappointed. Will definetely NOT order again.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I ordered a book weeks ago and they issued a tracking for me, spoke with someone who said my order will be here by end of week still not update on tracking and no book! I now CANT REACH ANYONE, they won't answer and refuse to give refund! Horrible customer service and they're thieves! Should be disgusted in the way they handle things (these books are for children). Also I spoke to fedex they told me they never received an item to ship out but they see the company created a label and this isn't the first time this has happened with this company!

Really wanted to like them!

I use 'Put me in the story' quite a bit, decided to use Dinkleboo because they had a good sale. Ordered a book as a gift for a babysitter and the book came with part of the title and babies name printed on the spine of the book. Reached out to the company and they were quick with responding and told me they would print a new book and send it right away... which they did, the only problem is that it is exactly the same as the first one! Now I have 2 personalized books with the name printed on the spine. Put me in the story is much different. They reach out to you right away if they see that there is something off on the book and they work quickly to make sure it's done right the first time. Their prices are the same, if not better and they have sales as well. I just wish they had a sale when I needed to order this last book!

Worst Online Shopping Experience Ever

The worst online shopping experience I have ever had. I don't believe the high rate of positive reviews here are genuine at all. I ordered a product from them days before their 'last order before Christmas' date. It still didn't show up. Looking through the reviews I am not the only one that had this experience. How can a company that personalises books not personalise delivery, i. E, a very simple tracking code like the vast majority of online shops use? If I had not contacted them they never would have known whether my order showed up or not. Unfortunately, like many others, it didn't. I have been offered compensation by them in the event my order didn't arrive. I have refused it. Instead, I will be advising everyone I speak to not to order anything from this website. They should understand that there is no compensation that makes up for disappointing a child on Xmas day. There is no worse service you could give to a customer than that. Will never ever use this website again and strongly advise others not to.

Placed an order with an accompanying email, stating that I was making the order under some time pressures for a birthday party. I outlined if they were not confident that the items would be delivered before my required date, not to proceed with the order.

My email was sent well before the items were printed. They had ample time to cancel the order but did not. While the matter was still being disputed and discussed after I had made it clear I wanted tl cancel the order/our service contract, they sent the items anyway.

They also blocked my on Facebook for leaving a negative review on their page, and will not respond to messages. Imagine they operate in breach of several consumer obligations. Do not order from them

Hi Jayson,

We are very sorry to hear you're disappointed with the service you've received! By looking into this further, I can see your order was submitted on the 1st of December and shipped out on the 2nd. All information is outlined on the website regarding shipping times, and delivery to New Zealand can take 7-12 working days once shipped. This is also the method you selected at the checkout when completing your order. You have stated that you need this order for the 10th of December and taking into account the shipping timeframe, this should arrive between the 13th and 22nd of December.

We also have it outlined on the website that due to our system being automated, we don't have the option to make any changes whatsoever, as production starts almost instantly. Coming into our peak period, we cannot respond to customers' emails as quickly as we'd like, which is why it states we will respond to you within 24-48 hours.

Q: Can I alter my order once it has been placed?
Unfortunately, you can't change an order once it has been placed as our system is automated and production of your finished product begins almost straight away.

Incredible Customer Service

I ordered four sets of labels. One set Dinkleboo stopped in production because they said the colors I chose wouldn't show up. LaQuita, from their customer service team, called AND emailed to discuss with me label colors that would work. When I received my four sets of labels in the mail, I felt the name wasn't visible on a different set. LaQuita was again super responsive and replaced them right away. The kids are all super happy with their name labels and I'm beyond thrilled with the customer service!

LaQuita is an amazing representative of your company's dedication to customers. She has gone way out of her way to assuage my concerns. I am not a techie and am very uncomfortable putting my credit car on the internet, so I really like to do a phone orders. She has called me several times (& I am uncomfortable answering the phone when it is someone I don't recognize) and sent several emails about every part of the process, all the way up to the delivery. She is so patient, kind and understanding. Thank you.

PS I can't verify the wording in the books is correct until after my great grandchildren open them, I wanted to leave the plastic on them so they will stay nicer. Some of the books they will not receive until XMAS, hope that is okay. Looking forward to working with you for more gifts, this is such a fun idea.

Great great service

I wanted these cute books for my eight great grandchildren but wasn't able to order online, thus did a snail mail letter to the company and LaQuita handled my order. I so appreciated all she did for me. My order arrived very quickly. However, one book had a misspelled name. Upon contacting her, a new book was reissued and has arrived spelled correctly. Great great service... that's what is so important in today's world. Thank You LaQuinta!

I ordered 4 personalized bags from this company. These did not come in a reasonable amount of time or for when I needed them. It took them 13 days to even process the payment. Then they blamed me (the customer) for there slow process. Below is from Dinkleboo's customer service:

Hello Courtney, It was only Not successful (my payment) because you folks did not take it out my payment until 13 days later. I ordered the product on March 15,2021.
Is this the usual practice of not taking a payment out for 13 days? I am not trying to be difficult. My first order came in a reasonable amount of

The best service ever

The service and help with a not a problem at all attitude towards us when we had some issues with an order is very refreshing and plesant to recieve. I have been buying from Dinkleboo for 4 years, usually they are ok. I don't know what's happened this year but they are absolutely shocking. It took over a month to finally get the items delivered. There was correspondence during this time where I was blatantly lied to by their customer service team. First was that it had been shipped (every other time I've ordered, I've received an email saying my order is completed and on it's way), next was that it "must have been lost in transit because we don't use tracking numbers". They did however (& without any questions) re-do the order. But I'm pretty sure it's because it wasn't made in the 1st place. When I asked that it get made and sent as soon as possible because of their error, I was informed that they're already working 24/7 to get the orders done for Christmas, so it would be sent as normal (I ordered on the 1st of November to avoid the Christmas rush & because some need to be sent away). I've sent 3 emails after the last 1 asking for them to make the order asap, and never received an email back from them since. And then low and behold, I get a msg from Australia post yesterday saying that my order with "tracking number *******" was arriving today... but according to Dinkleboo, they don't use tracking numbers... So yeah, not a fun experience. There was no remorse on their end or any form of compensation (like a $5 coupon or 10% off your next order, like what most businesses would do)
