The store in eastgate ohio has the rudest workers! My friends and I were trying on homecoming dresses and the girl came over and said "If you guys are playing dress up we don't have time for it." There was literally no one else in the store and she was sitting on the computer. We were asked to leave. Then just today a friend and I were school shopping and we asked the same girl to open a fitting room. She said someone would be able to help us in a moment. We walked back there and 6 miniutes later someone came. All the workers were gossiping at the registers accept the girl we asked to open the fitting room she was on the computer again! Needless to say they've lost my business.

We ordered a dress that didn't arrive when we were told it would so grand daughter didn't get to wear it. Then went to return it. They refused the return as it was past 30 days. I explained we were from out of town and didn't always come within 30 days and the dress was late. The store employee was very nasty and said as it was past 30 days they didn't take returns and the problem with them being late was not something they were responsible for.

Store on Holland Sylvania rd. Toledo, Ohio I've been to this store twice in the last year with my wife both times the staff wasnt helpful at all to African Americans and most of the staff is African American. The was no "hello can I help you" or anything but when a white person came in the store woke up they rushed to help them. My wife would rather drive 85 miles to elyria Ohio instead of going to that store again.

I am very disappointed in the debs at south ridge mall in wisconsin. They are going out of business and falsly advertised the pricing of the dress that just so happened to be my princess dress. The reason I am upset is because the price they falsly marked the dress at was what I could afford (around $25) it was 80% off, when my sister and I got.to the register we were told that we were wrong (after they admitted that they marked the price wrong) they would not give us the dress for the price.it was marked. I would suggest going there If you feel like being stepped on and treated like dirt.

The cloths are not the best quality. I was looking yesterday and saw the clearance prices and didn't purchase. Today I went on and saw the prices were lower than yesterday. I spent an hour filling my cart, after I put in my credit card #, it timed out, and when I got back in the prices were UP! Shoes that were 11.25 were now 19.95! Uggh! Waste of time. Prices seem to change hourly here, so be careful of wasting your time shopping here because in the end, the price you saw may not be the price you get!

I ordered a pair of earrings for my senior prom and socks and a few delicates. I ordered these items on May 4 and received them today May 7. Not only did my package arrive in a timely manner but all my items were wrapped neatly and safely. It looked so nice in the seperate clear bags that I didn'y even want to take them out. All of the items fit pefectly and I had no problem with the clothing items.

I did have one problem and that was with the earrings. In the picture on the internet the earrings appeared small and very classy but when I received them they were very large and bulky. I cannot wear these to prom for it will look tacky with the elegance. I wish that the pictures looked identical to what I received so that I could be more on target with what I was looking for.

I'd order from them again but I'd get the jewelry in person

My name is Shaunda C., today was one of those days were nothing seem to go right for me that was until I stop by the Deb Store located in Lloyd Center Mall in Portland, OR! I was greeted first by a smiling Melissa, who just so happened to be wearing a pair of jeans that I like, she lead straight to the rack, she asked my size and shuffled through the rack to find my size! She even helped me shuffle through some racks to find a top to go with my jeans! I then decided to look on my own after looking for about 5 to 10 minutes I was then greeted by a smiling Leah, she picked out a beautiful purple top that I was very unsure of due to the color which was a light purple and I never worn that color before! So after I got home I tried my new outfit on along with the new boots I bought to go with the jeans and top, my girlfriends gave me two thumbs up! Thank you Melissa and Leah, for your help you two have totally made my day so much better more ways than one :)! !

DON'T USE PAYPAL AT THIS SITE!
I ordered from debshop.com because all over the site it said, "Return to the store. How cool is that! I was not sure of the size I needed because my measurements where right in the middle of 2 sizes on their chart. I ordered two of the same dresses different sizes. When I tried to return the one dress I did not need, SURPRIZE. I could only get store credit because I used Paypal. It did not say that any where while I was ordering. Not even in the small print on my receipt. The only way to get any money back was to return it via the mail, pay the postage and wait one month. Now that sucks. Using a credit card would have been just as easy. They need to put a disclaimer as soon as the Paypal button is pushed.

What a mistake
July 2, 2014

What a mistake. I bought a plus size tank top from debshops for 11.50. I, unfortunately, wanted the shirt in time for the 4th of July so I paid for 2 day shipping (which is like $17?). OF COURSE the tank top is WAY too small. It's a 3X and fits like a 1X. This is how you do business, people! Take notes: make shipping more expensive than the actual shirt so you get paid more & get the shirt back when it inevitably doesn't fit! I would be upset if it wasn't genius. I just want my 11.50 back now but what's the point when that's what I'll be paying just to ship it back to them? I would just stay away from their plus size entirely.

I ordered one shirt- it could practically fit a Barbie doll. It's like a tag is randomly sewn on anything... NOT true to size. Cheated.

Ridiculous
March 7, 2015

I was in the Northwoods Mall location in Charleston SC. The mall also had a Sears which provided buggies for their shoppers. I bought clothes at sears then took the buggy through the mall shopping instead of lugging the bags around. I went into the Deb store n pickd out 3 dresses i wanted to buy. A sales associate then askd if this was my buggy while i was looking at a rack. I said yes mam, why? She said that i couldnt have the buggy in there. I said why? She said because it was sears, i couldnt have it in there. I told her she was ridiculous n put all three dresses back on the shelf n walked out! Maybe thats why you are going out of business... your employees are running paying customers out the door over stupid things. I ended up buying similar dresses at JCPennys n Sears n spent a total of almost 2
$280.00! That could have been yours but you hire idiots to work your store!

I used to love DEB and I shoped there nonstop until now.

I had a gift certifricate that wouldn't work for over a month and had no value until they just updated the site. They refuse to refund me for the "no value" time I had already spent money there expecting my gift certifricate to be refunded.

Stay away! DONT SHOP HERE~!~!~!~ They're deals aren't as good as they used to be and they are only out for all the money they can squeeze from you.

Rude & horrible customer service! Dont recommend this place to anyone!
I bought lot of clearance stuff(different sizes) from Deb store because was short of time didn't tried them. Then went next week(8th day) to return which are not right size & didn't get to wear it. They refused the return as it was past 7 days. I explained it is 30 days return policy but they say its 7 days for clearance items then I asked them that they should told me when I bought it. There was no sign saying this and they didn't told me about it. She didn't listen to me at all and said can't do refund. The store employee was very nasty and said as it was past 7 days they didn't take returns and the problem with them being late was not something they were responsible for. With her rood behavior I felt offended. Besides their $#*! Attitude I will never again shop at deb shop in ashwaubenon w. I. if I could give them a zero star I would. For being judgemental. Rude & horrible customer service! Dont recommend this place to anyone!

Online shop is TERRIBLE. I ordered a dress I need for a Wedding in a few days. I bought a few items with it and paid 30$ for overnight shipping. Got an email today saying the dress is out of stock but everything else has been shipped. The one item I REALLY need is not coming! I emailed them and I have not gotten any response yet. I hope they refund me something, probably not though. I would have even taken the dress in a size up if they just have contacted me before shipping out the products. I don't have the time (they ship same day any orders before 12 and of course they email me at 1pm telling me my dress wont be shipped) and I am not spending another 30$ to order the dress in a size up. Never have I ever been so angry with a company. I don't even understand how this could happen... a glitch in the system? Or carelessness with inventory? Who knows. But I did not believe the bad reviews about their online shop until now. STAY AWAY. Just shop at the store, if you must, but DO NOT SHOP ONLINE esp. If you need something right away.

Everything I buy from here is $#*!. All of the clothes fall apart. The zippers are all cheap and chinsy! Don't waste your money&time buying clothes that you're going to need to buy in another week!

I saw some reviews saying that their clothes run smaller now, but I decided not to listen to that when I ordered, and ordered the same size in everything that I normally would. It's all perfect! True to size! I loved shopping in the physical store, and that was the only place I would normally shop, all the way up until they closed I was loyal. When I heard their online store opened back up, I was a little apprehensive about ordering, mainly because the choices aren't as good as they use to be. However, I use to love getting basics from deb (v-necks, and tank tops) so I've obviously buried, or worn out most of the ones I still have so I decided to take a chance and order! First of all, it got here in 3 days, so that was amazing! I also saw some people talking about the quality, yes the material isn't as good/thick as it use to be, however it also costs less than it use to so do with that information what you will.

To address one last thing that I saw on here, the fact that they are only plus size now; On the DebShops website there is a tab that says straight sizes, and on their facebook, multiple times, they said that all of their straight sizes are now through Love Culture, and clicking on that tab will bring you there.
