ZERO - FRAUDULENT SCAM

I hardly had a chance to engage in any meaningful conversation on this platform, yet they persistently demand more and more money, insisting that being inactive should come at a lower cost. However, every time I log in, prompted by an alleged message, there's an individual on my screen who clearly observes me, and I'm unable to disable this intrusion. It's a blatant violation of my privacy, and all I've received for my $40 investment is sheer disappointment. I'm absolutely livid, and it's becoming evident that this website is nothing but a scam.

Had a friend get roped into this and it was horrific. They drained her bank account, maxed out her credit card. They sent her fake profile chat from a "too good to be true" guy that would only talk to her on the site and not call her or text her in real life. They coarced her through love bombing to spend more money on emojis and communication in order to keep her spending her money. It was a team of bots chatting to her through the night keeping her hooked and in a loop of spending more money, like a casino taking advantage of gamblers. This sight is a total scam desigbed to prey on vulnerable older people seeking love and connection. Do not use this sight. They need to be reported and get shut down, it's horrific.

They stipulate that you purchase a long-term membership to contact your potential matches. When you see that these matches are nothing more than bots they don't let you cancel. I am not seeking for anyone anymore and I don't need DateMyAge, but I still can't cancel my premium membership. My profile is still active although I contacted DateMyAge customer service thousands of times and requested to remove it. Moreover, these fraudsters are still trying to charge my cc.

I have been on a lot of dating sites and this is by far the biggest scam I have ever seen. First and foremost, the cost is atrocious you pay for a subscription and then on top of it you have to purchase credits to even talk to anybody. Like what is the subscription feet for, and the subscription is already twice as much as any other dating app. There are all of these unreal looking people with verified logos who seem to talk up the app and the logistics as security measures. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. Men don't talk like that. In addition, sometimes the responses don't match the conversation. Or the responses will refer to the person in the third, which leads me to believe it's some AI bot generated ish.
The layers of conversation and paying twenty credits to see a picture or an email is robbery.
This is a gross app.

This website does not care about providing great customer service. I requested a refund and it was denied. I renewed my credits and it only lasted an hour. I've been on other dating sites that charged a monthly fee for unlimited texts. I don't recommend date my age website because I've been struggling with them since last year

What a ridiculous waste of time! My matches were either downright odd females or bots or drama queens. There are also bunch of scammers, since there is no vetting. Now I only use sites which vet profiles. But I learned this lesson the hard way, having wasted my money and plenty of time on DateMyAge, trying to find a gem among scammers, bots and weirdos.

The absolute WORST

I'm so glad I didn't spend my money. Each "letter" is ridiculous and each photo is definitely not the person who wrote the letter. AND, complete morons, put the same photo of a man with a different name and different letter. I hope you don't get fooled by this total bs of a site.

Right off the top, you are going to be hit with all kinds of potential partners. Be careful. This website will suck the life out of you with payments, regardless of what you've requested. On the same day, this site charged me $99 on the same day and wouldn't give me a refund, There are better dating websites out there.

This is a scam

The whole purpose of this site is to buy credits which are expensive and difficult to understand what actions cost. For example it says 1 credit to chat and 10 credits for a letter. I didn't see a difference and the credits are charged for reading a message plus sending one. You get "hundreds" of messages. In addition, the terms say some members get compensation from the company.

Art of digital stealing

All male 'daters' are employees of the website, faking they are after a relationship and interested in you. When you ask them for email or social media they all refuse or dont use Facebook or any social media, some 30 men where chatted when subscribed and none use social media or email!? They all prefer spending money on the dating site chat instead for free social media or email? That was a huge red flag after the first day of using this website

Then the prices are out of this world like 10c for a chat message or 1Eur for a mail message (even reading it) or 2Eur/min for a video chat. So if you say hello how are you? - that's 10c off from your money funds. After paying the first 50Eur you drain them in a day. All men, good looking, perfect US English, lure you that they are interested to know you, but none are dating people, as I said employees of datemyage working from home.

Then I turned off automatic payment per month but I was still charged a monthly membership of 70Eur, without 3DS verification from my VISA company or any confirmation step. I just recieved 69Eur has been deducted without any verification. I supposedly deleted my account and not an email to confirm this and probably they will deduct some other money. I had to block the card (=more hassle, more expenses). Pity that I did not check the validity of this website. Pity it comes a sponsor add for google!

For the complete record, I paid a membership for my friend (female) in order to search her a mate but lonely she remained and I lost 120Euro or more!

DONT DO IT! It's a scam, most of the profiles are not real ( made up of these "POPULAR MEMBERS) magazine perfect pictures of beautiful models that just want to fall in love - all from foreign countries). They charged for the monthly membership and then you get charged for every message you send. Then these fake profiles "POPULAR MEMBERS" are actually shareholders trying to get you to spend money. I've tried to contact customer service through email and phone ( don't answer their phones or allow to leave a message) to delete my account and I have received no response. Why not have a real app with real people instead of scamming people out of their money. CRAZY!

It's not that I expect nothing but perfection, but DateMyAge is all about bots and fake profiles. All you get is vague messages with no follow-ups. It's a waste of time and - if you purchase the paid subscription - it's a waste of money. It makes me believe there are no decent dating sites which actually bring lonely people together.

Hi girls,
It's your girl OK. Letting you know this is sad but all the guys I have spoken to on this site so far are scammers. Now let me break it down I met one specific doctor on the 28 th of July. Mentioned he was frm Michigan. I was talking to him for almost 3 weeks when he asked me to send him 200 $ on and ebay card. He said he was in Singapore on job an orthopedic surgeon and his son Steve had nothing to eat. Now. I deleted this expensive rip of site and went to dating.com. I have been there for 2 weeks when guess what he on the new site with 2 profiles. So he send me a message from both profile. I responded and asked why does he want to talk to me on whatsapp. Now his 2nd profile I started to be chat with him. I wanted my pic. So I sent it to him. His name is the same but his son's name is Kelvin. He saying he from Baltimore and working as a dr for th UN in Ukraine kyviv. He a joke. After I sent him my pic. Are you telling me he did not recognize me. He started saying I love you and want to marry you. He a liar, cheater. I think he claiming to be a widow that his ex wife Vera died of a blood cancer. What a joke? Ladies I am going to share more of my exploits as I exposed the nasty cheaters.

Full of fun

Do not download this app. It is a waste of time and money. You are limited to less than 30 minutes then they cut you off and you have to repay. It's the worst app in history. That's why their ratings are so low repeat do not download unless you have money and time to waste, I would never recommend this app to no one it is the biggest rip off of apps of any kind that ever dealt with i'll learn the hard way. I'm warning you before you waste your money. I should have went by their ratings but it sounds so tempting on the TV to find out it is a big rip off.

A total scam

I've been in the website for 3 weeks and am a non payer, so I'm very restricted to only seeing the first message and only allowed to reply to it once. If I try any further contact, a big sign comes onto the screen saying I need to buy credits to continue, so all contact ends. They said that we are not allowed to put any personal contact details into our one allowed message or we will be banished, but I broke their rules and included my email and received absolutely no replies, even though the men appeared very keen, so they are all fake, just to get us to pay a lot of money for non existant people. The live help doesn't work and emails to the staff who send us the email notices, don't reply to any emails I send them. My profile photo is below.

Is This Website Even Legal?

I am appalled and furious with myself that it took me 48 hours to realise that I was being scammed on this website, by which time I had been conned into parting with a significant amount of money, just to keep in contact with a fake profile. The "person" concerned was charming, romantic, handsome and apparently very attracted to me. It was only when I told him I could no longer afford to remain on the website and even went as far as giving my phone and email details so we could keep in touch because he was so sad and didn't want to lose me, I realised by the fact he went to great lengths to keep me chatting on the website and totally ignoring my reasons for leaving and my contact details, that either he worked for the company or I had been chatting with a bot! Please don't be naive and as stupid as me…avoid this dating website at all costs.
