My tires arrived quickly at the store. When I arrived with my wheels they were able to mount and balance them while I waited. Quick and easy.
I had been looking for a full face helmet wii5h good quality for a while now and saw the LS2 assault helmet on sale so I decided to buy it right away. The product was shipped quickly and received well within the 5-7 day timeframe they gave. I think I had it by the 3rd or 4th day. The product came in nicely packed and without any kind of damage even to the shipping box.
I bought an open box k1s helmet. Received it with a bunch of scratches. I reached out and was given $15 store credit. I bought a cardo in-store, when I went to install the Bluetooth, I found out that the shell of the foam on the inside was cracked! The helmet was obviously used and abused prior to me receiving it. The safety of the helmet was compromised. When I contacted cyclegear about it. They charged me for a whole new helmet instead of just sending me a replacement. Between the price of the helmet and the $800 i spent in-store, I won't be returning. They obviously didn't care to make their wrong, a-right, with the safety of the helmet being compromised. They screwed it up. "Open box" description says --the item won't be in original box or have original bag/manuals. You instead get a used, broken helmet. Had i not bought the cardo i wouldn't have known and could had made a differencehad I been in an accident. Shame on you cyclegear!
The team working at this location is always amazing, always upbeat, amazing attitudes, and always helpful. As a relatively new rider, only about a year in with 8500 miles, they're always have patience with me and explain the products they suggest and why they're suggesting them.

Im impressed. They are well made boots, that are flexible yet strong. I snug the laces around the foot then lightly do the open hook lacing around the ankle and they are solid. Im glad i spent the extra and got real boots unlike what ive tried on from name brands and local shops. I imagine them only improving after a little breaking in. Thank you, Stoked.
I came to cycle gear not knowing exactly what boots I wanted, but knowing my riding style I had an employee throw me some recommendations. The one name I did know was alpinestars smx v3 but they didn't have those in store. Fortunately the worker knew of an adjacent alpine stars boot that he said would fit the same, Sure enough two days later my order for smx v3s came in and they fit just like what i tried in store.
The guy who set me up at cycle gear was and is extremely helpful as I was trying on stuff. He was most helpful with the pants though in getting the right size for the mark. Would 100% shop again in the future after getting my Motorcycle.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
