It took 5 days to ship the tire the equivalent of a 5hr drive in my car. First the package was delayed due to a missing label, then it was delayed for an unknown reason. The order was placed on Sunday, Shipped Monday, but wasn't received until Friday. The staff immediately got it mounted for me, since my wheel had been sitting at the store since Wednesday, the day it was suppose to arrive. Cycle gear customer service was great, FedEx dropped the ball.

Lynnwood Cycle Gear has their stuff together. Other companies should look to Lynnwood cycle gear so they can find out what customer service really is. The staff is A++
Great customer service up until I wasn't happy with the mounting of the new tires, felt like you got my money and I didn't matter to you any more. Just a it is what it is attitude.
Good and easy to find what I was looking for. Web site search made it easy to find what I was looking for.
I bought the Terra Evo Low boots. I am size 10.5 wide. The European size 45 fits pretty well.
Fast shipping overall great experience
Matches my new mustang seat perfectly.
Formed to the contour of the fender right away. No need to set it in the hot sun.
They didn't have it stock so mailed it to me saved me another trip! Fast delivery
Really have to search for items related to your ride sometimes

Everyone and everything about Cycle gear is perfect! Everyone at cycle gear is very helpful and knowledgeable and patient even with a newbie like me!
I ordered 2 new tires for my bike at the store. The staff was friendly and fairly helpful. When the tires came in, I brought in the old ones to have them mounted. The turn around time was same day, which made me happy. When I got the tire home and started to install them back on the bike I noticed one was mounted in the wrong direction. It was 4 pm on a Saturday night and I had planned to ride the next day. I loaded up the tire and raced down to the store. When I came in they greeted me promptly and I told them the story. They quickly apologized and said they would fix it for me in about a half hour. This was good news, as it allowed me to ride on Sunday. My point to this is that people make mistakes, its how its handled after is what was important to me, and they made it right, and that's the way it should be. I will continue to shop at my local Pleasanton store.
It's nice to have options rather than going through the dealership. Road hazard protection is a plus for me due to the one time I bought a new $300 rear tire for my cbr1000rr and the dealer telling me that I need a new one 2 months after because of a screw!
I ordered a face shield from my local store on a Friday afternoon and had it in my hands the following Monday before noon.
Impressive.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
