Ordered 10 shirts that were sent and not what I ordered. Tried to return them but was told would only get a partial credit since they would not refund customization (pocket added to shirts). Spent 5 days trying to work it out since they incorrectly filled the order. Was told multiple times would receive a callback or some response. NONE. After 5 attempts to rectify the problem, I had to send the shirts back and dispute the order. This company may well have provided the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. And one would think for a first time customer with an order approaching $1000 they would have responded to their error in a different manner.
In the past, CT shirts have been exceptional in quality and looks. For my last order, I decided to add pockets to the 5 shirts for an additional $15. When they finally arrived, they looked terrible, and I was so disappointed. The pockets were puckered on each shirt, and the material was cheap. I spoke with a customer representative who told me to send them back for full refund. I did, and I just now received an evoucher for future purchases! That's not a refund! I called to ask for an evoucher refund, but was denied. The company did not stand behind their promise and mislead the customer.

I cannot overstate how much I love my Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. They fit perfectly and look amazing. This was my second order with them. I will be purchasing from them again.
Ordered three "No Iron" shirts on their $99 promo as the patterns looked interesting. Arrived promptly, but shirts from the factory were wrinkled in the plastic; not a good sign. Even more wrinkled out of the drier, and then still a bit wrinkled after ironing them. Wore one once, returned all three. Not up to snuff compared to the LL Bean and Lands End no iron shirts I usually wear. Disappointed.
It is highly disappointing that your shirts arrived in a creased fashion. Our Non Iron Technology kicks in after the garment has been dried. When hung to cool, the creases should disappear, without need of ironing prior to wearing. We're sorry this wasn't your experience but hope, knowing this, you will have the confidence to give us another try.

I purchased a "Blue" custom made shirt, and following three or four washes I noticed that three of the panels had started to yellow. I contacted Customer services, who gave me a email address and told me to attach two photographs,. So far so good. Now after two months, three more phone calls, with "Oh haven't they contacted you yet Sir?" I now realise nothing is going to happen. I will never buy from them again. I will not stop them wasting their money sending me catalogues..

Good quality and fine craftsmanship, fits very well with choice of collar size and sleeve length, as well as fitting style.
Shirts are decent quality cloth, but designed for Slim Fit, these shirts run very narrow and small. My main complaint is that they sew the spare buttons on high above the waist, sometimes in non-matching thread - so additional button stitching is very visible on the front. This is a problem even if the shirts do fit. Red shirt used matching red thread, but Blue shirt used white thread. (see picture of 3XL shirt.) When I complained about the button placement and thread color, they suggested I "just cut the buttons off." When I suggested a return, they said there's a $9 return charge (on a $33 shirt.) I will not be ordering from there again.
Don't let the photos trick you the quality is ok but not even as good as Jos A Bank as an example.
The worst part is SERVICE. So after paying full price I emailed that why the $99 dollar promo wasnt available to me. They said "oh so sorry we will issue a gift certificate..." etc etc. NONE NOTHING!
My advise: if you CAN NOT keep a promise to customer, don't do it its BAD business.

This company is unethical in their business practices. I received an email promoting their 3/$99 shirts and clicked on the link to purchase 6 shirts. Throughout the whole checkout process the sale price showed in my cart and it never asked for a promo code. When I checked out the sale price was removed and my credit card was charged for the full amount. I immediately chatted with their customer service and was told I would get a refund in 2-3 business days. Never got the refund so chatted with them again. In the end they told me that it could take a couple weeks to get my STORE E CREDIT, not a refund on my credit card. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told it had already gone through a supervisor and that this was my only option. So this company charged me about twice what I was supposed to pay and then kept my money, only giving a store credit. I reported them to the BBB but the company never even responded to their complaint. Proceed with caution!
I bought a shirt (my regular size) for $39.99 but was charged $120. Had to reach out to customer service to get it resolved but they charged additional $15 for shipping. The shirt was too long and loose; initiated a return and was charged $8 for return.
This is not a good service from Charles Tyrwhitt. I paid $22 for nothing.
Won't be buying again nor recommend anyone.
So Charles Tyrwhitt is my go for shirts. They are every bit as comfortable, durable and stylish as any of my other much more expensive shirts. In fact I'm the last couple of years I've bought from no one else.
As far as customer service goes, they're TOPS!
I did not receive an order that was marked as delivered in an email. I called and was fully refunded ON THE SPOT!
I guess there will simply always be complainers no matter the quality of the product.
I'm very pleased with the two Moreno Wool polo jumpers that I purchased. Vey nice smooth wool and nice colors. I expected a longer wait, coming from London, but they came a week earlier than the website estimated.
Sales person try to rip off with values of goods.
Be careful to purchase with this company.
Got poor experience.
Phone rep seemed confused or incompetent. Return/exchange policies awful and overpriced (they appear to overcharge for return shipping so it goes into their coffers). "The shirts fit a man that is 6 feet tall." That's a quote from CT rep. I asked about taller sizes and he said the shirts do not fit anyone taller than 6 feet.
If you're reading this wondering if you should buy shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt, please don't! If your package is lost in any way, CT will not help you resolve it. Because the packages go overseas, USPS tracking and resolution methods don't work. You're dependent on CT to help, and they don't help. This is one of the best cases of caveat emptor - if you don't mind rolling the dice and maybe getting your shirts, maybe not, and being out a couple hundred dollars, then CT is your game! Otherwise, please protect yourself and don't do business with CT.
Also be aware that all their customer service reps are liars. Of note, Keir Lockyer-Webb is particularly adept at obfuscation. If you call or email, there's no recourse - don't expect any action from them. In short, if there's a problem, you're screwed. You're best off to take it up with your credit card company.

As a new customer I was offered £15 of my next purchase which must be over £60. When I made the order there was no way that I could use the discounted promise of £15.

Very dissatisfied with the process. Ordered my regular size and two of the three shirts arrived with a $19.21 shipping and handling charge attached. My 3 shirts for $89.00 turned out to cost $89.69 for two shirts and the third shirt was back ordered with more charges to be added to that. Tried to exchange the two shirts received and they were out of stock. Cancelled the entire order and requested a full refund. Lesson learned to stay away
I got on some mailing list offer from Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts, and reviewed their offering for men's long-sleeve dress shirts. Ultimately, I opted to purchase a three-shirt package price offering. Two of the three shirts arrived relatively quickly (although I'm not sure I realized that they were actually being shipped from the U. K.). The remaining shirt is on back order, which I was notified of - with delivery expected in November. The shipping charges and the price of the shirts themselves were not unreasonable. The two shirts (one dress shirt / one casual shirt) were both good quality material and the described sizes were true to what I ordered and fit quite well. The one thing that really bugged me - was that both shirts lacked a front pocket. Maybe these are the style/custom in the U. K., but the lack of the pocket - had me disliking both of the shirts, just for that simple reason. If you buy these shirts, you'll get a good quality product, but be prepared to be annoyed by having to find someplace else to stick your pen and pencil.
Their phone staff was not rude just not helpful and to me seemed bored and bothered to be speaking to me. I have placed orders with CT over many years and never experienced such bad service. CT is not what it used to be. I most likely will never place another order with them. They have become to me a disappointment.
In Australia we do not have any Charles Tyrwhitt shopfronts; we order on line & hope the shirts fit. If they don't you return & get a fill refund. Having gone through this scenario, I was pleased to see a Charles Tyrwhitt shop front at the 911 memorial Shopping center in New York. Within 20 minutes Marielle had me measured & sized in a 16 1/2 with a 1/2 inch to be taken off the sleeves for a great fit. We had 8 shirts set up with my preferred classic collar & a range of colors. Very Impressive. If you are down town - make sure you seek this lady out!
