Honestly, this company is a JOKE! I placed an order almost a month ago, still didnt receive a shipping tracking number. Ive been emailing with the customer service for weeks now and all the time I hear the same thing... we will contact our shipping team, we cant send it because its a remote address, let me speak to our design team, etc. Their explanations about the shipping, costume making (apparently they make every costume from scratch... i call B. S), and other problems. I told them couple of times that I need the costume for a special event and they were promising to send it and Im still waiting even though I paid for express shipping. I tried to contact the office in NYC, they are not picking up the phone or calling back.
The Customer Service said that DHL doesnt deliver to remote addresses and honestly, Ive never had a problem with DHL before. You spend so much money on a costume, wig, and other things and they dont care. SO IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEY WORTH, DONT ORDER FROM THEM. THEY ARE NOT ONLY A JOKE BUT ALSO CHEATERS! If I could, I wouldnt even give one star. If you dont believe me in what Im saying, I have emails to prove how ridiculous these people are.

I ordered and paid extra for a tailor made costume, once it arrived in the mail it was so obviously not tailor made. I sent in picture evidence and Cosplay Shopper blamed me for their mistake, and would not respond to my emails. And now I am stuck with a cosplay that does not come anywhere close to fitting me, and I'm not getting any of my money back.

Do NOT order from this company. They are not a direct seller and do not know specifics about their merchandise. Ordered a Halloween costume and not only was it a month late, it did not include everything pictured. Customer service is absolutely useless and expect you to be understanding that you paid for something that wasnt as described on the website. I cant wait til they get shut down, total scammers. Below is the last useless email I got from them. Basically theft!

After contacting with the manufacturer, he said that the costume is not inluded the mask. But the website link of this item is stated everything showing in the picture, so there is some mistake in this item, we will improve it and make the adjustments. Hope your kind understanding in this matter, thanks. Once again, sorry for any inconvenience caused.

My experience with Cosplay Shopper wasn't the best. I ordered three costumes for a convention a month away. I intentionally looked for cosplay that was located in the US so I wouldn't have to worry about shipping. I wish I did more research prior. Although they appear located in New York, that is not where they make the costumes. I kept emailing them asking for anow eta for when the costumes would be done and shipped and they wouldn't reply with direct answers to my questions. They gave me tracking numbers that didn't even work, I worried that I wouldn't get the costumes in time and that I wasted $213. This company needs to inform the customers more about timing, where they are located, and the return policy. I actually ended up getting the costumes the night of the convention, so I traveled back home to pick them up. They turned out pretty good considering the price. The clothes were a bit to short for me though, wish they'd ask how long your torso and skirt line is. It fit really well though, so I ended up changing this review. Just be cautious ordering from here for custom tailoring and do it way in advance!

This is my first time buying a cosplay costume, and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality, customer service and the speed of the delivery.
Customer support has kept me in touch constantly, and even accommodated my somewhat unreasonable request to have it delivered in less than 10 days due to unforeseen circumstances (Sorry about that!).

The quality of the materials used is outstanding and the costume was very well made, although I did notice a few parts where the fabric was slightly frayed.

The only downside is that due to the sheer amount of different parts which make up the costume, putting it on the first time can be very confusing, and the supplied guide doesn't do it enough justice (some pictures would be nice). In addition, it can get hot very quickly if you wear the costume in warm weather.

However, overall I have found this purchase completely worth the $266 AUD I paid for, and I would do business with Cosplay Shopper again :)

I thought I will give them a try and I regretted it! The costume is cheaply made from China and it don't fit at all. The quality is bad that it don't look the same as shown on their pictures. The shoes will very bad plastic smell. It took 3 weeks for the package to reach me. I requested a return for refund, then they said there is no refund for used items. Right! Stay away from troubles, wouldn't recommend cosplayshopper.com at all

I thought I would give them a try and bought a costume and a wig here 2 months ago. After such a long waiting and many emails sent to them without much responds, I finally got my order. However the costumes are at very bad quality, cloths is so thin and cheap that it is kinda 'see-through'. Very light piece of trash. I emailed them to request for a refund, they do not respond and I would have to dispute the payment myself. Then they emailed me a nasty email cursing me said used costume is not accepted for refund. They are totally a nightmare to deal with, and stay away if you don't want troubles.

I have purchased 2 wigs and a Bleach costume here at cosplayshopper.com. I needed these for a party so that I had placed my order 5 weeks ahead. Unfortunately, after over 1 month of waiting, I am getting nothing. I emailed them few times and I didn't get any responds. Until just now they sent me an email said 1 wig is back-ordered, and the costume is being made that they don't have it ready in stock. I requested a cancellation, but they refused said my order was placed a month ago that they cannot cancel it. They are totally a scam! Now i don't have the things for the coming party, and no refund for my money! I am checking with my bank to see what they can do about it. Please stop them and for those who are thinking to buy here, please don't. A very disappointed girl here v_v
