I purchased a Gucci bag from Cossete in 2021( invoice #*******). When news surfaced on TV accusing them of selling fake products, I promptly emailed them in August 2023 requesting a refund as I don't support the market of fake products and I paid for am original product. Their response came two months later, expressing pride in selling authentic items etc, along with a refund form and a code to send the bag back and saying they would send to an Independent authenticator. I disagreed as at this point they could fake anything, including an Authenticator. Therefore, I did take the bag to an Authenticator myself and obviously the result was what I expected: a fake bag. So, after that and following their previous instructions, I returned the bag using the provided authorization code, the form of refund completed along with the bag. I know they received it because I have a track number. However, till now, I haven't received either my money or the bag. In fact, today they questioned my authenticator and they said they have a policy of refund and return items in place for 7 days. I guess when you sell fake products and you are exposed on national TV you should give people's right back anytime if you want to do the right thing and fix your issues.
It's disheartening when a store fails to uphold honesty, especially in the face of accusations. My advice: avoid purchasing from this store Cossete in Sydney-Australia at The Rocks.

I purchased a YSL bag from Cosette on 10/04/2023. I sent this bag for an authentic check, which turned out to be fake. Cosette claimed that its product was genuine or guaranteed to be fully refunded. I requested a refund and sent the bag back to Cosette on 30/07/2023. They keep saying they will get back to me. However, it has been over three months, and I keep following it up, but there is no hope. I also heard many complaints, and this company was in many articles and current affairs for trading fake products and claiming authenticity.

My YSL bag was independently deemed fake and I sent it back to Cosette after all the media drama came to light. I paid $1,588 for it. They have had my bag since August 2023, it is now November and despite weekly follow ups I have still not received a refund nor a response! They don't answer calls or emails. I have followed up with NSW Fair Trading and will continue to pursue this with any other relevant authorities. This is absolutely disgusting and they should be refunding all the victims of this scam immediately.
The bag has been in "quality control and re-authentication" since August. Mind you I had the bag authenticated by two different service providers in less than 12 hours!
Their response, or lack there of, is both unprofessional, unacceptable and sickening.
This company is a scam, it is misleading and their behaviour is deceptive!

Please don't make same mistakes I did

Fake bags being sold. I have struggled and still struggling to get a refund. Multiple emails emails sent, phone calls and messages to there social media. They won't answer!

Purchased over 2k of bags and I'm yet to get a refund. Both come back as counterfeit

I have certificate and sent them off. They won't corporate at all.

My YSL bag was independently deemed fake and I sent it back to Cosette after all the media drama came to light. They have had my bag for almost 6 weeks and still no refund. They don't answer calls or emails. I have followed up with NSW Fair Trading and will continue to pursue this with any other relevant authorities or fly to Sydney myself! AVOID COSETTE! They should not be allowed to stay open.

My Burberry tote was extremely well priced on Cosette. The online experience was easy and two days it arrived, beautifully packaged. I know there has been controversy around the site in the past, but my experience was only positive. I will use Cosette again.

I ordered an item, 30th Dec 2023 at the time not realizing it was on back order and out of stock, as the days neared closer to my sisters birthday my item didn't arrive I contacted customer service who were helpful in advising it was on back order but assured me it would arrive by early feb and be shipped out to me. By the 9 th of feb,( her birthday was the following day) it had still not arrived and I sent an additional email and was advised on 13th feb, there were further delays. I still have not received my order and it's 14th feb 2024

Customer service were helpful in advising my item is on back order, and then I sent a follow up email to then be advised my item will be further delayed, email and response were prompt
However I still have not received my order and my sister has not received her 40th birthday gift!

My husband just flew to their store in Sydney from Adelaide and was laughed at. Not only do they have my bag as we provided a signed on delivery slip but the customer service person laughed and said she didn't have it as well as mocking him making fun of the paperwork that proves my bag is not legitimate. So not only have they robbed me $2k, they have my bag and they have the absolute audacity to laugh in our face. Your business is unprofessional and disgusting. Treat people with respect and dignity no need to be rude.

This company sold me a fake YSL camera bag as seen on A Current Affair I got mine authenticated to find out its fake! Took 4 weeks to get a response email. I then got the return form and sent the bag with signature upon delivery, they recived the bag 6 weeks ago and still no refund. Takes weeks between response of emails and they keep claiming they have a high amount of returns as there excuse for the delay terrible behaviour from thos company! Think they have run out of money at this point?!

I bought a Gucci bag in 2020, tried to get the authentication receipt from Cosette and they claim they lost this when changing systems.
I then got it authenticated amid the claims against Cosette in the last year (2023) and it came back as counterfeit. I submitted a complaint with the NSW Fair Trading and Cosette took the bag back to re authenticate themselves.
They claim the bag is authentic but refuse to provide me proof of the authentication they had done on the Gucci bag.
Email after email and numerous phone calls/voicemails, I am STILL yet to receive a response from Cosette.
I cannot resell this bag without proof of authentication and how am I supposed to trust Cosette whilst they have HUNDREDS of claims that they have sold other customers counterfeit bags?
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE - rather, go directly to the Designer brand and have peace of mind that you are buying an authentic piece.

I purchased a "designer" handbag from Cosette in March 2022. I got my own authentication certificate from Luxury Authentication Australia and they issued the handbag as COUNTERFEIT. Handbag returned over a month ago & they're still "reauthenticating" a fake! I just want my refund. Dispute made back in August, it's now end of October! Appalling!

I purchased a product but raised concern to staff via phone and email that card and bag did not match. The response was feeble and less than professional, as can be seen in below photo.
I do have a profile with this company but have not purchased any bags from them since this happened.
I also query their Authentication company as RA did supply me a certificate but clearly the card does not match.
This makes the whole process murky and unclear of how management are running this business. Buyer beware!

I had my YSL bag assessed by an independent third party and was advised it was counterfeit. I sent the bag back to Cosette for its own review, per its request. I was advised the independent assessment I paid for couldn't be trusted and that Cosette was comfortable with its supply chain and satisfied that the bag was authentic. I asked for further information regarding the assessment and basis upon which Cosette had drawn its conclusion and have been ignored since late November, despite a number of emails seeking clarification or just a response. Hardly feels like a fair process or outcome.
I have not been offered a refund and do not have the bag.
The complaint has been handled terribly and would not recommend buying anything from Cosette.

I received with good package 📦 and the bags were so stunning

I was sold a FAKE Yves Saint Laurent bag by Cosette Sydney. I ordered an Yves Saint Laurent Envelope Medium Chain bag for $2400. When the bag arrived Inside the box was an Authentication Certificate from LegitGrails (US authentication company) with 3 photos on the certificate with the words authentic #******* as the order number. After looking at my bag and thinking the photos and stamping inside my bag didn't really look like the photos on the certificate. I decided I would get my own authentication for $40 via the same website LegitGrails and send my own photos of the bag and within 2 hours they sent back order #******* with a certificate and the words Fake! Cosette customers service people aren't interested in looking at the evidence that clearly shows the bag to be a fake or investigating it further, they only offered me a refund as i was within my 7 days of purchase. I asked for someone in management to contact me and I haven't heard from anyone. I just wonder how many people are walking around with fake bags from Cosette. Please if you have brought a bag from them please get it checked and if u are thinking of buying one don't bother. It was easy, the shipping however was long for something coming from Australia.l Order bags from overseas and I get it within 3 days.

Won't refund a counterfeit item, have the bag back in their possession and I'm $1600 out of pocket. Don't buy from here, buyer beware. Customer service is a nightmare, no one is responding

Before I placed my order, I came on this website and considered the negative review. But I really wanted the YSL Manhattan Shopping Bag so I took the chance.

Bad move. The buckle which is the highlight of the bag is badly tarnished. There's even scratches on the leather and on the buckle!

How can a professional luxury bag company sell such a second rated product as brand new?!

Don't even get me started on the authenticity of the product. I can't be bothered to check now but all my other luxury brand bags comes with a proper plastic brand issued authenticity card.

But this is a slip of printed paper - I have Chanel, Gucci, YSL, Ferragamo. No other brands give their authenticity card in that sloppy printed manner.

Seriously. Don't bother with this company. I'm so upset with my purchase!

I have to chase business for a refund of nearly $4000 that they are holding on to. They said in email they will refund it nearly a week ago and just crickets after that. Not even responding my emails. Lodged a complaint with Fair Trade NSW

Purchased a Dior handbag late 2022 and got it authenticated by a third party authenticator following the news about them selling fakes. It came back as counterfeit, but when I went in-store, they told me it was 'company policy' to authenticate on their end first before issuing a full refund.

I followed up a week and a half later in-store and they told me the bag was with a consignment store so I called said consignment store only to find out that the bag was not with them and they had no affiliation with Cosette. The staff had blatantly lied to me about re-authenticating and they're probably just holding onto the bag with no intention of doing anything at all.

Have emailed numerous times with no response and am now waiting to hear back from Fair Trading NSW. These guys are scammers and I'm still chasing my full refund.

They asked me to return a fake bag for re authentication. The are now not returning communication. So now they have stolen my fake bag back. This has been months. I've been to trading standards and are in the process of elevating the issue further. Terrible headache to deal with. Their phone has been permanently switched to go straight to voicemail. They told me at the start of august when they received my bag back that authentication would go up to 10 business days. I've sent so many emails to them but hardly ever get a response. If I do it is from Dan asking for more time, probably using the guide that they are busy with all the returns they've had but more likely just trying to buy more time before the company gets shut down but either way nothing ever materialises. The company hasn't responded to none of my emails for weeks and weeks. My wife's birthday is close to Christmas and this was a present for her last year. When I returned this product, all tags and everything was still attached and had never been used. As Christmas approaches this year my best advice to anyone would be to use the brands own official website for making purchases as they will sell you a fake, u return it and then they steal it back to get rid of the evidence. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL.

After publications in the media about some handbags from Cosette being allegedly non-genuine I ordered an authentication. According to the attached Certificate from Luxury Authentications the bag that I purchased is a counterfeit. Cosette did not accept my request for reimbursement but offered another authentication instead. I have concerns that any authentication process initiated by Cosette may be conflicted and not independent and would like to receive a refund.
