Copper chef fry pan sticks and handle gets hot even when used on stove top.
I wrote the company and got a reply of "use medium heat"...(that's all I cook on.) Use an oil to help sticking, use a potholder when touching the handle.
My pan looks nice, and fancy but...
Tonight my husband says throw it out!
I do not recommend this product.
I was cooking a fried egg in Cooper chef 10 inch pan on medium heat, I was talking to my husband when I notice steam coming from the handle of the pan. Thank goodness I was looking because my hand would probably got brunt. I cut the heat off but the steam kept coming from the handle for another 3 mins. I called Cooper Chef to see if there was a recalled. I spoke to a superior in customer service who stated there was no recall. She asked where I purchased the pan, Target and how long ago did I buy the pan about 10 months and if I had my receipt, I do not save receipts. I can send the pan back and send them a money order for $6.99. Please be carefully because you may get burnt..
We purchased a copper chef frying pan, after about 2 weeks, food started sticking. It was returned. Our claim has been repudiated as they claim we scoured the surface. Only warm water & dishwasher was used to clean. A plastic egg lifter was used for cooking. This has got to be the worst frying pan we have ever purchased & I would not, under any circumstances, recommend it to anyone.
I am always seeking a more fat-free way to cook. The videos make these pans look like the best thing ever. Warning if you believe them and use metal or put these in the dishwasher they won't keep that non-stick and they do get scratches. Plus they look a lot bigger in the videos than they actually are. Especially the titan.
I purchased a pan & induction unit... The induction never has worked. Always shuts off. Have followed instructions to the letter. Does not work. Started trying to get it replaced immediately after receiving. No responses... finally... Got a response & was ultimately told... PAST WARRANTY have to PURCHASE ANOTHER. This is NOT satisfactory to me. I love the pans. Would like to have the induction that WORKS...
I received a pan for Christmas several years ago. It worked great for several years. All of a sudden it stopped being non-stick. I could not find the warranty anywhere on copper chef website so contacted them. Without rock solid proof of purchase there is no warranty.
Is there a problem with counterfeit copper chefs? I prefer companies with a no hassle warranty program.
Could be a five star rating with a better warranty.
My boyfriend buy the square casserole pan from copper chef with a promise to don't stick nothing we was watching all the videos on tv. And was a big mistake every time we cook something it's sticking on the pan we try cooking with no oil and try to cook with oil too but nothing works simply no good product. And after we cook it's too hard. To clean.
To wash it we leave the pan with water in hopping we can clean better after cook but no. Nothing works Is not easy even to clean too
For me is not a good product.
I just love them. Second time I got them. When they go bad I will buy another set. The only brand I love.
I can't believe you're still allowed to sell your garbage. I'm had my frying pan for 4 days and the food sticks and stains every time. Now I can't get it clean so I have to throw in away. GARBAGE!
I bought 2 different sets of this cookware about a year ago. Several of the pots did chip. I notified the company and sent pictures of the items. They refused to replace them because I lost the receipts. I was more than willing to send them the ones that were damaged. All I expected was for them to be replaced. So much for lifetime warranty.
I bought their products with 5 years warranty,,, garbage stuff... after a few months it was a piece of trash... now they want me to pay for shipping and another $10 of handling to return it... ridiculous...
In a very short amount of use these pans begin to have food stick which is very hard to remove. Going through the process of re-seasoning them does not work. Customer service reps do not honor the money back guarantee.
Having purchased more than one product & they have records of online purchases they refuse to deal with a flawed product unless I have a purchase receipt don't buy don't buy if ya do put your receipts in safe deposit box
Can't say anything good about product as I never got it... was "assaulted" by infomercial to purchase dozen products when I only wanted one... finally got disgusted and called back to cancel order. This was only an hour or two after I was placing the order. This was end of January. They sent order anyway and I brought it back to post office. Here it is in July and I haven't received my refund. In addition, they took another payment from my bank. You can't talk to anyone from US... they are all in Philippines, Hong Kong or such. Deceitful company!
Not only are the pans bad but the recipes are not worth the effort and they suck. "Eric's Italian Meatballs" smelled like wet grass that had just been mowed. I never knew what's supposed to be Italian marinara could ever smell like that. What a waste of food. I took one bite and it was bland. But the smell was so bad I just threw it all out. I've made better marinara and meatballs in my apartment after an evening at the bar in my college days with a jar of old world Rague spaghetti sauce doctored up. Don't waste your time or money. Just take your chances with google recipes and stick with store bought pans. Stay away!
Ordered cake pans. Received only one. Called customer service 4 weeks ago and was told second pan to be shipped. Business cancelled my order with no communication and never refunded my money. After a 45 min hold was told the money would be returned to my card but I couldn't be supplied with written confirmation of return. Placed on hold again and line disconnected.
Was fine the first use but everything sticks now we have to spray the pans before using them, why is that? In your advertisement you must use a new pan every time you display a test on them! We have 3 items from your company and we are very disappointed! *******@yahoo.com not that I expect any response? Thanks
I was ripped off the $100. In grocery store coupons I was promised when I ordered CopperChef. I spend much of my own time trying to accomplish this and never did get the on-line site to work as directed.
I always use the plastic utensils but my Copper Chef pans are sticking bad. The company does not honor their warranty. How can they get by stating they last a lifetime or your money back guaranteed?
I would love to get my money back so I can get them replaced!
I love the pans... I have 2 sets... in one set the pan has bubble... it's obvious it is a defect. Now I have to pay to send back and a check for almost 15.00. Ridiculous. 25 fir a defective pan. Cant take back cause it was a gift. Ridiculous. I will never but or refer. Lost my trust. Aweful! Very disappointed in a good product. Backto Rachael Ray.
Answer: They are not responsive. It would cost too much to replace all the pans we've bought that failed to live up to their guarantee. Notice there are no more commercials...
Answer: Agreed. One time cooking on my gas range scratched the bottom. The coating is not good and I could not get 4 burgers in the pan as advertised. I can go on but I think you get the pictures. Nothing works like they advertise!
