Used to be good

I have been waiting for my order for over 3 weeks for the last few times. They promise that you will receive your package in 3 to 5 days - didn't happen yet for me in the last 2 years.

Buyer Beware!

I recently purchased 4 boxes of contact lenses and only was on my first pair when after a couple weeks of wearing them I noticed almost from the first few days that they had a film over the lenses. Only two hours a day were somewhat clear then after that they were blurry and irritating. I reached out to contacts express for them to help. Asked if maybe they were a defective batch. They said; " send us a copy of your prescription so we can make sure you ordered correctly". So I did. They emailed me back to say only this: " return the unopened boxes for a refund". So, 2 of the 4 boxes they will refund and the other two boxes I have to eat the cost. So I took another pair of lenses from the opened boxes to try them and same issue! Blurry film after 2 hours. They emailed and basically in a nut shell; The manufacturer can't open the remaining lenses to see if they're defective or it voids the warranty. So I pay over $255.00 for 6 mos supply and they Don't stand behind the products they sell.
BUYER BEWARE IF YOU DECIDE TO BUY FROM CONTACTS EXPRESS, DON'T EXPECT ANY LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THEM. THEY HAVE NONE!

A return label will be sent in a separate email so you may return to us the 2 unopened boxes to us for exchange. We do not manufacture or control the quality of the contact lenses in any way. We are an authorized retail seller and the lenses that we sell originate from the same manufacturer as you would get them from your doctor's office. Be kindly informed that the lenses are considered medical products. Because of this all the authorized online contact lens sellers are not allowed to open the box for a close inspection therefore the warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer. We kindly ask you to return the 2 opened boxes to the manufacturer for credit, using the instructions in our email. We can certainly understand the inconvenience however by following our instructions you will obtain credit/replacements on all 4 boxes purchased.

I ordered my contact lenses on May 23rd and it is currently June 3rd and I have yet to receive my contact lenses. When checking out, I specifically chose and PAID FOR 1-3 business day shipping. After a week and a half of waiting, I emailed them to find out what was taking so long. I got an email saying,"Oops, sorry, they're delayed. There's nothing we can do about it". They didn't send me an email or tell me that anything would be delayed nor did they keep me updated on the progress. If I would have known that they were going to take 2 weeks when they promised 1-3 days, I would have ordered them through my optometrist (yes I would have paid extra but at least they would have been there on time). Next, I emailed them on Friday to ask when I would receive them and they said Monday and that I would receive a tracking number. It is currently Saturday and no word from them, no tracking number, and clearly no contacts.

I'm graduating from university in a few days and then leaving to Asia for a month. Guess who is going to have to cross the stage and scuba dive in glasses. This gal. This company is legitimately ruining life milestones for me (and yes, 2 weeks is plenty of time to order contact lenses) with their lack of customer service.

So save yourself the trouble and order through a different company. This is an absolute joke of a company. Their customer service is infuriating and they lie about shipping times. Unprofessional and unreliable. If I actually receive my contact lenses by Monday and the company starts taking my order seriously, I'll revise this review but until then, stay away from contactsexpress.ca

I got the same great product that I always wear, delivered in a few days to St John's. I called in and the representative was very professional, extremely polite, happy to help and knowledgeable. Never buy your contacts from the doctor that wrote your prescription. Not just because of the higher price, but it is morally and ethically wrong to be subject to captivity by a prescriber.

I used to use vision pro but decided to see price difference and was shocked. The same order on other websites was $220 approximately, while the price I paid here was $153. The order was easy to do, I got a quick confirmation but it went in my junk folder so had to rescue it. The order arrived less than a week, I ordered Thursday night and it was delivered on Wednesday, that's with the Monday being a holiday.

Would definitely buy my refill here.

This site is great! I called them for a discount on shipping, and they credited me back a few bucks right away. I ordered my contacts on a Thursday and I got them on the following Monday! Super fast, user-friendly site, and the contacts through them were $20 cheaper than the discount clinics in my area, including Wal-mart!

I was really leery ordering contacts online and on the advice of a friend I ordered my contacts from contacts express. The date of my order was April 3rd and I finally receive them on the 24th. I had emailed a few times and was told they were shipping and I also called and I was told they were shipping. Once person told me that a box was damaged on one call and another email I was told they don't sell many of these contacts so they had to order from their supplier, yet their website claims fully stocked! I was blatantly lied to a couple of times. There was never a follow up by either. I was afraid to try the contacts for fear there was something wrong but they seem to be alright. I would never order through these people again.
