“COMPANIES HOUSE IS ACTING ILLEGALLY, PUBLISHING PRIVATE INFORMATION AND PUTTING YOUR LIFE AT RISK.”

I registered a company thru an agency in the UK, I was never informed and had NEVER agreed to make my personal information public available for criminals. Companies House allows, maybe even pays criminals to publish on scam website your personal and business information. This is ILLEGAL, this is done without consent. Also a lot of crimes have been committed stealing data. THIS MUST BE STOPPED. DO NOT REGISTER WITH COMPANY HOUSE. COMPANY HOUSE IS A CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION. I WROTE TO COMPANIES HOUSE > My information has been spreading on the internet, that comes from you, which does not belong to the European Union. > > I advise that you read the Data Protection Act and act according to the Law: https://www.gov.uk/data-protection/the-data-protection-act. > > Also, I would like to complain that my data kept with you is not safe nor secure. > > I hope to solve this matter as soon as possible and look forward to a response, so that I can take this matter further to the court and government. THE ANSWER I RECEIVED IS UNACCEPTABLE. I would also like to explain regarding us providing your personal details on our Companies House Service (formerly known as our Beta service), I can confirm that this is in line with the Government's commitment to free data. This means all public digital data held on the UK register of companies is now accessible free of charge, on its new public beta search service. This provides access to over 170 million digital records on companies and directors including financial accounts, company filings and details on directors and secretaries throughout the life of the company. Making this data freely available for the first time, will make it even easier for businesses and members of the public to research and scrutinise the activities and ownership of companies and connected individuals; as well as opening up opportunities for linking data. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/free-companies-house-data-to-boost-uk-economy Turning to the Data Protection Act, while that Act protects 'personal' information it does contain certain exemptions. Section 34(c) states that personal data is exempt if the data controller is duty bound to make it available to the public. In effect, the information we collect and retain about directors of limited companies is exempt from the Data Protection principles. I realise that you will be disappointed with my response, unfortunately I cannot advise you further. However, I hope I have at least clarified the Registrar's position and you know the legal parameters within which Companies House must operate under Parliamentary legislation.
