Like the previous comment, I think the negative reviews may have been confused about where they ordered from. There are some other companies out there with VERY similar names. I have had nothing but positive experience with this company. Read on...

This place really has it together. I ordered 32 lb of coffee Monday afternoon, and just received UPS notification that it will be delivered today (Wednesday) 48 hours later. We have ordered from them several times before and the service is always this fast. And the quality of the coffee is also tops. The number of varieties is almost overwhelming and they have fair trade varieties. We order whole bean and grind it fresh, but they also sell ground coffee. They also have green coffee beans if you are into roasting. I particularly like the rating they give for each coffee: Roast Type, Body, and Acidity. I prefer coffee with bold flavor and low acidity and coffeebeandirect makes selecting easy. An order of 25 lb or more gets you free and fast shipping. It's not the slow boat shipping that you get from some other places. Check out the tea also. We place periodic orders and share with friends and relatives to get over the 25 lb minimum. No, I don't work for them or their advertising agency. I just like great coffee at a great price and believe that an outfit providing such good service, quality, and value should get lots of credit for it. There are so many complaints and negative feedback out there - I am glad to be able to post some that is positive. This is as good as it gets.

I have a feeling the past two posts may have been confused about where they ordered from! Coffee Bean Direct never sells substandard coffee, their customer service is second to none, and they are always willing to help a dissatisfied customer! PLEASE go check out the over 3,000 reviews of coffeebeandirect.com on Google! You will see how good they really are!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are out to cheat and take your money and send you substandard coffee. They sent us ground coffee instead of the beans we ordered. They then refuse to exchanged the grounds for the beans we ordered. Since we were stuck with this coffee we tried it and found out it was not Jamaican Blue Mountain but a mixture of god knows what. Now I understand why they sent us ground coffee. They know how to cheat. The credit card companies will not help you if it comes to quality issues. We were stuck with a charge of almost $200 and coffee that stinks. Save your money and order from someone else. There is no deals to be had here, only the feeling like you have been taken.

Beware Coffee Bean Direct - I ordered online from them. At end of sale no confirmation came so I called the phone number I had written down (which was a local shop who sells on CBD). They had no order record so I ordered from them over the phone. Coffee came, was wonderful. Meanwhile, the first order (from the online Coffee Bean Direct website) had indeed been processed and came - but was in bean form... which I would never have ordered. When I called Coffee Bean Direct I was left on hold (after saying I needed a refund)... I called back and woman argued with me because of the confusion of no confirmation number the first attempt to order. Should it matter? Two orders came so I have too much coffee. Period. The coffee, box, and invoice I called CBD regarding was only THE issue. Right? They charged me $8.50 to send wrong type of coffee. They insisisted I ordered it. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? I had to ask for mgr... she said "thats me - sorry!" I asked for owner and he was worse! He laughed when I insisted I receive refund for shipping also since it was their error in wrong merchandise.
He rudely said you didnt know who the hell you were ordering from! I kept saying I wouldnt order whole bean; am I lying? The guy laughed and sneered... I could say he wouldnt be in business long.
