Beware Coffee Bean Direct - I ordered online from them. At end of sale no confirmation came so I called the phone number I had written down (which was a local shop who sells on CBD). They had no order record so I ordered from them over the phone. Coffee came, was wonderful. Meanwhile, the first order (from the online Coffee Bean Direct website) had indeed been processed and came - but was in bean form... which I would never have ordered. When I called Coffee Bean Direct I was left on hold (after saying I needed a refund)... I called back and woman argued with me because of the confusion of no confirmation number the first attempt to order. Should it matter? Two orders came so I have too much coffee. Period. The coffee, box, and invoice I called CBD regarding was only THE issue. Right? They charged me $8.50 to send wrong type of coffee. They insisisted I ordered it. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT? I had to ask for mgr... she said "thats me - sorry!" I asked for owner and he was worse! He laughed when I insisted I receive refund for shipping also since it was their error in wrong merchandise.
He rudely said you didnt know who the hell you were ordering from! I kept saying I wouldnt order whole bean; am I lying? The guy laughed and sneered... I could say he wouldnt be in business long.
