Excellent service. I was seen immediately. Staff super friendly and willing to help you on your visit. Paperwork was filled out fr me as I felt so sick. Dr was great. Explained everything I needed to know reg my meds. Positive experience and thanks to all the staff for making my visit hassle free. Service was a 5*
As a professor who calls the clinic to ask for verification of a medical note from two f my students, it was appalling to call the first time, and get the response from a kind representative who politely cooperated. Then literally five minutes later I called the same number *******896), only to receive a rushed, rude reply from another rep saying:"oh absolutely no, I cannot give information it is private!". She was speaking ultra fast not to make herself understood. Unacceptable! Obviously there is something wrong there.
Paid for tests they didn't do due to their own errors, and won't issue a refund.
Terrible experience, made worse by billing department who don't respond, and can't do anything without a 15 day 'Medical Review'. There are like 5 of these places within a mile…go to any other facility for medical care: it will be cheaper and competent enough to test a urine sample.

Testing service…ordered wrong tests, and put in wrong container so couldn’t process anything.
They sent me fake bills long after I paid in full for my service. They provide medical treatment but try and take advantage of people. They're a Total scam company that needs to be investigated by the New York Attorney Generals. Unethical to the extreme.
Tip for consumers:
Only use in an emergency and you have no other options.
They’re a total scam who preys on their customers’ ignorance about their moral character and business model in my opinion.

Paid cash for some services. Asked to pay in full. Afterwards, I got another bill from them. They do this repeatedly check their other reviews online. Shady, unethical business practices that should be illegal.
CityMD scam! My wife and I visited CityMD assuming it was a reputable company. We paid the asked for fee for the visit and they referred us to their recommended doctor. Two months later they sent us a bill for $100.00. So, I called to ask why they were billing us even though we paid their asked for fee upon leaving their business. They said that in the fine print of what we signed upon entering their business, that they had the right to bill us another $100.00 that was not disclosed or asked for at the time of the visit. This to me is a scam and everyone should be aware of how they do business.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use CityMD

I went to City MD, 80 West 125 St, NYC with bad infection. After taking a urine sample, I was told I had an infection & was given a prescription. Took the prescription & later learned it did not address my bacteria. Took a 2nd prescription. Followed up to see how to proceed. Received letter with a phone #. Person referred to, did not have medical info and same for 2nd.Called manager of the City MD Branch. Dr was to call back in 10 min & never did. Would never go back. I am a senior citizen!
Tip for consumers:
If I need this type of service in the future, I will go to an Urgent Service that is afiillated with a quality hospital.
My daughter had to take the stairs instead of school elevator thanks to city md since they wouldn't fill out forms where she needed extra care. I am so disappointed
Utica ave location, don't go to Dr Robles! No compassion, heartless, concerned with money NOT service... I went there for a physical and he refused to sign and stamp my paper work, saying sorry, I can't help you... This was due to a positive TB test, but the chest x ray came back negative and is good for 10 years, that did not matter to him... $225 for the visit, out of pocket and $508 mystery charge billed to me SMH, # never again...! And the intake person at the front desk, he referred me to the competition across the street! Lol... wow!
We were barely greeted by Dr. Greg. He did not want to take my 85yr old mother's blood pressure manually when the automatic one malfunctioned. When I asked him to, he replied, "I could but we don't have to." I asked again, and he said, "She is 85 and has Alzheimer's, so who cares?" "What?" I said. He repeated his answer, "who cares?" Well, I do! And then he took it. When the visit was over the young assistant apologized for him! This was a most disturbing visit, and I will NEVER go back there again!
Dealt with Michele today at City Ford. Didn't know what to expect with the fact that we had no idea what was wrong with our SUV ( Ford Edge). It was a pretty easy fix (new battery). She dealt with it quite effectively, from diagnostics right to getting it done. Dealing with the extended warranty, the dealership getting it paid for and getting our vehicle back to us in the parking lot. Just an all round pleasant experience. FYI even went the extra mile and got the recall done while it was in the shop. Big shout out and Thank-you to Michelle in service…
I can belive that dr at city md did not recognized Lyme disease and put me on the wrong treatment! Told me that he is not sure if it was a bite or ingrown hair! Not worry about and follow up with my dr... I wasted so much time before being to put on the right antibiotic... what kind of personnel they hire?
The Staff at the New dorp Location Staten Island New York Has gone above and Beyond being Helpful My visit I was in need of a test on my leg the front desk called 3 yes 3 different locations to get me an appointment for test that same day before i left there and I Thank You! Today My 92 year old father inlaw who is visiting us from out of town was in need of a script Again the whole staff was so helpful and gave him a script and not only found him a primary care doctor but also called and made appointment for Him. I wish every staff in a doctors office would care for people the way City MDs Staff Does again My sincere Thank you to all!

A year ago, I went in for some pretty routine tests at CityMD on 14th St. In NYC. I enquired if these tests were covered under my insurance. I was assured that they would be.
A few months later, I got a bill for over $800!?!
It was explained that the submission was coded incorrectly and needed to be corrected and re-submitted. I have now been making calls for almost a YEAR and cannot get through to anyone who can resolve this. No one in relevant departments picks up the phone.
Truly a nightmare.
As poorly run an office as I have ever encountered.
I would give this health provider 1 start. They just sent me a bill for $100 after 2 years for completing a covid test that was fully covered at that time. According to the new bill they charged my health insurance company $300 and try to charge me an extra $100 for a covid test. How much can one charge for a covid test and why suddenly after 2 years?
The female manager at Rego Park was smirking at my questions, was very rude, discussed my situation very loudly with her coworkers, and came back repeatedly with confusing information without checking with me on what I wanted. The nurse was really aggressive, too, and gave vibes that she hated her job there. I stayed there for over 1 hour on a very simple visit. She needs to be much more clear along with the doctor. They shredded my document when I said I would return to provide documentation and the person on the phone hung up on me. I had to go the next day because they couldn't do the procedures 3 hours before closing even though closing time was at 8:30 pm and I was there prior to 3 hours before closing. Very frustrating.
They send bills saying you owe more even after you pay in full and confirm it with them. They've done it both times I've gone. Use them at your own risk. Worst business experience of my life.

Medical exam
Went to City MD because I had symptoms of bronchitis and am 32 weeks pregnant. They refused to prescribe antibiotics and told me to 'wait and see' i was charged 400 dollars for this visit which included a 4 in 1 test for Flu, Covid, (225$ which wasn't even disclosed to me) and told me to take over the counter and prescribe an inhaler. 7 days later no improvement its clear I need antibiotics so I call the aftercare line, only to be told I would need to come in again. Charged another $225 dollars to be prescribed antibiotics. That would be $625 to get medical treatment for bronchitis. Its not worth it. I just need to get myself a PCP and never go back to places like this. If you have insurance just go to see a real doctor! Lesson learned
They have very shady billing practices. They'll quote you one price for a service then mail you an extra bill a week later.
They're also milking the pandemic situation to scare people into unnecessary tests when they're healthy. They sometimes have hours long lines and bunch people together to get tested, and mingle sick and healthy people close together for long periods. Nothing about this makes sense.
To be fair there's one good thing about them and I'll give them a point for that. They do provide a convenient option for medically underserved communities as a cheap healthcare option. Have a cut and need some quick stitches and tetanus shot? They're a good quick option in many cases. But please remember what utter scumbags they are about the billing.
They sent me another Bill for additional service even though I already paid in full. A friend warned me about them so I asked to pay in full at the appointment and clarified that the bill was fully paid. They were flat out lying to me. Total scumbags.
Tip for consumers:
Watch out for their unethical billing

Incompetent physicians; it's a franchise backed by wall street. Standard of care very subpar. More like a factory
DON'T RECOMMEND! Choose anywhere but CityMD! Based on my experience, company is Misleading if not Deceitful and "Cold."
What happened? Visited CityMD for a simple blood draw and it's been awful dealing with them ever since.
As a healthcare professional, I struggled on whether or not I should write this review. Part of me wanted to protect CityMD, thinking this is just a misunderstanding and I should give them more time to fix, but they've simply given me the shoulder and ignored the situation.
1st visit as a new customer
Bad blood draw. Technician pricked my arm several times because they could not set the needle properly. First attempt, they re-adjusted the needle while it was still in my arm, tried yanking the pump several times to draw blood but could not. Next, reinserted needle in a different area of same arm but could not get blood - needle was inserted so poorly it fell/tipped out of my arm. Tried the other arm which worked... eventually left the clinic and my band aid was soaked with blood by the time I got home. Arms developed bruising all over.
Gave private survey feedback, site manager was nice enough to contact me a few days later and welcome me back for a complimentary free care visit that would be on them, at no charge to me. I went in giving them the benefit as I was worried about my injury. Greeted by site manage who seemed nice, but later in the room, doctor brushed off arm bruising as fine, don't worry, vein ruptures are normal...
Went home, got a bill the next month via email, text, and mail... harassment?
Called CityMD site > transferred to their billing department to whom I explained the visit was complimentary/no charge but their response was this is what we received - case closed, nothing we can do, go back and talk to the site. Called practice office and assistant said they would help fix issue with billing department from their side.
Nothing has been fixed so far. As the patient, I am being given the run around, calling two different departments from the same company to relay he said/she said, meanwhile they won't get on the phone and just talk directly with each other.
It's been a nightmare. Will post an update if this ever gets fixed. If you don't hear back, you know what happened….
Called billing 10 times and waited maybe 30 min. Each time. Nobady answered it. Sent two emails and no respond.
Respect other people City MD and do good business.
I Coverd by state and give me bill they force me to pay because not answer me by phone to know whey those bill
I'm a City and State worker and was refused the opportunity to receive covid testing at 10:30AM on 12/31/2021at CityMD located at 2902 3rd Ave. Because they were "Not taking any more people" surprisingly there was a line with only 3-4 people outside, and it was not crowded inside. As an employee that serves the City as well as the State of NY. I'm appalled by their services.
