The Meadowglade

My father took advantage of the optional housing when my mother passed and he was in bad shape. Unable to fully function on his own with the mindset he was in, I'm proud he realized that and was brave enough to address it. The place is gorgeous and gave me a resort-like feel when I visited. Dad is home now and doing quite well.

There was a greater need for help than I realized in my best friend. When she finally had a break, we brought her here. She's so much better now thanks to their help.

All my needs are taken care of by the amazing counselors here at Meadowglade. Their bedside mannerisms are superb. Each time i visit, I find myself so very grateful to have found this facility. This place has always been clean and sanitary but now even more so with COVID-19 protocols in place. I feel safe physically and my journey to be mentally better.

The Meadowglade has the best program for mental illness disorders. Traditional therapy wasn't quite enough for me, but I didn't need a full inpatient treatment either. With their partial hospitalization program, I found the perfect balance of help and my normal life. They really do understand how to help.

The Meadowglade saved our family when my daughter became so withdrawn. We did not know what to do and my friend referred us here. She received the attention, direction, and tools to help her cope with life and all of its different situations. This facility is Great!

After extensive interviews with Shauneen and approval by the Program Director Lucy, I was accepted into this program, had filled out over 30 forms in the Kipu Healthcare app, handled credit card authorizations, signed lease to pay for the rental portion of the inpatient stay, had successfuly insurance verification, a lengthy medical intake and multiple phone interviews. We had decided on a day to arrive and they had sent a driver to take me to the local urgent care and get a covid test before proceeding to the main facility.
5 minutes before arriving to the facility I got a call from an unnamed person at Meadowglade simply stating that they didn't want me to come and had no explanation whatsoever. This was remarkable to me since I had turned over credit card information and signed a residential lease agreement in addition to them signing a form admitting me. These were literally my new primary care doctors and they abandoned me without explanation, at my own expense, in the middle of rural California with no explanation.
This was terribly jarring psychologically and I had to suddenly make last minute travel arrangements at a high price while simultaneously look for another treatment center to get into. This place cost me a lot of time and money due to their ineptitude.
I would stay away from these people, they seem to either be inept or malicious and either answer is bad. And to be honest, the location is wretched.
Go somewhere else.

My anxiety had reached a level more than I could handle and I needed more help than my therapist could provide. He recommended I contact The Meadowglade, and I am so happy that I did. Not only were they able to create a therapy plan just for me, I was able to keep working remotely while I got the help I needed. I didn't know that was possible and it had kept me from getting the help I needed for years.

After going through extreme moods, energy levels, and emotions I knew I needed to seek some help. Things were not getting better and I felt like my life was so out of control. The Meadowglade Has such a professional, knowledgeable, and kind staff. They really know what they are doing and I know without a doubt that if it was not for them I would not be where I am today.

It was really a beautiful place and just perfect for getting away and taking some time for self improvement. The staff were all so nice and really showed me how much they care about helping young people myself.

We are very happy with the treatment our daughter received here. The staffs are so nice and receptive, they treat you as a family and not just as a patient. Our daughter stayed in their facility for 30 days and she got over her depression issues. This facility has been a blessing to my family.

My sister lives by herself and it made it easy for her to hide her self-harm and hard for us to detect it. We would see the cuts but she always had excuses for them. Once we did we got her to The Meadowglade by just getting her to promise to one visit. Thankfully the understanding she gained at that visit shed some light on her problem for her and she is undergoing treatment as I write with the confidence she will conquer the evil habit.

I am a veteran that suffers from PTSD. It has been severely debilitating and I was not happy with the care provided by the VA. My wife found The Meadowglade and I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate this program. If you need help and don't know where to turn you'll be in good hands here. Just trust the process and you will come out with hope.

The Meadowglade is a beautiful place to go and take some time for yourself. The workers there were really nice and seemed passionate about helping out people like me. The programs that we did were fun, and special. Spending time in a place like this is really an experience that will stay with me for a long time and I'm thankful for it.

The Meadowglade really gave me strength to push through my problems and face them head on. I met many people who had been through harder times than myself and had excellent advice. I'm thankful for my time there.

Admitting I needed help was not easy for me. It made me feel weak. I was not very open to the process at the beginning and began only to silence some family members who I felt were riding me. As I began to relax and give myself over to my therapist, I realized what I saw as riding me was authentic love and concern. Once I stopped resisting, things really fell into place quickly for me.

It's great to see that during the pandemic that the Meadowglade is still operating and working hard to help others. Their facility is gorgeous and they are doing a great job to keep it clean and patient friendly. My nephew is enjoying his time there and I can't wait to see where he will be in a few weeks.

It was a really beautiful place to spend time at. I enjoyed the activities and it felt good opening up to people and getting to know peers. Something I really wasn't expecting. I think I brought a lot home with me, things to think about and work on, along with a positive perspective on what is to come.

Working as a therapist at The Meadowglade was as rewarding to me as it was beneficial to those I provided therapy to. Being able to practice my skill in such a kind and warm environment was wonderful. Had it none been for unavoidable physical relocation, I would still be there today.

I went because my family thought the place would be great for me to go. After a couple of days I did settle in a bit and really enjoyed the counselors and all of the visits I had with them. I had some really good talks and got to know some very interesting people.

My experience at Meadowglade has been a positive one. I found my counselor to be very kind, extremely compassionate and a great listener. She is also highly educated and very knowledgeable. She also has a wonderful sense of humor. She makes me laugh and since I come for depression issues, that is saying a lot.

They treated me as a family from the first day I got here. It's been a long journey and I refused to give up. After spending 45 days at this facility I feel better. No longer suffering alone, in fact no longer suffering at all, I have two words for The Meadowglade; thank you.

Ever since my stay at The Meadowglade I have felt revamped. I am inspired by the people I met and how they have approached their battle with their own problems in life. I am looking forward to visiting again but next time with stories of success and strength.

I interned at the Meadowglade and was very impressed with the Doctors and the staff. The patients received top notch treatment and were able to get their lives back on track. It's a great place.
