All is good. No complaints. Very nice selection / prices.
Last Tuesday I contacted the seller for the following reasons:
1) Although the photos of the watch on the website were correct, the description was incorrect in a number of ways:
A. The dial is white instead of black;
B. The hour markers are Roman instead of Arabic;
C. The watch strap is made of lizard leather instead of crocodile leather;
D. The watch has a large instead of a small seconds hand; and
E. The bottom of the watch is made of steel instead of glass.
2) Partly as a result of the above, I had my doubts whether the watch I had bought was an IWC Portuguese Automatic. It seemed more like an IWC Portofino Automatic. This was indeed established during my telephone conversation with the seller.
All this has resulted in a refund of € 300 which I received from the seller immediately after our telephone conversation. The question is whether I still haven't paid too much for this watch thinking it was a Portuguese. By the way, the seller was very annoyed that apparently a mistake had been made, both with regard to the type of watch and with regard to quite a number of its features.
The unpleasant question creeps up on me as to whether Chrono24 has failed to fulfill its duty of care. After all, Chrono24 could and should have seen that this was not a Portuguese but a Portofino and that the description of a fairly large number of characteristics was incorrect. In fact, I believe that Chrono24 also owes me an amount of € 300 due to the fact that I have been misled. I look forward to your response.

PS: I don't understand the purchase date of December 31,1969 as stated at the top of this page (in reference to the Order ID). Clearly I purchased this watch on September 14,2020.
