Bought my wife an expensive watch as an anniversary gift from a brick-and-mortar manufacturer boutique. Negotiated a so-so discount off list price. Looking for her watch got me thinking about a new one for my wrist. Found one I liked and then used Chrono24 to source it with a much better discount than I could get from a traditional store. Given big ticket items, highly careful about using a new site but I had 2 great experiences with Chrono24 in a short amount of time. Would recommend sticking to professional dealers as opposed to private sellers but otherwise just a great experience.
There are so many watches. I especially enjoy the ability to paste the reference number and compare the pricing for both new and used timepieces. I don't particularly understand the watches for sale with the 'need to procure' tag. That makes think it's a bit sketchy on the price/money exchange. Can you explain this mechanism and its risks or benefits?
I was very hesitant to make an expensive purchase on here, considering the shady reputation of the watch dealer industry. I can now say after 5 purchases, I was now comfortable enough to purchase my grail watch through Chrono24 this week. I make sure the dealer has a return policy, guarantees authenticity, participates in the escrow service, has a public presence with above a 4 star rating & at least 100 reviews, before ordering. This has kept me out of trouble.
It's great that buyer payments are held in an escrow account and only released to the seller when the buyer receives their purchase and confirms their satisfaction. I've bought more than one item on Chrono24 and found most sellers to be responsible. I will use Chrono24 again, without hesitation.
Great to find a trader who has high standards with fine communication skills. My initial request was for a price for postage and speed of delivery, this was handled well and my parcel was sent with the courier who arrived in good time in these difficult circumstances. I am very happy with the watch it has been given a super high quality case polish and the dial and hands were kept original. The first seller stated the item was out of stock. At least they responded quickly. The listing stayed up, though. How to fix that?
Second seller had the item. Things got rocky when I tried to use my credit card to finalize the purchase. The error message was a little vague. A call to my bank revealed that I was not signed up for the Visa verification system. Got that straightened out and the payment went through fine. (Always frustrating when I can't give my money away!)

It's nearly impossible to find deals as good as Chrono24 has for watches. This was my first 4 digit watch purchase, and I'll admit I would have preferred to do it In person. But the deals on Chrono24 are to good. Once I decided to purchase through Chrono24, I felt confidence in the process and how everything was handled. I felt that my investment was secure and that if there was something wrong with the product i was protected. Everything was quick and efficient and I wouldn't hesitate to make my next watch purchase through them.

While german-based, i had no trouble with communication in american when they didn't accept my american bank card. They immediately fixed the situation and i was able to make my purchase after only one email and one incredibly speedy and succinct reply.

Chronos24.com is an excellent way of shopping for wrist watches that cannot be obtained locally, or at least without an uplift in prices at a watch boutique. This way, Chronos24.com offers the buyer myriad of choices and prices, so that one can compare pricing for the same wrist watch, etc. The buying on-line experience is completely secure from lifting personal information or intercepting the product - very secure way of seeking the watch of choice. This is the first time buy for me, but I'm sure I will be a return customer on Chronos24.com. Happy.
I have a package that has been in transit for 3 months now and it has yet to leave China. I understand that packages are delayed due to the pandemic, but that is just ridiculous. I also understand that they have no control over the shipping, but when I emailed them, they were so dismissive. When I asked them about the delay, they simply replied with the tracking information. Gee, thanks.
This company as just the worst customer service imaginable, won't answer emails, I'm waiting on a payout for a watch I sold for three weeks ago now, and absolutely no reason for this level of service.

I would not recommend this site for the luxury watch purchase.
Red flags: if you are the buyer then you can not cancel your purchase or get your money back if seller for example said that he shipped the watch but you never received it or it got stuck on custom in case of international shipment. Chrono24 says they dont provide any assistance between buyer and seller or any control. Seller can put any bogus fedex tracking number and ship watch to himself and sign for it and your money will be gone. And Chrono24 has no control over that. One more red flag - they dont comply with any customs regulations - for example CITES - which means if for example a leather strap is made of some endangered animal then it could be confiscated by customs but Chrono24 will not take any responsibility there. Avoid or you are risking to lose your money or watch!

Shipping with customs was only 7 days total. I've had domestic Amazon transactions take longer. I could not be happier with the transaction.
