Order was placed on 8/17/2019. Order is still processing! I have called them twice. Each call was over an hour on hold to talk to someone. Each time they said we are just very busy and your order will probably ship tm. They also said it has only been 6 days since I placed order and to be patient. My patience jas 100 percent ran out!
I know have to go school shopping AGAIN! I will never order from them again. Worst service ever.
If you are having trouble getting your order shipped with Childrens Place, just contact the Better Business Bureau in New Jersey - file a complaint with them and you will get results.
Otherwise, your order will never be shipped. Also - there is no customer service with Childrens Place - no one ever answers the phone - no one ever helps.
This is terrible! Been waiting 2 weeks to receive my order! You can't even cancel orders! Worst place to ever do business. Worst customer service, they don't even answer just hang up after 1 minute.
Long wait time on phone so far 1hour 8min and still waiting. When it said a wait time of 20 min. My order has not shipped 10 days after ordering may be the last time I use them very disappointed.
Yup your not the only one having online issues! This is ridiculous I wish Carter's sold school uniforms not impressed to say the least! Money taken out then put back in. Waited 30 min for someone to answer customer service and then she said it takes 10 days to process the order!
Wow I was livid until I read the other reviews. Children's place ordering online is a complete scam! I placed 3 orders on 8/11/2019 my card was charged and my order was "processing" my money was reversed back on my card 08/16/2019 so I went out and spent that money on school clothes. Then yesterday Children's place charged my card for the money they just refunded me (minus the items they no longer had). Like wtf that money was spent! Wtf would you refund the money then charge me again for it?!? It's all a big scam. You can't reach anyone at anytime in the customer service department, Phone or email. I feel cheated and defeated. They just took from my future check when I was already penny pinching and there's no way to get it back. :(
I placed an order 11 days ago and still no notification of shipping. I am waiting on things for my children to go back to school. I tried calling customer service and every time you select online ordering it says they are experiencing a high call volume and ends the call. Looks like I'm not the only one having this issue!

Like everyone else, I purchased my child's school clothes on 8/6/19, items still in process, been on hold over an hour and still no answer from customer service. Funds being held on my card. Also right after I placed the order my credit card had several fraudulent online orders and my card was shutdown, and now I am waiting on a new one from the bank. It appears maybe their online website was hacked?
I've shopped for the past few years on Children's Place. I buy all of my grandsons jeans there. They fit perfectly and amazingly low prices. I'm super satisfied with the Children's Place!
I will not be doing business with The Children's Place ever again. I am usually a patient person, but it's been 7 days after my order and I've still not received notification that my items have shipped. And like so many other customers, I cannot reach anyone over the phone and emails are not returned either. Very disappointing when you're counting on a company to get your child's back to school clothes to you on time. Just move on a spend a few bucks more, the savings was not worth it.
I placed two orders recently. I received the order confirmations by email, and the money held on my credit card for both orders. After a week with no shipping confirmation, I decided to call. But, every time I call customer service, the line is busy. I tried emailing customer service, but only received a generic email response saying that there is a high volume of emails so their response may be delayed.
Now, both of my orders appear to have been cancelled. There is no order history when I log into my Children's Place account, all of my rewards points that I've accrued are gone, and the money is no longer being held from my account. I think it's horrible that they can cancel orders without letting customers know why, or without offering any substitutions or discounts towards future orders, especially right before school starts when a lot of families are counting on these orders. Horrible customer service.
I ordered school uniforms, shoes, lunchbox, and a water bottle 10 days ago, and my order is still processing. My child had to start school without new items and is very disappointed. Customer service is unreachable over both the phone and email. The phone sends you to a VM that states they're experiencing high call volume, to call back later, and then disconnects. Email also sends an auto response of high email volume and they'll respond when they can. They never respond though! It looks like the same thing is happening to hundreds or thousands of customers all over the country!
I placed an order on 08/04/2019 but I have not even received a status update. It still has not shipped. I sent an email with no reply given to me. I have called multiple times but it gives a message saying they are experiencing high call volume. $204.00 later and school today but no uniforms! Awesome!
I placed an on-line order 11 days ago, part of it was shipped and it was missing an item and one of the other items had a store security tag on it. That's a trip to the store now to get the tag removed. The rest of the shipment was not shipped until yesterday 10 days after ordering! School is going to start and most of the order hasn't even arrived. I have called numerous times on different days and keep getting a recording stating that they are experiencing a high volume of calls and then It disconnects me, every single time! So then I sent them an email and got an email stating that they are receiving a high volume of emails and that it will be a while before I get a response, that was two days ago and I have not received my order, any emails nor any calls from them! I will NEVER order from this company again, EVER... STAY AWAY because if your order never comes or it's wrong you will not be able to get it sorted out!
My order was canceled because I accidentally wrote the wrong ZIP Code and instead of getting a refund on the gift cards that I used for that order they told me there is nothing they can do. I will never buy or be associated with this disgusting franchise.
Like many of the previous reviews, shipping can be a little slow so if you need something for a party or event make sure you leave yourself 2 weeks. Other than that, they have an excellent selection of clothes and you really can't beat the prices during their sales & back to school events.
The customer service in the Milford Milford Milford Connecticut mall location is horrible. The customer service representative proceeded to tell me and my mother how there was and bug/insect problem and that they could not throw away one item I asked them to throw away for me while they had candy and drinks on the countertop. At one point while shopping for my son I had a question about some sizes I needed in a certain outfit that I wanted to buy my son and the two customer service representative were not able to assist me because they were too busy speaking to two of their friends that had come to visit them the only acknowledgment I got was from one of the friends that was there who was not even a worker. It was just over all of very bad experience and it's a shame because I would have liked to continue to shop there because it seemed like they had some great clothes with some great prices.
Horrible experience. This company basically stole $600 from me. I ordered my kiss school clothes and the company decided to cancel the day before they were supposed to arrive. They have yet to return my money and they say the people who can release the money and who can tell me why my order was canceled dont have access to email or phones, I can only hop througj the customer service agents that keep assuring me the next step will be made im 48 hours... but this has been 7 days. Straight robbery!
