End of November ordered cute top for my mother for Xmas. Told it would arrive by December 10. It didn't. Contacted them today to find out what was going on since I had NO communication from them about the order once placed. Told it was now on back order for 30 days. Since that's AFTER Christmas, told them to cancel order and that I wouldn't shop there again. No offer to stay as customer, just some flowery line about wishing me all the warmth and joy of the season. Yeah, there's a pandemic going on so that fits. Eye roll, Worst customer service! Will not order from again.
Over the past 6 months I have purchased several items at full price and have found that within days Chicos online has them on sale. This has happened on 3 separate occasions. When I've gone back to the store for an adjustment, I am denied with the explanation " Chicos online has different sales". Really? For the same merchandise? At that point I've returned the merchandise and ordered it online. Why would the stores not do a price adjustment rather than accept the return of all the merchandise? The online business will put the stores out of business. Terrible policy. Would hesitate to shop there again, as I have no confidence in their prices. Very disappointing.
I was unable to make an exchange because it was past the 60 days window. I wasn't trying to get money back, simply make an even exchange for the same pants in a different size and my pants still had the tags attached. I emailed customer support and their response had inaccurate information for the original purchase date. I'm not sure where they were getting their information. Now my emails are bouncing back. Some of the people who work in the stores are friendly and helpful, but what if you need to make an exchange at a later date? Not worth the risk with Chico's.
My local Chico's, now gone, was a good place to shop. Chico's online is a disaster: no one answers the phone; no one answers emails; no live person on chat. They will cheat you every time and take a month to refund your payment. I should have read the other reviews first. I have shopped at Chico's online for the final time. Believe me.
I saw an add on facebook for a specific item at Chicos. I followed the link to purchase the item. Then, I was asked to give my email for a 20 percent discount. When I clicked on the item, a message said, "like this item? So did everybody else, it's sold out, let's help you find something else." Now they're going to use my email to try to sell me things I WAS'NT looking for. No thanks. Hard pass on Chicos. Not interested in supplying you with my info only for your needs. You're dishonest. I don't work with businesses like yours, and I will share that with friends and social media. Way overpriced for poor materials as well.
The photos on the site seem to be overly-enhanced since I tend to get products with colour differing prominently from that in the photos. The quality of products seems varied too, although they seem to be quite good on the whole.
Shipping is REALLY slow! And their product specifications are scanty.
Maybe I'll still visit Chico's since I quite like their products. Prices also seem to fluctuate based on reviews given...
Initially found products on a great sale with no mention of when the sale would end (usually sales are made clear through banner ads and such). When I returned hours later the next morning the sale prices were nowhere to be found. I also signed up for the first time customer 20% + an additional 20% discount (that never showed up in my email but other marketing emails definitely did!). I reached out to customer service and they offered to give me a call to help with my purchase (not needed, it's the pricing that was the issue). When I said I wasn't available for a call now the rep ghosted me and the function to email the transcript to my email didn't work, so I have no record of the conversation.
Just an extremely frustrating online experience. I'll be taking my dollars elsewhere.
I worked for Chico's for a few years. First of all if you are going to work for Chico's don't work at Redmond Town Center. The manager (Susan) has been there for 5 years and I've never experienced such an unprofessional manager. She's verbally abusive. She won't train you but expect you to know everything. In the years I worked there 28 asms and sales associates left because of her. The company doesn't do an exit interview so I am sure they don't see the high turnover. The culture of the company is alarming
I ordered 4 items and paid an additional $7 per item to have them boxed. The items arrived unboxed and I am out $28 they kept. I waited 35 minutes on hold to speak to someone and hung up. That cost me time and phone minutes. Called back several hours later and still on hold. Can't deal with an online service that messes up then makes it impossible to reach them and get a refund for their mistake.
I have been a loyal customer for many years. The past couple of years I have seen the quality decline drastically. Materials are not good quality and the the tailoring is not good. Crooked seams uneven hems. What's happened to a once top of the line retailer?
Great sales and nice clothes... most of the time. My goal is to never pay more than $35 for their items. Today, I found a nice jacket and had it in my cart... it was $45. But the only way I could get it was to go to the store, Dah... I'm done!
I used to shop in Chicos all the time, still do stop in, but now don't often purchase.
Reason why is quality and style. I still own many wonderful older items from chicos, such as my long suede shirts and wide fashion leather belts.
Chicos is now making too many print designs, which I deplore, and I am not loving the material they are using.
I love the clothes at Chico's. A little pricey, that is why I like the outlet. When you find a brand that fits and you are 68 yrs old you stick with it. Love the outlet store in Clinton CT. They ordered me something and said it would be 10days. Got it in 3. No shipping costs. I find the staff around my age so we can relate. I probably stop in there twice a month.
Just received my order from Chico's quick service. Love the vest and size fit perfect.my top also fit true to size and superior quality. Little price but so worth it. Classic pieces will stay in style. I ordered size 3 and it fit tru to size.
Have been waiting forever for a dress I ordered and paid for shipping on. Their customer service has assured me it's been packed and ready to ship twice. They refuse to cancel order, but keep saying it is ready to ship. Still waiting.
Poor quality for price. Website very hard to see actual product. Overall this company has lost me as a consumer due to decrease quality and also website steadily decreasing in quality... I can't even see product in full body anymore..
I love Chico's because I always know my size, the clothes fit perfectly, they are beautiful and comfortable. People always ask where I buy my outfits and I always say "Chico's" I know when I go out of the house that I look up to date and fashionable. Never will the outfits be outlandish or something that will only be in style for a month. I am one of their top shoppers and there are perks for that which I appreciate. They take care of their customers, have a private shoppers for you, and can coordinate your outfits if you ask. I can't say enough good things about this company.
Brittany in store 0329 12 oaks mall is a horrible boss. She talks tobu like ur four. Snapping her fingers at you, calling me girl. Horrible. I erked one day with her and quit. I'd been there almost 3 yrs
I've been a very satisfied Chico customer for decades! Clothes are quality snd fit well and ideal for "older" women: stylish, classy not too "young" or "old" looking. I love the Traveler line as itvis absolutely perfect for travel!
Midtown Village no assistance in my purchase my blouse was though in the bag not folder in tissue No mentioned of additional sales off very cold I have never been treated like this before oper Chinonye store 0706 don't judge me by look I am a member
Answer: I'm not sure what Chico items you are talking about, but the majority are made with a material that easily washes and doesn't need ironing. In fact, you can pack a lot of their clothes and take them right out of the suitcase and wear. Maybe you are not buying the correct tops that go with your body. I would suggest when you go in the store is ask for assistance. They have shoppers for their customers that coordinate outfits and can pick out clothes that will look amazing on your body. Try that and then see how you feel about their clothes. I know I sound like I work for them, but I don't. I'm just a frequent customer that loves their clothes and sales and what their clothes do to my body.
Answer: Its pretty easy. Just call. But sometimes you will be on hold for awhile.
Answer: The fit seemed good until I wore them once. They stretched out so much and so fast that I was pulling them up all day. It was so uncomfortable and I contacted them to see if I could exchange or get a credit and they would not do it.
