It's not cheap if they keep you on the phone over 45 min. And still bring no resolve. I haven't traveled yet... but it should be interesting. These agents gave me a flight with a 30 min. Layover when the minimum is suppose to be at least 40 min. They claimed they called the airline and it's a valid schedule. (The first Rep. Said otherwise before passing me off to the night supervisor.) Save yourself the headache and go through somebody reputable.
This company is a bunch of thieves! Bought tickets to the Yankees game for my brothers birthday and when the value of the tickets all of a sudden went up they told me my tickets were cancelled and they don't have them anymore. A crooked company, do not buy anything from them. Customer service is awful. They offered me nothing in return just said that's the way is goes. Just because you buy them its not guaranteed.
I've used this site for 3 trips to Australia now and have had very good results. They have fairly good rates and everything has always ran very smoothly with my etickets and their customer service was good when I had to make changes to my flight except for one little snag.
Here's a little tip for you. If you have to change your flight, try going through your actual airline to make the changes because you'll find it's a bit cheaper than if you change it through cheaptickets. You'll likely still be hit with some financial punishment but cheaptickets was more expensive to make the necessary adjustments. Usually it'll cost around $250 plus any increase in airfare if there is any. But CT wanted to charge me $450 so I took a chance and called the airline and they took care of it all for me. Just make sure you have your booking number on hand.
Other than that, I've been very happy with this site and their service and I'm going to be booking with them again soon for Australia.
STAY AWAY! Cheaptickets is definitely a scam! If you just book with them and take your intended flight you might be ok. But good luck trying to change or cancel a booking, they charge horrendous "service fees" and don't refund you a penny. Not even if you bought the insurance from them at the time of booking. I mean how bad is that, they offer you a worry-free insurance and you would expect that thanks to having it you can cancel and get a quick and uncomplicated refund. But no they say if you have the insurance then you need to take it up with the insurance company itself and find out if your cancellation is eligible according to the terms and conditions of the insurance company which you didn't read because they were not presented to you at any time during the process of the booking. This is as bad as it gets because now you can waste a lot of time fighting with the insurance company and most likely end up with nothing more than more grey hair. BEWARE!
I reserved a car at Priceless in Orlando Florida for a 3 day rental. My pickup time was 11:15p. We arrived around 10:45 at the pick up point only to find the one shuttle they had running was full. We were told to wait for the driver to return in about 15-20 minutes. No driver returned. After several calls, 1 1/2 hours later on our final call, Priceless told us there were no more cars. Mind you, I arrived at the pick up point on time and called in as instructed. They simply did not hold my car. They later told me they only had one driver that night. But we were from California, and expected to have a car when we arrived. Think twice before reserving at this company.
I encountered significant issues with this travel agency, which sold me a Geneva to London (round trip) ticket. I called to cancel the reservation (for the outbound flight only), and they informed me of exorbitant fees, equivalent to three times the price of the ticket. For this reason, I decided to keep the round-trip ticket. However, I didn't show up for the outbound flight. I then purchased another flight with British Airways. Without notifying me, the agency canceled my entire reservation. Consequently, I found myself at the airport with my best friend, two hours before the flight, trying to check-in. They couldn't find my reservation and stated that it had been canceled, instructing me to contact the airline. I tried to call multiple times, but it was impossible to reach them; supposedly, their customer service line was no longer operational. Therefore, I had to spend a night in London, find a hotel, and buy a new plane ticket. I received no financial compensation or voucher, absolutely nothing. It was a shameful and disappointing experience. Fortunately, being bilingual, I was able to manage the situation, but I believe another person, stranded in a foreign country, would have really struggled.
Cheap Tickets customer service is terrible. They advertise prices that turn out to false. When you try to call them - which you have to make certain changes - you are easily on hold for 50 minutes. I have used Cheap Tickets for years, but their service has become truly terrible and they don't offer anything that other companies don't have. I would advise to stay away from them.
I booked a ticket with Cheapticket and requested a flight change. The customer service was extremely aggressive and arrogant. They said it was not possible. I called again, another operator proposed me a very expensive new flight and recommended me to purchase a new one. 1) the the first operator lied and 2) they do not care about their customers.
Horrible customer service and highly recommend not to buy from them.
Giving me the runaround. Wouldn't issue me a refund even I spoke to the airline and was told I am eligible for a refund but it would have to be paid by Cheaptickets. If at all possible don't purchase tickets from Cheaptickets.
Cheap Tickets website sends you to several "cheap" sites after you enter your trip plan. They (Cheap Tickets AND the other company - flights24.com) conveyed themselves as "cheap" BUT when all was said and invoiced my ticket cost me 560.00 when the same flights (I found out afterwards) on one of the more established websites would have cost me only 478.00. Same flights, same dates, same everything. I will never use the Cheap Tickets site again.
We ordered round trip airline tickets from Cleveland to Las Vegas. Confirmation number and 3 phone calls to assure we were good to go. Got to Las Vegas fine but no return flight and now stuck in Vegas! No way home! Cheap tickets blames airline after 3 hours on the phone! Such a disaster and ruined our trip and costing us over $1000 to try and get home.
They sold me a ticket to a flight, which does not exists with the airline booking code, which is not recognized by airline. When I asked for refund, they simply answered "please, contact airline for refund", which is impossible, because the airline booking code is not valid.
You will regret it. I purchased a ticket in September for October 10th and I had to cancel the flight. I also purchased cancelation insurance. They charged me $100 cancelation PLUS only would give me credit towards future flight and no money back at all. This place is a nightmare and AVOID AT ALL COST.
I bought refundable tickets with insurance. First, the email said it will take 7 to 10 business days to get the refund, then I called in 8-5-2022 and I was told 3 to 5 business days to get my refund. Today 8-12-2022 they are telling me 4 weeks.
They never informed me of the flight changes. When I called they claimed 2 e-mails that had the exact information for the updated flight and the original. They did nothing about it they even refuse to change flights the cheap deal of $600 a ticket turned up to be $1,500 a ticket since I had to buy new tickets for my way back. The planes were delayed up to 18 hrs in the airports and made me loose 2 days of my vacation. I traveled with 2 children and it was just the worst. Please don't let them keep scamming people don't buy from them.
I book a flight to my brother, GRU - MIA - GRU and also paid the insurance since he need to went through medical clearance. The doctor recommend him not to travel and I communicate to cheaptickets that told me that I need to contact a third party, insurance company. After 60 days I did the call, no refund was paid, and the insurance company informed that they only paid if the person is hospitalized? I have the doctor recommendation in writing and was sent to AON, another catch. The insurance need to have some dead bodies to pay the claim... what a lack of ethic. Claim reference number *******, itinerary number **************... need to change the name to Cheat tickets
I booked a car through cheaptickets paid $178.47, rental company never accepted that booking. Cheaptickets customer service is absolutely useless, communicating with them is a clear disaster, they're basically are just bunch of unprofessional people barely speak English. I ended up paying twice for car rental, to cheaptickets and full price to Easirent to get a car, and so far cheaptickets doesn't want to return my money. Keep away from this cheaptickets fraudulent site. I do have receipts from Easirent and from cheaptickets, and I can prove I paid twice for the same car rent.
Cheap Tickets are Re Sellers. This original ticket was bought from Ticketmaster by Cleon Jones ($36.) & re sold to me at $72. & service charges $100.82! THEN after you give your credit card info... you find out it's partial view, has somebody elses' name (who paid the original lesser price) & when you attempt to cancel you're quoted final sale!
All you can do is warn others!

1. The flight was cancelled.
2. We were not notified in any way and found out about the cancellation on the airport.
3. We did not get a refund so far.
4. We had to buy new tickets (for 11 June 2020) in order to get to Paphos.
Please dear costumer avoid this compagny until they improve.

Answer: In this situation. I probably would. Just keep in mind that the sale is final and where you may be placed might not be a prime location despite what you pay. Unfortunately last minute purchasing can put you in a vulnerable situation.
