I will never recommend this kind of travel of agency! TERRIBLE SERVICES! It's been 3 hours talking to customers service and to supervisor to fixed my problem, but they couldn't fixed my problem! Tired of them! Just simple thing to add my baby into my mom's ticket. CheapOair customer service is not helpful at all and very irresponsible in terms of returning customer phone calls and solving problems. I will never recommend anyone to book through them. Every representative has different info to give. Very inaccurate and I am highly dissatisfied.

The Cheapoair is one of biggest scam that i have ever seen in my life. They deliberately make you pay more for the flight. This online ticketing agency is fraud. All the customer representative deliberately make mistake and then make you pay more. In my case I was booking flight from cheapoir.ca in canadian funds. The flight was 2500 Cad and i entered the credit card information to book the flight then all sudden my flight price shooted 5500 Cad. So they charged 5500 CAD to my credit card. I called the billing dept. They refused to refund. I will request all you guys to never buy ticket from cheapoair because all they do is fraud in various ways either by messing up your ticket or charging in USD even if you are booking at cheapoair.ca or sometimes they will charge undisclosed fee's about 500 USD. So i would recommend all to " Not to buy ticket from Cheapoair" otherwise you will be victim of fraud like myself
This company took my booking over the phone. Charged me for an adult flight for my child and told me I wasnt being charged a booking fee or any extra fees. Low and behold my invoice comes and I find all these extra charges I never authorized. I have been on and off the phone with them for several days. The first phone call was made within 24 hours of booking and I told them theyre scamming me and I want to cancel because they are not working with me to get my money back that I never authorized. The gentlemen was extremely rude and was down talking me. Then I was told I would get a call back from a supervisor in several hours and never heard back from anyone. When i called again yesterday (48 hours later) they tried telling me no changes because I was outside of the 24 hour window! I told them to check the notes on my account and they will see that I called well before the 24 hours. I screen recorded my online chat with them where they told me my daughter is considered a child and yet i was being charged an adult. I have documentation of EVERYTHING and will be using all the information I have against them. I even called again last night after 2 days of on and off calls. The gentlemen I got was very nice and told me that I would be refunded for everything, my extra charges and get everything canceled. He told me he was transfering me to someone in the refund dept. I waited on hold over 2 hours and then the phone disconnected on their part. I have already started a dispute with my credit card and will not being paying these crooks for services I never authorized. BBB will hopefully be shutting these crooks down soon. I dont know how they live with themselves scamming people left and right. What a way to live.

Funny thing about this is bf got NO "special" seat, he got a free coke which is free anyway on any flight yet they added not only the seat but $100 in "taxes and fees" and then on top $25 more as "agency fee" even though we did all the work finding the flights and entering all the information. When I called to ask about the fake fees they were very rude and would not speak to me since it was with his credit card. Please stay away! The "cheap" part of their name is nothing but a HUGE scam! Had I known would of just booked directly through the airline! I know, woulda, coulda, shoulda but this is also their "bereavement" prices so imagine what it's like regularly... my bf was very distracted and upset when we booked and just had to get him out to Louisiana asap for wake and funeral... KARMA... Wish I had read reviews before I booked!
I tried to reschedule my return flight home. Other agencies have a fee for rescheduling and the difference in price is either credited or charged. CheapOair not only charged the fee of $100.00 (which is usual) for rescheduling; but also charged twice the going rate for the flight. Much cheaper for me to just rebook a flight on line. No funds are refunded. I could not afford the change. They are crooks.
I booked a flight to Thailand for my sisters 30 birthday in JANUARY. My trip is not until April 14th, 2019. Since booking this flight I had 4 emails starting "Major Changed To Your Flight." I would then have to call and wait on hold for 30 minutes minimum each time just to speak with a representative. I was called today to be told I would have to stay over night in China (which cut an entire day and a half out of my trip) because flights were not compatible. Not only that, I purchased flight insurance and did not receive my full refund. The representatives were not helpful and did not even care I wanted to cancel my flight. Complete waste. I would HIGHLY recommend you take your business somewhere else. The customer service representative I spoke with was "Alannah" and this so called "Flight Insurance" they but through is "Primate" (Dont buy it). I have yet to speak with a truly helpful representative with this company. I am scheduled to get a call back because out of the $1200 I paid for my flight they are only refunding $805 as of now (thats with flight insurance). We will see what happens and I will keep you updated.
Oh I just got scammed. I booked a flight with a good deal, but when I got my confirmation, the dates totally changed. I tried calling them but was on hold for over 30 min. I finally found a chat option, and waited 30 min. Finally someone helped me, but said to change the dates would cost me $250. This is double what I paid. Since I paid $50 for protection, they let me cancel but only could get back $200 of the $250. Plus they said it will take 14 days to get my money returned. SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!

I booked an international ticket through them. At that time I also bought the insurance. A month later the airline cancelled the flight and my purchase for the ticket was refunded. However cheap o air at first did not to refund 150 dollars of my insurance payment saying it is non refundable. Of course if I changed my itinerary or cancelled my trip I would agree. However they cancelled my flight and still wanted to keep my insurance. At this time now, they have agreed to refund my insurance. I give them credit for trying to fix the problem.
I paid 614.00 for a one way. Made the cancellation right after. They were sure to charge 70.00 for the cancellation. On the 14th business Day, my bank statement hasn't shown Any refund from cheap o air at all. I'm glad I work for myself and make hundreds of dollars a day. But to get that 614.00 back, would've been for the hotel on my trip which is less than 5 days away.
Customer service was so slow and they could only find me a ticket that was $200 dollars more than my original ticket. I would rather go somewhere else and pay the $50 fee than pay 200 for a one way ticket

Called to complain and switch the day... additional fee of 145.00 with ticket bought 139.99. I would like to cancel the stupid ticket but cancel fee is 70 cad and "their customer service" 200.00 cad! I just finished booking my flights to Phoenix. Pushed the confirm button and was shocked to see they moved both of my flight times to entirely different days. Went to cancellation policy to find out there was none. Phoned immediately to get the filghts changed, and even though I contacted them within minutes there was no offer to help me other than the offer to change the flights and charge me an additional $747.00. My CheapoAir tickets went from the cheapest to the most expensive tickets I could have purchased. Review your tickets before you proceed because they alter the dates on you at some time during the process and it is not obvious that they have done so until you have already paid for the ticket. SCAMOAIR. Buyer beware. They are obviously aware of this problem and likely making extra commissions by bait switching your flights. Sometimes you get what you pay for... in this case I got hosed.
If There was negative star option I would give Cheapoair negative stars. I don't like to do business with those who are honest upfront. It's the worse travel website because I read the term and condition before booking to find 24 hours cancelation. I could not find any statement mentioning it before I booked. They only put the tiny little green line on somewhere and said price match promise and easy 24 hour cancelation. What a deceiving. Cheapoair can trick people once but not all the time. When you( cheapoair) company want people's business, you should be honest and straightforward. And please don't blame on everything has stated on the website. Excuse you, the customer service lady kept saying you should go to desktop website on your computer, nowadays people use mobile phone for convenience as their busy schedule. Your mobile format and your desktop should be matched and straightforward... not hiding the fee under different name. What a shame on the big company who owns cheapoair, also Expedia and orbitz. I am hoping you resolve this issue before you ruin someone else's vacation. I got a confirmation on a flight. I booked hotels, the time off of work, parking an extra day for my dog to stay at the kennel etc. Only to be told a week later that the flight was in fact not confirmed. I was given a link to explore my options which did not work and after spending over an hour on the phone my best option was a flight a day later that would cost me significantly more. Not to mention a missed paid day at work and trying to cancel and get payment back for baggage, hotel, parking ect. My trip that was planned and saved for based on a certain budget now is far over my budget. I'd hope you get this figured out and at the very least price match what was originally booked so you don't ruin other peoples vacations that they work very hard for. Please do yourself a favour and do not book with cheapoair and tell everyone you know not to either.
When making an airline rez you always put in the dates you want to travel. By default this little box for 'Show alternate dates' is checked. So when you pick your flight if you don't pay close attention, you get a return flight for the wrong date. Even if you call them within minutes of the mistake, they won't adjust the dates unless you want to basically buy another ticket. You can cancel the whole flight for $50 and reschedule, you just have to fly on the same day you cancel. I will NEVER use CheapOair again.

Despite my 6 different calls on 4 different days, the company doesn't provide any solution regarding the schedule change on my fly. I keep talking to differents agents and no one of them seems to have ever heard about my problem. On top of it, CheapOair has send me 3 mails asking to call them regarding this schedule change. And every time I call they were LITERALLY not a single a change on the problem. And as I'm calling from France, you can imagine the price I'm paying for.
When CheapOair saw my review, they called me numerous times to speak to me. When I finally spoke to someone (from another country), he went on to explain how their service works. He told me that they found a cheaper flight for me, even though that flight was on a totally different day than I selected for my return. I told him that I didn't select the option to fly on an alternate date. He said that, before I paid, it asked me to confirm this alternate date. Well, doggone it, I selected the flight and told it not to give me alternate dates, so why would it surreptitiously give me an alternate date? I explained that this was not good customer service and that I wanted a refund of the $345 they charged me to make the change to my ticket to get the date I originally asked for. He said he could give me a $100 refund. Oh, and by the way, would I remove the negative review? HELL NO! I told him I might consider it if he gave me the full refund. My question is this: why do I have to file a complaint in order for this company to do the right thing?

I made reservations on CheapOAir and realized as I was making the reservation for my airport shuttle that the date of the return flight was incorrect. I have no way of going back and verifying this (I checked the flight dates before I confirmed) and they charged me $345 to change the return flight.
I was fooled by flexible tickets like everyone else. I need to change my flight dates and they say I have to pay $200 for each tickets! Why would I pay for flexible tickets for only 24hrs after buying them!? Customer service or customer loyalty doesn't mean anything to them the only job they do is to confuse and milk the customer.

Flexible ticket does mean within 24 hours of making the reservation you can make the changes without airline fee or CheapOair fee, because after that if you make a change to the dates or a new city the fare is going to be different so the applicable fare does need to be paid. Flexible ticket does not give the freedom of buying a ticket to one place and time, and make changes to someplace else without paying applicable airfare, there is no such option out there.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
