We bought two tickets from Cheapoair to go from San Francisco to Turkey. Our return flight was at 6:10 am. After waking up at 3:00 am and being at the airport 2 hours before the flight we found out that the flight was cancelled. Cheapo air had failed to notify us. During that tight schedule we called Cheapoair only to get dropped off after 40 minutes of holding. Our onlt chance we were told was to buy new tickets for $1800 for my wife and I to be able to get back home. Called Cheapo air we we returned and amazingly they said there is nothing they can do and we need to call the airlines directly. We called the airline and they'd said we have to go through the agency from which we bought our tickets. We had bought insurance on our tickets fir $150. Called the Cheapo Air and inquired I about our insurance coverage to recipe our money on the cancelled flight. They gave a phone number to get in touch with insurance company directly. Are you serious, I sad? My question to this honorable travel agency is that: If they pass the buck to the airlines and the insurance company on everything we have to go through causing so much stress, what do we need a travel agency for? And more importantly what do we have to do now?
The airline says we have to contact our agent from whom we purchased our tickets ( which make sense) and Cheapo Air says we have to get in touch with the airline!
We'll neve again book with Cheapo Air. And you'll be looking for headaches if you do too.

This is the first time booking with Cheapoair. Called for questions about my flight and on hold for an hour and 2 min before automatically being disconnected. Called back and now 10 minutes in with no assistance. This will definitely be my first and ONLY time to use this service.
The purchase process was quick and simple. The prices are less expensive than others.

I had gotten tickets from this company and was suppose to travel on June 26,2021. I get to the airport to only find out they had never sent the tickets. I am still waiting to hear back and I much rather at this point get my refund! This trip was planned ahead of time and my time off work is being wasted by them!
False advertisement, will change or cancel your flight without giving you the option for a refund, so you have to live with whatever they offer you even if you buy the additional insurance to cancel your flight. My reservation was changed, however, when I looked at the booking it looked the same as the old one. I realized the change was made since my initial purchase included two checked bags, the new one allows only one checked bag. This was not written up front, but I found out about this trick from another agent.
On line it states that you can get one baggage if it is 62 linear inches for a flight with Spirit. I measured my bag and it was 60 linear inches. When I went to check in for baggage, it did not give me an option to get a baggage ticket. The lady at the counter told me that my ticket did not provide an option for a checked baggage. That is a lie. She first told me $35 each way and then said no it is $60.00 each way. She acted like she did not care.
I contacted Cheapo air and they said that I had to take it up with the airline and that they had no control over their policies. You people are the ones who booked the flight and the lady acted like she did not care one way or the other. You people are nothing more than con artist. Your cheap flight ended up costing more than a flight from a major airline. $60 each way and when it stated it should be free with a certain size.
If you have no control over the air lines then you need to get out of the business of booking flights.
Will never use CHEAP O air again. They changed my flight and no notifications till I tried to check in. No one was available to answer what should I do next. My son booked whole new flight. Now I am trying to get partial credit. I have been calling for almost month and a half but I keep getting hung up upon entering my confirmation number. I feel cheated cause CHEAP O air literally stashed my refund money. HORRIBLE.
I requested a refund a day after booking a flight, A refund was refused, but, the agent offered me credit, $60 were deducted from the original amount to receive the credit otherwise I would have lost my money, I accepted. When I was ready to use the credit, I was offer the most expensive flight. The agent, Parker, argued that because it was a change of flight I could no longer get a discounted flight. I ask to speak to a supervisor, the agent put me on hold for 30 min. He came back with a better deal, but when he emailed me the booking confirmation the amount was higher. I requested a supervisor again, after 45 min on hold, the agent claimed no supervisor was available and someone will call later. No one ever called me.
This was the worst booking experience I have ever experienced. Booked a flight to New York months ago and when we arrived at the airport they informed us that we had missed our flight because of a flight schedule change that cheapoair DID NOT notify us about. All the representatives we talked to insisted we received an email but we never received anything about a flight change from cheapoair. Before coming we checked our flight status multiple times and it showed no changes to the flight. We called cheapoair at the airport and were on hold for an average of 2 hours. Talked to four different representatives who did nothing for us and we had to buy new tickets. I would not recommend anyone to use this website.

I bought a package to Las Vegas hotel and fly. They only make the hotel reservation and they don't make The fly reservation but they charged me for both, I spent 9 horas 34 min trying to find a solution or get my money back but no one's give me the answer. They transferred me from one department to another and they always make a excuse. I called the airline they make a reservation but they never pay it and now they charge 673.44 dollar and they don't want give me my money back. I have all the records of the calls and the documents. Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
