It was very easy. I found a flight that met my needs. An alternate date saved me over $200.
Your agent booked the incorrect hotel room. I sat on the phone for over two hours waiting to talk to a customer Service person from India pretending he was in the US. Could not fix it but said give me a few days and I will call you back with a solution. That was three weeks ago... guessing he isn't going to call me back. Paid $80 in phone charges. Used to use Cheapoair a lot, then tried Expedia, who took really good care of me. Thought I would try Cheapo again, but that has turned out to be a mistake. If I hear from someone to fix this before my trip, I will continue to use Cheapo, but if not, I will just go back to Expedia.

I am constantly getting messages from CheapOAir that my flights have changed (over 10 times). Most of the time they haven't. When American Airlines does change a flight, CheapOair has the wrong information Today I received and URGENT message asking me to to call them. The message claimed they had tried to call me BUT THEY HAD NOT! When I called, the agent (in India) was rude and wouldn't let me finish a sentence. When I tried to speak, he ******* HUNG UP on me! The only way to get the correct information is to contact the airlines. Cheapo is worthless

I didn't realize there was a 50$ agency fee. I called and the representative had a heavy Indian accent. Very hard to understand.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
Answer: Security may not be an issue but they can cheat you by hiding information you should know. I would suggest to not use them and their customer service personnel are also worst I have ever seen.
