I booked my flight September 27, they got the name wrong on my ticket then told me I had to pay to get it changed. It took until November 18 (almost two months) to fix a problem that I didn't create. And I'd also like to know why I had to send my passport info when they didn't need it when I booked in the first place.

It was ok. I did not realize the seats were going to cost additional money, so when the cheapoair sales man called to ask about adding insurance, I found out I had been charged $60 or so for seats. I felt that was a bit sly. Then, also I had japanese yen in my billing info, so I assumed I could pay with yen. I live in Japan, so that was my first choice. But I realized afterwards that I had been charged in USD. That also felt like a tricky thing... I was going to ask you to deal with this as I was charged an additional ******* yen because I only had JPY in my account so I was tagged with a transaction fee. BUT that is when I read the notice on the billing page that said I would be charged in USD. So I can not complain, I just didn't realize I needed to read extra to find out that the big JPY bill was going to be charged to me in USD.
The previous seat selection is free. Why does every seat need a fee charge now?

Seats are too small and people with disabilities need to be seated near the front of the plane and next to isle seats and be the first ones off the plane just they are the first to get on board

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!

We've reviewed the reservation and you booked this online so how ever it was entered on your end is how it got in the booking. No one touches the reservation as it is all automated. You also called weeks later to correct it and the airline allowed a 1 time waiver to change the name and the fee is $75.00 which was a deal because they could have denied to change at all. They needed to see the passport to verify the change and make sure it was correct. It is important to always review confirmations immediately and report any errors.
