The site is well designed and easily acccessble. But it has two versions: the standard and the beta. It's pot luck which will load. The beta version is slow, clunky, doesn't load image files very well and the contacts list overflows such that names overlap. The standard one is fine until you click 'chat history'. Then it locks out for a minute. When you log on, you will be inundated by female profiles selling you porn sites. But the main problem is that the site will block you for for 48 hours for no apparent reason. It is probably because you have tried to contact too many profiles in too short a time. Avoid it.

The site stands as a great way to meet people with whom you would otherwise never interact. The biggest problem are the moderators. Instead of allowing a user free unimpeded access to every person on the site, if one sends out multiple messages the monitors will inform you that you are spamming the users... the implication being that if you continue you will be permanently banned from the site. Thus there is an "us vs. them" Gestapo attitude which pervades the site.

There is always men looking for "fun" no matter where you go. That doesnt mean you have to look for "fun" to chat on chatiw. I only have platonic chats, and I let the perves know, or I tell them "luck in your search".
Some like to use it as a dating site, I use it as a chat site. Yes with free sites, there is issues, you want no issue create your own free site. There are always scammers, to avoid them stay on the same site you met them, don't give out personal information. It is an anonymous chat site, and if you need to be anonymous you can find people on there who are the same, but people don't want what they fit.

Chatiw isn't a bad app my main problem with it is that it randomly ip bans me for no reason. I mainly use the site to make friends (and I've made a lot) but it always wants to ip ban me for apparently (looking at to many profiles) I think they need to just fix they're moderation system

It's run on the cheap. Its servers can't cope so it locks up every couple of minutes for several minutes. That's if the site isn't down. Also, they will ban you for no reason. You will also be inundated with fake messages from spammers promoted by the site.

Site full of fake profiles and Bots, also men pretending to be women. Men must outnumber the genuine women 30 to 1. Complete waste of time, loads of sicko names inferring pdo and rape and incest. It really is terrible. Also full of sad married men. It constantly logs you out and bombards you with scam bot messages. Avoid.

Chatiw is really a site for pedos and the police and other people who hunt them. Almost no women. I used to hunt myself, but became disillusioned at the dubious methods used to entice men into revealing an interest in children that they perhaps would not have taken had they not been tempted. On ocassions illegal material is sent to these men to prove that they had such content, or to try and find out if they would share something similar. The result: a bonus and praise, but a lot of ruined families and lives. Stay away, even if you have nothing to hide, and especially if you have nothing to hide.

If this is the case, how are they enforcing it when Wantundr4gegirl" is on the site more than 5 times looking for chatters like "4t33nCurious" and there isn't a moderator to kick him out? Bans last 48 hours max, so if this pedophile is banned, he'll be back in 2 days.
