The site is poorly run. If you can even get on without being banned, you have 15 minutes before they put you in ghost mode. Ghost mode is where you disappear from the search engine of the site and you can no longer be found by anyone. Add that to if you do get into a good chat with someone, one of you will either be banned or booted from the site therefore losing that connection. The only thing that seems to thrive on the site is scammers and bots.And if not scammers and bots, then it is pervs and pedos and under age kids or people pretending to be underage to trap you into something.The site is 18 plus and under age kids should not even be on there but it seems they have no problem. The site punishes the real people by booting and banning them and leaves the rest to do as they wish. There are far better sites. This one should be avoided.

Where to start. Both on computer and on laptop, repeatedly get a you have been banned message - after it lets me log on, listing reasons which looks standard. None of these alleged activities I have done.
The phone app now redirects you literally every 30 seconds to some obviously fake claim prize rubbish, and makes it all but impossible to chat.
Chat history does NOT work - it retains zero information about who you have spoken to while logged on making it impossible to do more than one chat at once.
Names and messages, from older men in particular, are offering clearly dubious and borderline illegal activities yet NOTHING is done to prevent these.
I suspect the site is not maintained at all by any humans, and that recently some AI has been installed and is blocking random stuff.
This site is better off closed and deleted.

Don't waste your time... terrible site, if you do happen to find someone real... they will cut you off... i'm sure the people running site are young Indian boys... most likely stroking $#*!... stay away from here...-, - one star... really bad

Without a doubt the most frustrating, aggravating and broken app on the web. How can anyone carry on a conversation with a junky app that constantly needs refreshed and ends up booting you off?

Freechatiw us and uk has 90% scammers working the same or similar scam. Many pretend to be females search for men to meet. Then when the haul u in they ask for money such as to cover gas for car journeys or steam card to keep their child happy while they entertain u. Scam is they always want these up front prior to meeting u. Basically to extort u from your hard earn cash with no real reason to meet u. Most these scammers come from Nigeria and US. Beware dont fool for anyone who's asks u for any kind of payment up front

This British women is an anti-vaxxer who promotes conspiracy theories on her cringe inducing Twitter account called Tess Summers 98. She has some kind of dubious agreement with the criminal gangs who own this chat site and she creates numerous aliases both male and female to satisfy her depraved sexual appetites and also to exchange illegal beaches of personal information about unsuspecting members of the public she has taken a dislike toward, with thuggish ex military types, drug dealers from Manchester and corrupt local landlords and lettings agencies. She is utterly corrupt yet still ironically she calls great philanthropists such as Bill Gates corrupt.

This entire site fully supports pedos, sex offenders, harassment, illegal behavior. If u report any of these things the site, its creator, and it's employees do NOTHING. But we the "grown men" get rejected they throw a tantrum and u get banned immediately. This site, it's creator, and it's employees should be shut down and charged for all the illegal things associated with this site. God forbid u try to log in for a normal conversation bc all u do is immediately have people saying the most stuff to you.

I am being inundated with calls and messages from men from this site. My phone number has been given out to so many men by scammers.
I feel harassed and unsafe. I now have to change my number because of this site.

I'v done nothing wrong on the site. I've been polite and not abusive or rude. But it's banned me for the third time this week for 48 hours. I think it's something to do with sending messages too quickly as a caution against scammers. But that's a bit rich as the site hosts scammers posing as women. I had 27 messages from them in 15 minutes one evening. Also, click on 'chat history' and it will lock out for over a minute. Many people can't load images as it asks for points. More fool them if they pay. Also, beware of the awful, clunky beta version.

The monitors are completely out of control. Anyone who wants to have a decent chat and blocks the sponsored paid sex ads becomes automatically targeted and banned. The police should shut this site down. They allow the dating site Ashley Madison--a site that encourages married people to cheat on their spouses--to advertise on their site. This really says it all. Inane supervision, banning of legitimate people. However 14 year olds are allowed free access.

I enjoy using this site BUT... (1) It sets my location as India even though I'm actually in the UK, and there's no way to change it. (2) Trying to notify Chatiw of this has been fruitless -- they can't even be bothered to acknowledge my email. As customer service goes, it's disgusting.

Once again while I was enjoying some clean conversations, the monitor broke into my chat and cut me off from those I was talking to. Mind you, there are planet ads from children stating they are under age, and there are many who advertise various sex sites, however I know the monitors do nothing to block them because the same user names appear time after time. Amongst all the trash there are a few diamonds, however the monitors are destroying this site.

I think they're using a vintage second hand Amstrad for their server. It freezes every thirty seconds for minutes at a time. It's impossible to have a flowing chat. You'll spend most of your time browsing YouTube to keep you amused whilst you wait for it to unfreeze. It's awful. They also ban you for no apparent reason.

The site is well designed and easily acccessble. But it has two versions: the standard and the beta. It's pot luck which will load. The beta version is slow, clunky, doesn't load image files very well and the contacts list overflows such that names overlap. The standard one is fine until you click 'chat history'. Then it locks out for a minute. When you log on, you will be inundated by female profiles selling you porn sites. But the main problem is that the site will block you for for 48 hours for no apparent reason. It is probably because you have tried to contact too many profiles in too short a time. Avoid it.
